Description of Work: Just an annual chimney sweep. |Couple of things I remember about the show service: |1. The person that schedules services is not warm and fuzzy. I wouldn't say rude, but not enthusiastic either. Considering they are the first contact, I would say that was surprising. |2. I had to book out a long time. It took at least a month. It was probably close to their peak time, but still surprisingly long...so if you want next day service, might want to check around. |3. I got an angies list deal that was supposed to include video inspection but was never presented with a video. Maybe the video inspection is only for the sweeper, but that was not explained. Also, I have a pellet stove, so the small chimney may prevent it, but was not explained. |Overall, a good experience and these things are trivial in the scope of having someone with knowledge prepare the chimney for the winter.

Description of Work: They cleaned the fireplace, disassembled the gas logs, fittings and controls to clean and check them. They removed putty that was blocking the flue, which had made the carbon monoxide detectors go off. They were nice professional and clean.

Description of Work: They came to do a roof inspection but went above and beyond to not only caulk and fix minor issues but also to clean out gutters.

Description of Work: I purchased the chimney cleaning with video inspection. Unfortunately, no video inspection was performed and all that we really got out of the $199 was a fireplace cleaning (not even the chimney was cleaned). Granted, we have a gas fireplace, but we haven't had a cleaning since 2007, so I thought it would need one. Instead, we were given pamphlets on new gas fireplace inserts (over $4,000) and advised that we also needed a chimney cap at a cost of $175. My husband went to Lowe's this weekend and bought the chimney cap for $40 and popped it on top of the chimney. Overall, we paid $199 for a fireplace cleaning. However, the staff was friendly and easy to work with. The prices, however, do not appear to be competitive.

Description of Work: Cleaned the wood stove out, inspected it and found a crack- will have them back to fix it!

Description of Work: They arrived on the agreed date. The foreman inspected the 3 chimneys in I indicated. They took photos and showed me the problems they discovered and the solution to the problems as well as the estimated cost. On the day the foreman indicated they could do the job, they arrived on time and completed the job. Everything went well and they did a satisfactory job.

Description of Work: The technician arrived on time, entered the house lying a barrier on the floor in order to not make house dirty. He vacuumed the gas log unit as well as the masonry fireplace. He replaced the fabric and cleaned the eye used to light the unit. He tested the unit and it lit appropriately. He then answered a few questions we had. Great job!!

Description of Work: Had a wood fireplace insert purchased and installed. The blower is not running properly and is making extremely loud noises when running, the insert was installed crooked, the filler that goes behind the stove was said to be installed last Thursday, today is Monday and still no answer. |I contacted the business this morning, the owner answered, immediately gave me an attitude and then hung up on me. I called back and the receptionist answered, stated she would get right back to me, and haven't heard from anyone since.

Description of Work: Checked our chimney for leaks. Did minor repairs and made suggestions that would help maintain our chimney going forward. Home is 30 years old and crown needs repair. Can hold off until spring. Justin was very helpful and not at all pushy. I will definitely be contacting them in the spring
