Service techs were pleasant but deceiving. Would not call this company ever again.

They didn't do what they were supposed to do and we are still fighting with them. We are trying to get our money back. They were very unprofessional. It was not a good experience. We set up an appointment and they came out to give us an estimate. My husband is a contractor so he is very knowledgeable but he doesn't do heights so he didn't want to do the chimney himself. We told them exactly what we wanted. They sent two guys out who didn't know much of anything. They didn't know what they were doing. They didn't bring scaffolding to go up to the chimney. They bent our gutters when they put the ladders up against our house. They broke shingles when they climbed up and down the roof. We paid them but we told them that they were not doing half of what we had agreed to. They said they would work something out. He answered the phone one morning by mistake without thinking about it. I told him that we really were not happy with the situation. He said he didn't have time to deal with it and he hung up on me. He was the owner of the company and I was telling him that his services were horrible and he hung up on me. I couldn't believe it. There was nothing good about the experience.

NORTHEASTERN MASONRY & CHIMNEY I heard about Northeastern Masonry & Chimney, on Angie's List. The job went well, they did a good job and gave me an estimate on an overall repair but, time wise we had to get one done right away, so they will be back.

The job went well, but it was raining a lot when they were going to work, which delayed them a little. But when they got to work they did the job very well, were prompt and courteous. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They did a good job and fixed the issue. There continued to be some leaking but they came back and did a great job of fixing any issues, following up and letting me know what was going on.

Over all, they said they would come back & 'look' @ the chimney again, he sort of laughed, I thought about it, called them last week & canceled the return visit. Not wanting to bother with them again.

The persons who did the work were not professional, did not do the work in a timely fashion, and did a poor quality job. The chimney top is not plumb, the masonry looks sloppy, and the new chimney liner ended up being a diameter too small to fully and efficiently exhaust both the boiler and water heater which it needs to do. Needless to say, we were/are most dissatisfied with the work of Northeastern Masonry and Chimney and would not recommend them under any circumstances.

They provided a detailed estimate and completed the work a few weeks later. They installed a metal liner in the flue and rebuilt the brickwork and cap, then water sealed the entire chinmey. All of the employees were friendly and knowledgable. They performed the job in a timely manner and did not leave any mess.

Initial inspection was very thorough, showed me photos of the interior of the chimney and flues. Gave a detailed estimate listing all aspects of the work to be performed. I declined some of the offered services - no arguments or hard-sells. Job took a bit longer than expected and crew returned the following day (Saturday!) to finish the work. While they were on the roof, they cleaned out my gutters! Very professional and very clean. The chimney looks great, the boiler flue looks great. I would definitely recommend.

Justin and his assistant showed up ahead of schedule and were courteous and explained the entire process before they began. They protected all of the surfaces where they were working with drop cloths and started their work. They hooked up a vacuuming and while Justin was on the roof sweeping, his assistant was sucking up the debris. They swept and cleaned the fire box and then cleaned the work area. The whole process took approx. an hour and a half. They were very thorough and took the time to provide me with literature to replace the tired hearth enclosure.

They did the work efficiently, and gave us a senior discount, but they were much more expensive than their competitors.

IT TOOK LESS THAN 8 HOURS FROM THE TIME THAT I CALLED THEM UNTIL IT WAS DONE. I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY DID. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS OR ANYTHING.

THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL SO THAT DID ME A FAVOR. THEY CAME IN, DID THE JOB AND MADE SURE THAT WE UNDERSTOOD WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WHY. THE WORK WAS DONE VERY SATISFACTORILY. THEY CALLED BACK TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY.

THEY DID A FINE JOB. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THE PRICING SEEMED FAIR. THE QUALITY OF THE WORK SEEMS FINE, NOTHING HAS FALLEN APART. THE PEOPLE WERE PROFESSIONAL.
