I left a message and Todd called back that evening. We set up a time to do an estimate and he arrived on time. We felt the estimate was very fair, and made an appointment to do the work. He arrived promptly on the day with a crew and did an amazing job. We live in a condo community - the houses are attached, so not easily accessible and the back yard is small. He took the trees down quickly and with no damage to the fence or house. The stumps were ground, the roots were pulled and the clean up was meticulous. Todd was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. We would definitely hire him again and recommend him to others.

The owner came to give an estimate exactly when he said he would. They were able to do the work within a few days. I couldn't have been happier with the price, the work and the cleanup. I highly recommend.

The work was done in a very professional manner and completed in the timeframe promised. We found Todd and his crew to be very courteous and respectful. We highly recommend Woodland Tree Service to anyone thinking of tree removal services.

During hurricane Irene, a huge limb the size of a tree came off of the maple tree in our back yard narrowly missing our house. I looked for a tree service on Angie's list and decided to try Woodland Tree Service based upon the listing here on Angie's list. Todd was able to come here to inspect the tree just a few days after I made the phone call. He showed up when he was expected and told us that he really thought it would be in our best interests to take down the tree. We agreed that we were very nervous about another storm taking the tree down altogether. He was able to come the following weekend on a Saturday. He and his 2 crew members showed up a little bit early (which in my opinion was a good thing) and got straight to work. First they chipped all of the debris that we had already piled up from when the limb fell. Todd climbed the tree like he was going up a ladder and proceeded to methodically cut off limbs on the way up. Not only was he quick but he knew exactly where each of those limbs would land. They cleaned up all of the branches and piled up the wood that would be usable for firewood neatly in the back yard. I think it should be noted that the space that they had to work in was very tight. I was extremely impressed with the fact that no damage was done to the fence that was only about 3 feet away from the trunk of the tree. They were a very nice group of guys and it was a pleasure to have them here. Not only is the price fair with Woodland, but their work is excellent and much appreciated. Thank you so much guys for a job well done!

My phone call was returned the next day. He showed-up on time the next day to give me an estimate. His price was lower than I expected. He called on Tuesday night and said he would do the job the next day. When I got home from work on Wednesday the tree was gone. Most of it was cut for firewood and brought into the back yard by my shed. All the smaller branches were mulched and taken away. I didn't have to do any clean-up at all. I am very pleased with the job and I would use him again

Todd was punctual, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. A really terrific experience. And we've had a fire going since delivery. The wood is well-seasoned, and burns slowly and with plenty of heat. A truly first-class product.

We got several estimates for some tree removal, stump grinding & pruning. Todd came & gave us an estimate, he wasn't the lowest, but we liked him & called him to hire him. it took a few calls before he returned our calls but we set up a date to do the work. This is where the unprofessionalism started. He was supposed to call the Wednesday night before the job to confirm start time. No calls. Our repeated calls to him went unreturned. I even left him a message telling him if something personal happened, we understood & call to just touch base with us. NOTHING, & I guess nothing happened because I see he has a report from May 5th, 2010. I think he must have his friends putting reports on this board for him, because I can't believe the lack of courtesy & unprofessionalism this guy showed. I will never use him again & If I hear of someone who does, I will tell them not to. I will be posting a report for the guy I did end up hiring, who was the total opposite of Todd, I have trouble with the fact we gave the go ahead for Todd & company to do the job, & we never heard from them again. I'm just happy that we didnn't give them a down payment or we would be chasing them for that too.

I has this work done right after that very bad storm, there were many trees down all over the island, so I'm sure it was a busy time for most tree services. Todd had this job done in about a weeks time. The job was done correctly and the price was excellent. I would recommend Woodland tree service.

I cannot speak highly enough about this company. Randy and Artie showed up on time and treated our property as if it were their own. They did ALL the work we agreed on and some. They did not forget anything we talked about during the estimate and even did a little extra for no charge. They had to use a 60ft. bucket truck for a portion of the job and handled it great as we have wires hanging over the driveway. When they took the bigger branches down that were over the house (very little room to manuever) they never touched the house with any debri. The rest was done from the ground. They chipped all the wood and took it away as well as blowing sawdust off the roof and driveway. Except for the cut branches you wouldn't know these guys came to the house. The job took approx 5 hours. They were professional, courteous and really nice guys.

Todd responded to my original phone call within 24 hours. My fear was that he would not be able to service us quickly because of the frigid weather, but Todd arranged to deliver the wood the next day. We last purchased wood from Todd in November 2008 . He remebered where the wood had been stacked and asked if the wood should be placed in same area. This surprised and pleased me. It certainly showed his personal attention to his customers. The day of delivery, Todd called and confirmed his time of arrival. He was professional, courteous, efficient and thorough. AND - when he was finished with the stacking the pile looked like a work of art. What a wonderful surprise! I cannot imagine ever using anyone else for the services he provides.

Randy responded for estimate that morning, He was courteous and I thought gave a fair price, He came the next morning about 10, he had to work in snow, big snowstorm brought the tree down in three directions, he and his assistant cut and removed the tree, they cleaned up the debris. I was satisfied and would recommend them.

Todd answered all questions courteously and we made an appointment for delivery in two days. The day before the appointment Todd called to confirm the time. He arrived as scheduled and immediately started to work. He was efficient with his time and precise with the wood stacking. When finished he was friendly and was pleased to learn that we had found the firm on Angie's List and planned to write our own kudos.

Excellent. Randy is very courteous and professional. He did a fabulous job of clearing my yard so I could put a fence down. He actually came back to remove another stump that I found hiding under a bush. He had to cut an old wire fence in several places to do his work.

Randy and son and another helper arrived as arranged with two large trucks, and the chipper. Everyone was courteous and they were hard workers. Removed all trees first day. I paid him half then. Randy came back next day and ground all the stumps even one that wasn't one of his and did full clean up of all debris. I was impressed with their thoroughness and price. He also produced insurance coverage.
