Your Pest Control expert in the Capital District About Family Pest Solutions is a Full Service Pest Control company owned and operated by Jack Johnson A.C.E. (Associate Certified Entomologist). Jack has 30 years of experience in the Pest Industry. His training and certifications include: AIB – America Institute of Baking certified, Purdue University – correspondence course, Texas A&M – Biology of Termite, ACE Certification – Associate Certified Entomologist. The combined training and certifications allow Family Pest Solutions to use the most advanced methods available to treat your home or business. Our service reports and recommendations will communicate our findings, our recommendations, our treatments, what to expect, and what we’ll do at the next service. Family Pest Solutions takes an approach to Pest Management called Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This service will allow us to inspect the home completely before treatment and design a customized solution for control and elimination, while being environmentally responsible and effective.

I told you above.
Description of Work: I paid Angie's list $149 with the understanding that the treatment was good for all season. FPS solutions charged me $117.70 upon treatment and said it needed to be done monthly. I called AL and was told they would straighten it out. FPS called and told me AL was wrong and I needed to be treated monthly. FPS is going to apply my Payment to the July treatment. I'll continue with them, but I'm not happy!

Description of Work: There were mouse droppings in the kitchen, so I called Jack on Monday, and he came on Tuesday. Today is Friday, and there have been no signs of mice since Jack left. Good job!

The owner, Jack Johnson, personally returned my call and came out to service the infestation. He carefully explained the type of pesticides he was using as I was concerned about how it would impact kids, pets and of course my food. In addition, he identified and sealed areas that were the source of the infestation. His professionalism, sensitivity to my family's needs, and prompt service encouraged me to use him for all of my follow up needs. His prices were very competitive with no hidden fees.
Description of Work: Eliminated an ant and roach infestation in my kitchen and laundry room.

Jack arrived on time, was very professional. He found out where the bees were getting in and was able to block the opening and now there are no more bees getting in! Jack was very thorough in his inspection and explained everything he was going to do. I would not hesitate to call him again if I ever have another problem in the future.
Description of Work: He took care of a bee problem I had where there were bees getting into my house somehow.
