I had a very positive experience with Empire Overhead Doors. My garage door had too many problems to fix, and I needed a new one. New doors are a bit pricey, and the owner of the company did offer me other options to fix it and didn't pressure me at all to get a new one. They were available at times that were convenient for me and they showed up right on time.

Everyone is so friendly at empire. They are prompt, they explain everything, and answered all our questions. We were trying to decide between 2 different doors and they gave us great information on both to help with our decision.

Showed up as promised and was very helpful. Everything went as expected and there were no surprises. I very satisfied with the service and will use again.

Great experience. Had a garage door tune up from the Angie's list special. All went very well. Garage door is running smoother than ever. The technician was very knowledgeable and answered a number of questions for me while he was there.

I purchased the $89 tune up for my single overhead door which included replacing the rolling pins. The reason I obtained this service was because both my door springs were "over-sprung" and I knew that would need to be replaced. Empire's service was exceptional. We stayed in contact prior to the appointment via email and the when the appointment time needed to be slighted altered they were most accommodating. The service tech, Matt, was very professional and explained everything to me. The additional cost for the two replacement springs was $42, which I believe was a fair price. He quickly completed the job and the door has been working flawlessly since he left

I found a screw on the floor the next day. I don't think one of the rollers is attached with all the screws. Hope the garage door doesn't fall off. Update: Upon notification came immediately and checked it out. Been many months and door has been working fine.

I thought I needed a new sensor, however he was able to clean out the cob webs and didn't have to replace it. He did install new safety cables and rollers. I was very pleased with him. He was prompt, very professional and extremely trustworthy. It has worked like a dream ever since. I would call him back in a minute!

Came on time, fixed the problem quickly for the agreed on price. We previously had a bad experience with a Troy based business that was totally non- responsive. Empire will be our garage door contractor from now on.

He came out we talked for approximately 5 minutes he let me know that fixing it would cost more than replacing.

Todd returned my call immediately. He had to order parts for replacement of the electric eye on my garage door. On the day of the scheduled appointment, he arrived exactly on time. He performed the service in excellent time and explained what he had done. When he replaced the electric eye on the garage, he placed it in a more appropriate location than the previous setup. He also explained the do's and don'ts of maintaining the operation of the door. I would highly recommend his service.

Timely, polite, professional and fast.

Todd arrived on time for scheduled appointment to analyze garage door problem. Determined that problem could be resolved by bracing more substantially rather than replacing door. Fixed door so it can be opened and closed without any noise or concern. Because of age of door, was told that panels could not be replaced if that became necessary. If new door needed in future, I would have them replace.

Everything went well from the time technician arrived and until he left. Spent approximately 45 minutes working on garage door and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

The owner contacted us promptly. He scheduled an appointment and arrived as agreed upon. He offered to repair the door as opposed to simply recommending replacing it which would have been more money for him. The work was completed as promised and the door is working well. We were very satisfied with the entire experience and would use this company again.

everything went well. We received a call when Todd was on the way to our house. My husband met him there, the work was done timely, & neatly.

I was very impressed with this man. First of all, he was exactly on time--I was five minutes late due to a road detour and he was completely gracious. He did the work and said the door and mechanisms seemed fine. It always worries me when I get a deal that involves "checking things out" because I think women can get talked into things they don't need (at least I know I have been talked into things I didn't really need.) I really appreciated that Mr. Caouette did not do this. I will absolutely use him again if I have problems with the door.
