Absolutely perfect job! Empire was very easy and pleasant to work with in every way. They were conveniently available (next day service while other companies said it would be a month or more before they could replace my ancient and totally failed opener). They showed up the cay after I called them at exactly the scheduled time and did and their installers did a totally professional, expert and excellent job in a polite and friendly way. I was delighted with them and the results and can truly recommend them without reservation. Their office staff is also a joy to work with on the telephone.

I asked for a quote on a [high-end] model that they did not stock. They got one and installed it the next day. They did exactly what they said they were going to do for precisely the price quoted. Installer was fun to talk to.

I originally called for repairs. They told me upfront repairs weren't cost effective or maybe even possible. ( I verified that with another provider so no funny business there). Their quote for new door was half of the completitors. The process of having the door installed was extremely smooth and high quality. Would hire again.

We were very pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. We thought the price was fair and we were very pleased with the installation. We called them 2 years later for a small squeaking problem with the doors and Todd came right away to fix it and instructed my husband on how the correct maintenance. They are owner operated and I would highly recommend them.

The spring broke Thursday and by Monday morning he came and efficiently replaced not only the broken spring but its companion, tested and lubricated the door. He inspected and lubed all three doors and fixed a roller on a second door. He was very professional and courteous. He gave an honest answer when I asked for his opinion of the condition of the doors. He could have said they were in terrible shape and needed replacing, but he said they're in good condition and showed me how to lube the doors myself to keep them rolling smoothly.

Todd is unbelievable! He was able to do an emergency replacement of the springs on my garage door in no time! I was stranded with my car in the garage so I couldn't go to work. Needless to say I only had to take a couple hours off instead of a whole day! His prices were excellent so I used him again at my in-laws for a complete garage door and motor replacement! Highly recommended!

We were able to get an appointment in a couple of days. Repairman was on time and changed the spring out quickly. He also tightened up the opener.

I had to wait about a week and a half for an appointment because they are so busy. Receptionist was very nice when I was scheduling the appointment and called the day before (Friday for a Monday appt) to confirm not only time but what the problem was and anticipated work to be done. She gave me an estimate of cost of materials as well. I was told an arrival time between 8-10. He arrived at 9:35 and was done by 10:15. Door is running smoothly once again and cost was very reasonable. I would definitely hire again.

Repair went fine. He offered to replace all of the rollers while he was at it. Additional price? $35. I said "Great!". He replaced both cables. He replaced the battery in our keypad opener and reprogrammed it for us. He even tightened the springs a bit. We used the 10% off of service Angie's List coupon!

Empire installed new garage door for me a couple of years ago. I kept my existing opener. A couple months ago, I found a deal on a new opener, and messaged Joe to come and install it for me and at the same time, perform a tuneup on the door. He responded promptly and we settled on a service date and price. His tech arrived on time and completed all tasks in a quarter of the time it would have taken me to do it myself. Money well spent. Will call him again.

Excellent job, re-leveled the doors and got rid of the loud noises. Very quick and thorough. Didn't try to up-sell, very much appreciate that.

I was told by phone when making the appointment that the technician would come prepared with different types of springs and fix my door right away. Not the case. The technician said he would have to order the springs and would take a "few days". More than 11 days passed with no word from the company. I called to find out status and did not get an explanation of the delay. I received an email three days later saying they could not find the springs and could not do the job and suggested to look for another company and ask Angie's List for a refund.

Their representative was very helpful! We had bought a "roller replacement and tune-up" deal, but our garage door is so old that the rollers couldn't be replaced. He gave an estimate for a new door and opener that seemed quite fair and he said we'd get a refund since he couldn't fulfill the deal.
