He was on time (a few minutes early) and immediately went to work. The entire service call took about half an hour. I was very pleased with the service - I was afraid we'd need a new garage door or track. I knew a roller was missing but didn't know about the cable. The door now operates smoothly without heavy lifting.

It was fine. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal price. They did a tune-up. I don't know if they replaced the rollers. A couple of days after they left, I tried to open one of my garage doors and it wouldn't open. So, they didn't fix that at all. I had told them about it. They didn't come back out to fix it.

My garage door spring broke late Monday afternoon. On Tuesday morning my wife called and the technician arrived within an hour. This is an old door. He had to go back to the shop for a part but was back promptly and replaced both springs. I got home from work and had a beautifully functioning door. Excellent service.

The service was okay. The service person was good.

It was okay. Everything went smoothly. The person that came was good. I probably will not use them again for anything complicated. I don't know what else they can do but changing out the rollers.

Todd responded to my inquiry and arrived at the time that we agreed upon. He inspected my inoperative 35-yr old garage door openers and said that they could not be repaired, and they did not include the safety switches that are required today. This confirmed my diagnosis. He gave me a very reasonable quote to replace the openers. He and Tom replaced both openers, cleaned and adjusted the tracks, replaced the rollers, installed safety switches on both doors, installed a keypad, and provided remote openers. They also provided and installed steel channel to strengthen the sagging doors. All work was completed professionally in about four hours. Tom instructed me how to set the door codes, removed all of the old material, cleaned up the area, and told me to call him if there were any problems with the openers (there have been no problems).

Arrived on-time and installed keypad. Have used them before and will use them again. This was small job, but very pleasant and professional.

Our garage door wouldn't open today morning for my wife to get her car out. Looked on Angie's and found Empire Overhead doors highly rated. Called them up for an appointment and Todd arrived promptly, upon inspection he knew what was the issue was and took care of it right away. Will surely hire these guys again. Raj

Very professional and responsive. Also on time in terms of phone call, scheduling, etc. Installed two new garage doors with rails in about 6 hours. Looks nice and clean. They even reattached a garage door trim that had been off due to our mistake. There was a small opening after installation but they came back and fixed it. I am happy with what they did and will hire them again if there is any issue with my doors.

Todd helped during the estimate by securing the old door which was a hazard as it was. He showed up on time installing the 9x7 door (single door without windows or insulation) in a detached garage. It took the morning and we find it a pleasure to have a functional garage door. We were able to use the existing garage door opener.

Spent time with me answering questions and providing information on basic maintenance. Friendly and reassuring.

The communication was excellent. They called me back within a couple hours, apologized for taking so long, schedule an appointment for two days later and called the next day to confirm the appointment. On the day of, they then called me to let me know the the serviceman was on his way. By the time I met him at my house the repair was complete. I pointed out one last area of concern. He apologized for not noticing it himself. It turned out the arrangement of the hinges was done incorrectly by the original installer. He was perfectly polite and courteous and patient with me while I ran in the house to try to find the check book. The door is still working better than it had since we bought our house.

- service provider was quick to respond, easy to contact, easy to schedule and professional to work with. - the new unit (LiftMaster, I think) seems to work well and, as advertised, is much quieter than the old one (Genie). - installer kindly programmed a third (generic) "clicker" for my wife. - assuming the unit continues to work well for 5-10years, we are very satisfied.

We were very happy with Empire Overhead Door. First of all, they were the only company that responded to our request for a quote on a new door. They came when they said when they were going to, for both the measurement and the installation. Installation went smoothly, no issues and we are enjoying our new door.

Came home mid-day and garage door would not go down. Saw top panel hanging down - roller had come off and one cable had come off the spool. Called company and they came as an emergency call after hours. Arrived within 5 minutes of estimated time. Totally knowledgeable about everything. Pleasantly surprised that he then checked and lubed other parts. Did not recommend any service or part that was not needed. Very professional!

They be coming back to install a new garage door opener. They were fantastic. They worked with me and got here within 24 hours. He replaced the necessary parts so that it could work. He did a full diagnostic. He gave me options and price comparisons if I wanted to role the dice.

After I contacted them via website and gave my preferable time, they called me back within the specified time and were able to accommodate my needs. They gave me a window of 2 hours and agreed to call me 1/2 hour before they came. Not only did Todd do this, but he asked if it was ok to come a bit early which really worked out well for me. Todd was the service person and he did a great job, made sure everything was working up to par before cleaning up and leaving. Hopefully I will not need their services again, but would not hesitate if the need arised.

It was a tuneup and I had to point things out that were clearly visible that were in need of repair. I was concerned the work done was not as comprehensive as stated.

Workman was on time. Assessed the damaged door and proceeded to work. Completed job in timely efficient manner allowing me to still get to work at a decent hour. After completion he was able to make recommendations on the life of my current door and ways that I can improve the system with key pad, quieter rollers and battery back up. It was a great relief to be able to close my garage door again...especially with the harsh winter.

We were having an issue with our garage door opening properly. They were able to diagnose it quickly and they had all of the tools and spare parts with them to fix it immediately.

Technician was friendly and courteous. Saw the problem right away. Problem was fixed in less than a minute. Was just charged the service fee quoted for visit.

Scheduling work was easy and contractor showed up on time. Work was done quickly without incident and all items installed correctly.
