Kevin and an assistant from Affordable Electric came to my house to examine the problem I had been having for years with my clothing dryer, which was overheating and shutting the dryer off. I had just had another electrician come "fix" the problem, but he actually made it worse. My dryer was still overheating. Kevin immediately noticed that the wiring leading to the dryer was 20 amp wiring, which was not sufficient to run a 30 amp dryer. The original breaker I had was a 20 amp breaker, but the previous electrician installed a 50 amp breaker. Kevin knew this created a fire hazard, as that could cause the wiring to overheat. What's worse is that the breaker that was installed was malfunctioning (it appeared to be an old breaker). The previous electrician insisted my dyer was malfunctioning even after I told him it was an ongoing problem that caused my THIRD dryer to burn out. Kevin was able to test the current dryer and confirmed it to be in working order. After Affordable Electric completed their work, I am now able to use my dryer. Thanks again, Affordable Electric!

Dave did an excellent job. He went above and beyond what was required by showing up in the evening to assess the work and then coming back the next day, based on my availability to do the repair. He was friendly yet professional and knowledgable about the work. He gave good recommendations on needed upgrades without coming off as a sales man. I'd definitely use him again and have already made a referral to a friend.

My experience was superb. David Gist, the owner, came to my house, emailed me his estimate, sent a team promptly to complete the job, sent an inspector to confirm the upgrade. The estimate was about a $100 less than another quote I got; the workers who came were polite, professional and focused. I received the certificate of inspection by email. I would absolutely hire Affordable Electric again.

He is absolutely great. We've used him before. He comes in and does what we need him to do. He is very, very reasonable. He is very clean. Dave is the guy and it is primarily him but he occasionally works with a helper. He is on time. They are very neat, tidy and clean. They pick up after themselves. They do extremely good work and we feel that they are very affordable. That is the name of his company and we agree with that. He is a young man that is locally educated and all; it's pretty cool. We’ve only been in this town for 2 years and we didn’t know an electrician so we pulled his name out of a hat and it’s worked out.

He is a great electrician and he is amazing. The first job was really major and the other two were small. He has done a variety of services. He has done a wonderful job. I would use his services again without a doubt. I am sure that we will have him out within the next two months. We keep on having electric work done for our whole house. He is without a doubt the only guy we would use to get the work done.
