Mario Forgione is a pleasure to deal with and is very responsive. His office staff is great too. We used Mario when we lived a few towns away and liked him so much that we use him in our new home.

I'm very happy with Mario Forgione Landscaping. They were friendly. They were reliable. They came when they said they were going to come. They gave me a very detailed quote of what they're going to do. I feel comfortable with them.

It all goes downhill from there. After receiving their estimate on 4/12, I signed it to accept it and faxed it back to the office. I then received another email on 4/16 which stated: "Please review the attached revised estimate. Monthly maintenance is $180. per month. There was a typo. Sorry for any inconvenience. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to working with you." Despite being angry at the "bait and switch" I immediately signed it and faxed it back. Having had no one come to the house to do our spring clean-up, I emailed the company on Sunday night, 4/28: "I faxed back the contract, twice actually, once at each price. The lawn is getting really long now. I was wondering when you would start?" This morning I received the following email: "We have been trying to get to your house for some time now but unfortunately we are extremely busy and have no customers near you. We are going to have to decline your services." I am extremely disappointed in this decision. After I agreed to the price change ($160 to $180/month), then I have to reach out to you to find out you are not coming. It is almost May and now I have to find another lawn service, when everyone else is full. Why bother to come out and even do an estimate if you won't come here? When were you planning to tell me you weren't coming? This is tremendously unprofessional!

Excellent. Always reliable and efficient. Also a pleasure dealing with the office - always cheerful, efficient and friendly.

I was not at home when they came to do the project, but they did a decent job even without my supervision. I highly recommend them for their reliable service and I will certainly call them again in the future.

He gave us a nice estimate, but we ended up going with somebody else. I did not spend any money with him. There was nothing outstanding. He seemed like a nice enough guy. His demeanor was nice. It was nothing about him personally that put us off. We just went to another person. Nothing in particular stood out about him.

They were legacy when we bought the home. They were the existing landscaper and so we didn’t bother to change as it was a legacy relationship. They are reliable and they do good work but they are pricey. They don’t need appointment to do my lawn. I don’t know if we have a base for comparison because we didn’t shop around, so I guess I will call Mario again.

We called a second time and the lady couldn't give us an approximate time when they would be available to come out. She told me that it was complicated and couldn't give a time window they could come. Everyone I talked to was nice and polite. I decided to stop trying with them because of having to run around with all this for a couple days.

Estimate was timely and accurate. Work was done as expected, yard looked great going into the winter.

Mario is a very personable man. He will come to give an estimate and his pricing is very reasonable. His work is of high quality. He even does things I did not ask him to do (he removed branches that I had cut up after the storm but had not removed by the town services). One time I asked him to come back to fix something and he did without hesitation. I would recommend him for any landscaping services.

This was a fairly extensive project for us, but Mario held our hands the entire way. Not only did he understand our vision, but he brought it to life! We did not even have to use a landscape architect, which would have easily added a few extra thousand dollars. He took us to two terrific nurseries, and was very patient explaining the differences between one plant/tree/bush and another. He had everything delivered to our home within a couple of days of our selection, and laid all the landscaping out for us to approve before he and his crew started the job. We still can't believe how beautiful it all looks. We have always been very house proud, but now we smile as we roll up to our house because it just looks like a dream home from the outside. Talk about curb appeal. Mario is a good and honest business man and his love of his business shows through, all you have to do is come see our house and you will understand. Their work is meticulous.

THEY ARE VERY NICE. THE MAN THAT OWNS IT IS VERY NICE. HE'S BEEN HONEST, AND HE'S DONE WHAT WE'VE WANTED HIM TO DO. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT MANY OF THE WORKERS DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH.
