Mario Forgione Landscaping was great to work with. They helped us with Tree and shrub fertilization.

Despite having a contract for stone work, gutter cleaning, as well as lawn and hedge care, they never performed anything but weekly lawn cutting. They spent the entire summer lying about how they were too busy to do the important work and that they'd take care of it "soon" or "next month." Of course, they never did, despite being asked to do so a dozen times or more. Come autumn, they said the season's over and they couldn't do it. The contract means nothing to them - except that you have to pay and pay. Avoid.

Mario and his team did a fantastic job helping us to enclose our large backyard and freshen up our front flower beds. Mario met me at the nursery, helped me choose which trees to go with and provided great advice along the way. He helped us steer clear of options that would be tough to maintain or extremely pricey. I will definitely be using Mario's services again in the future!

Mario Forgione has maintained and enhanced our landscaping for eight years. Our lawn and gardens look nicer than they did with landscaping services we previously used. He is extremely responsive, reliable, polite and personable. I can email or call him about any services we need and he will take care of them. In addition to maintaining our landscaping, he has fixed masonry, blacktop, planted trees and shrubs, mulched our flower beds, cleaned gutters, fixed drainage and other repairs. I have been extremely pleased with his excellent and responsive service.

The regular monthly clean up promise to be performed at least 4 times a month, but they only came 3 time max. So the yard was always a mess in the fall when the leaves fall a lot. This place got 350 customers in the area (according to the manager), so I assumed they're really understaffed and can't provide the maintenance as promised, or even returning your phone calls. I even got charged for half a month of service when they only came to clean the yard once. Would not recommend to anyone.

They perform services from March to November. I've used them for 2 years.

All work was performed on time and on budget.

A great success....he succeeded where others did not. Since Mario has completed the project we have not had any problems. His guys were prompt, respectful and neat. I have since hired this company to do all of my landscaping and my house has never looked better. I have since recommended him to 3 neighbors who are very happy as well. Highly recommend!!!

Since using Mario Forgione Landscaping for my gardening and landscaping needs, I have had nothing but good results.They are pleasant. reliable , cooperative and extremely professional. Now when it comes to my lawn and garden, all I have to do is sit back and admire it.

They were pretty good on responsiveness. They were good. There were a couple things where they had to come back and redo, but it wasn't like they weren't going to come back and do it. So, if it was done right the first time, they wouldn't have had to redo it again. That's the only bad thing I have to say about them.

Working with Mario Forgione was fantastic. We are first time home owners and we needed to have some things fixed on our walkway and back steps. We received quotes from several companies. What l liked about Mario was that he came in person to give us a quote and spent some time listening to what we had in mind. He was willing to work with our limited budget and gave us different quotes in different price ranges for each job. I liked that I felt I could trust him and the estimates and that he wasn't inflating any cost or adding anything just because we were new to owning a home (some estimates from other companies were ridiculous and they said some things were"urgent" to fix- not the case!) Emily in the office is also very nice to deal with. I think they did great work for the jobs they did and when we are ready the replace our steps or upgrade our landscaping I will definitely call Mario in the future and have already recommended them to friends.

We have been using this company since August to maintain our property, and have been very satisfied. The quality of their work is very good, and their office staff is very professional and responsive. Whenever something was not 100% to my liking, they responded immediately without giving me a hassle.

Mario has provided practical solutions for keeping our garden beautiful at a competitive price for more than 2 years. We recently brought him on to maintain an investment property as well. My lawn is beautiful. My plants are well maintained. Most importantly, the price is right. The reason for my review, however, is to highlight the quality of the service. If we ever have a question or need something changed their response time is amazing. Emily, who manages their office, knows who I am and makes sure any problem is solved even though I am sure I am not a large account. I feel well taken care of like I am a priority. I have recommended them to others and have received similar feedback.

We gave Mario Forgione and his crew straight A's for a job WELL DONE!!! We had to replace the entire stone steps that lead to our front walkway and entrance door. The original job (before we owned the house) was done very poorly and looked like a patio with no edging. It was a big job, and for stairs its very important to get the rise and run correct and to have proper slope to shed water. Mario and his wonderful crew came up with a beautiful, creative way not only fix the walkway but add a level of elegance that added great warmth to our curb appeal. There were a few changes along the way that were no problem at all! Mario and his crew are very professional and got the job done well in the time proposed. We have received several wonderful comments about the job and have recommended the Forgione team to friends. Additionally, prompt and professional action by the office manager (Emily Jentiluci) was extremely appreciated. Her friendly and kind attitude was very welcoming in each and every conversation. Thanks Emily!!! :)

We waited one week for a landscaping consultation with Mario. He never showed up for our appointment. Further, after calling his office twice and being assured that he was on his way, we finally received a phone call (over an hour after he was supposed to arrive) informing us that "he doesn't service your area" (we live in Southern Westchester). Needless to say, this was rude, unprofessional and completely avoidable. A simple phone during any of the preceding seven days could've prevented this whole scenario. Of course, that would've required some regard for my time and business - clearly too much to ask for here.

Mario and his crew were able to start work the same day that I called them to inquire about pricing for their services. They quoted me half of what other landscaping companies were providing me with and the work was top notch. They impressed me so much that I signed a landscaping contract with them to provide weekly maintenance on my property. Mario, his wife, and secretary are great to deal with.

Originally, I gave Mario a bad review which was very unfair of me because I had actually never met him, my husband had. We bought our house in August 2013 and Mario had done the landscaping for the previous owners who hadn't done any real landscaping work except weekly maintenance. Mario had come out to speak with my husband in 2013 and we asked him to do something very small and there was miscommunication with his former administrative assistant who ended up retiring and so we ended up cancelling the job. I ended up writing a negative review on Angie's List for Mario and his wife made a very professional phone call to my husband and followed up with a very professional letter and we both summed it up to a communication error. My husband and I really liked that Mario and his wife take the business very seriously and want all clients to be happy. So after that call, we had Mario come out here and I finally met him myself. Now I know why all the women on the "Scarsdale Moms" Facebook page rave about his company. Mario seems to have a very good design sense and he understood my vision for my home and the outdoor areas my husband and I are trying to create. He also understood that we are first time home owners and will have to do projects in stages throughout the next few years. I really liked his idea to use existing bluestone to create a beautiful new walkway to the front of our home. He also helped us to create a bluestone patio to put our grill on. As far as the weekly maintenance, our lawn looks fabulous. It's taken me two years here to find a landscaper that pulls weeds, etc. I also love that Emily who works for Mario is always on e-mail and super responsive. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely annoying and not easy to please and Mario and his team have been a pleasure to work with. When the patio job was completed, Mario came by to make sure it looked good and that it was to our satisfaction and he even brought my husband a cigar. LOL We hope to continue to use Mario Forgione for landscaping.

He came and gave us an estimate and we signed a contact in may and they told us the work couldn't be done until September. There were a lot of changes going on. We then never heard back from him. I kept emailing the company and we never got feedback. One day I called him and they stated there were changes in the company and someone had left but the email was inaccessible. The communication between them and us has been terrible.

After receiving poor results from previous landscapers, we decided to hire Mario Forgione Landscaping Company for weekly yard maintenance. They are very tidy and clean up after themselves. They are reliable and come weekly at the same time schedule. Weeding is actually performed during each weekly service visit. We also hired them to plant flowers and to apply chemicals at an additional cost. Communication is great; they are extremely responsive and will immediately address concerns. They keep our yard beautiful. We are pleased with Mario Forgione Landscaping services and highly recommend them.

They come once a week and their price varies depending on the different treatments of the lawn, cleanups, hedges and things like that. I just started using them. They seem fine although they are expensive in comparison to other people that we have used. I had to switch from a cheaper company because I was having some problems pop up. My work is pretty basic stuff. He certainly was better than some other people I have used in this area.

Putting away my mower and hiring a lawn service was something I resisted doing, but now I'm so glad that I did. Mario's team keeps the yard looking great. Very responsive to questions, willing to visit the house to consult. The ornamental trees he planted for us were a nice size and are doing well. Very pleased with the service.
