I was very happy, they were fine.

This worked out very well. They arrived early on a monday morning so I could meet and discuss what they were doing. I was worried about a possible problem with my leach field in a newer house-- that I had not had previously inspected. They pumped the tank and inspected the system. They provided me with a written septic report (1 page) with the items they checked and validation that things are working well. The tank service was $170 for a 1,250 gallon tank The inspection was $200 The person I spoke with was very knowledgable, explained to me the location of the leech field, tank, and explained some of the system I have.

I was very happy with the service. They were flexible with scheduling the appointment, and arrived right on time. Matt explained what he was doing and why, and was very careful with the yard and flower gardens. He answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. We'll definitely use this company again.

Scheduling the appointment was a breeze; they were available on our first choice of dates. Gave us an estimate of what the cost would be. On the day of the appointment, Matt arrived early and immediately got to work. He was pleasant and professional, willing to answer any questions we had. He worked very efficiently and cleaned up nicely, leaving barely any trace that he had been there. A couple of days later we had called to ask a follow-up question. It took us 3 calls before we finally got a call back. To their credit, they apologized for not responding earlier. We were pleased with the service provided and will likely use Rotterdam Septic Systems again in the future.

We called on a Thursday, they came and pumped our septic tank the next day. unfortunately that wasn't the whole problem but they took the time to explain what the issue was. Although it didn't make any money for them, they still gave me advice on how to resolve the issue. Honesty is hard to find these days!! Thanks Guys.

Larry Ross took my phone call yesterday. He too was very courteous and not the least bit pushy. He gave me his rates and openings for the future. After calling several other contractors, I got back to Larry and booked an appointment for today. As I said in the above statement, Larry Ross came on time, conducted himself in a friendly and professional manner and pumped out my septic tank. In the past we used another septic service provider. Since their regular driver was and quot;on vacationand quot;, a member of the family came and put the fear of God into us - he said we needed to address our leach field problems immediately or else! That was a year and a half ago! Needless to say, the and quot;or elseand quot; never happened. We took a chance on Rotterdam Septic this time and are very happy we did. I would highly recommend Rotterdam Septic to anyone in need of their services.

I contacted Rotterdam Septic Systems and scheduled an appointment to have my septic tank pumped out and inspected. The appointment window was 10am-12pm and they arrived at around 10:45am. The technician, Matt, introduced himself and was very friendly. He located the septic tank and carefully dug out a small amount of turf to access the tank. After pumping out the tank, he had me flush the upstairs and downstairs toilets to ensure the line was not clogged. The tank was functioning properly. When finished, he closed the tank and carefully replaced the turf he had dug up.

In a previous lifetime I drafted and designed for a civil engineering firm and know something of the way trans-vap and foundation drain systems work, so I know when someone's blowing smoke. Each time Larry made suggestions I'd never thought of and provided work that went beyond my expectations. Mike Holmes would want Rotterdam Septic on his show, they're that good!

very flexible to make an appt. with as I was sched. the service at the same time as the home inspection. courteous, polite and professional as I believe it was the owners son who was present. He answered questions well and the price was right as the other company I called would have charged $430.

Larry Ross, owner, came on time, with his equipment and three helpers. He got the job done quickly and expertly. The workers were polite and very neat. Larry explained the whole process to us beforehand and was honest with us when he ran into a problem with an unexpected extra waste pipe that we never knew about. Larry told us to find a licensed plumber to do the work. He consulted with the plumber and the two of them found a solution together. Larry had to halt the work his company was doing right in the middle of the project but restarted as soon as I let him know that the plumbing work was completed. We were very pleased. We only had two hours without the use of our plumbing/ I would hire him again in a minute as he is honest, hardworking, professional and the new system now works fine. Rotterdam Septic is the company we have used for many years to service our septic system. Twenty years ago they installed a new 'french drain" system in the yard. The job was done well and ever since we have called them for occasional pumping out of our tank. In December 2008, we contracted with them to connect them to the new sewer system. We had several other estimates, but no other contractor we met seem to have the expertise of Rotterdam Septic. The price was right in line with the other estimates.
