Response from Taylor Construction & General Contracting LLC
When [member name removed] called me initially, I told him I would look at his job when I had the chance. A few days later he called me back a second time and I told him I had not gotten the chance to look at his job yet, however, I still had him on my schedule. Unfortunately, the weather was not in my company's favor and we had a bad two weeks of rain, which held me from going to look at [member name removed] job. I than decided to call him and I suggested to him that he might want to look for another contractor to do his job, because I was behind due to the bad weather. After I advised [member name removed] that he might want to consider other contractors that could look at his job sooner, he sent several nasty emails to me. In these emails he said I was unprofessional and that I did not know whom I was dealing with. In addition he stated that I should not subscribe to Angie’s list because people are given the opportunity to rate my company. At that moment I knew that he was planning on giving me a bad rating on Angie’s list. I would like to state that my company has a proven history of satisfaction from the customers we have done business with. The pattern [member name removed] is talking about, about negative comments and ratings comes from people I have never done business with. Finally [member name removed]advised me that I did not know whom I was dealing with, I am not sure if he was referring to him being a MD or not. However, my business does not treat customers or potential customers differently based on their profession. Overall, I thought I was being courteous by advising [member name removed] that if he could find somebody to do his job sooner than I could that he should.
