The whole job went very well - He came about noon, took a ladder from his truck and went outside to remove the air conditioner covers, vacuumed outside, then came in, cleaned the filter, vacuumed and cleaned it all. Then he put the air conditioner on, and saw it was working fine. All in all, a very good experience.

Tony arrived at the scheduled time. He cleaned the burner and fixed a loose connection. I asked Tony several questions and I believe his answers to be honest. He suggested replacing the current furnace with a more efficient one. He was very professional. I will consider Tony when I replace this furnace in the near future.

I sent an email to Tony to explain the issue I was having with heating my house. The next day he returned my call, we setup an appointment and he arrived on time. (something that's important to me) I sent a followup email to provide more information to help him prepare. He called again to get more information. After the job was completed, the house is now heating up all rooms. After the first visit, I had him return to replace some parts that were 25+ years - just to ensure I won't have an issue this year. There was no push to replace, but I wanted expert advice on what I should do at this time. I will call Tony to replace my boiler once a very old system breaks down for good.

Do not waste your money trying to repair a 75 yr old boiler...that money can or should go towards a new one.

They were okay. I didn't read the fine print and therefore I had to prompt Angie's List for a refund.

I used Deep Freeze to replace all of the a/c units on a commercial building I had just purchased. Tony and his men were courteous, professional, prompt and totally on the ball with this large job. They removed the 4 old rusty 5 ton units and put the new ones in on the same day. All I can say is, seamless. I now have a maintenance contract with Tony and Deep Freeze on these units. We decided not to use this company for the much bigger job of furnace and ac replacement because they did not seem to be able to arrive for any appointments on time. Their person would arrive several hours late while we were in both the estimate stage and work stage, and not seem to feel that was unacceptable. The excuse was either that they were busy on another job or stuck in traffic. In addition, we were told that they couldnt start any work until the end of Nov. which was too late to be of use to us. There is an elderly person in residence and ability to heat the house was needed before the temps dropped.

called deep freeze left a message ,TONYgot to me the same day ,he came tome the next evening but did not have the right pump therefor the pump was replaced the following day.Very professional,polite and he apologized for the delay.

My system is currently working well, so I only needed the units inspected and filters changed. Tony checked the filters in the blowers and told me that they were still clean, so they didn't need replacing yet. However, he told me that an additional filter in one of the returns was superfluous and should be removed. He explained that the additional filter caused the motor to work harder, shorten its life, create higher energy bills and not even provide us with cleaner air. He removed it. In addition, he explained that one of my compressors would probably break down within the next year or two, because it's already thirteen years old. Unfortunately, if it breaks down after 2013, I won't be able to replace it, because this type of unit will no longer be manufactured due to stricter environmental laws. If I buy a new unit now, I could maintain my current system until 2020, when even stricter environmental laws go in effect. By then, the refrigerant used by this system will not longer be available in the United States and I would have to get a whole new A/C system installed, regardless. Needless to say, I would prefer to maintain the system that I have now without ever having to replace the whole thing. But that is not one of my options. I appreciate the way Tony spent the time to explain all of the above to me. Now my husband and I have to decide which option is best for us.

I called Deep Freeze because I had a recent bad experience with my current A/C Co. I was looking for a quick second opinion, and quite frankly, a new company. Tony answered the phone, and from reading all of the reviews on Angie's List, I already knew we were better off. Although he was busy with a customer, he took my call and scheduled us in for a day and a half later. I was quoted $750.00 for a part and installation from my current company. Tony arrived, assessed the A/C units, and crept into my attic on a very hot day. Turns out the part (a valve) wasnt even necessary! Tony came back the next day with Pat (keeping in touch throughout) and did maintenance, added fluids, and more on the condensers (something I had already paid my current co. to do when the units were turned on and "serviced" in the Spring). He took almost 90lbs of pressure off of the system! Lowering the amount of electricity to run the A/C as well. His prices were very fair, and he automatically gave me the Angie's List discount without having to ask for it. I think I have found my new A/C Company. Thank you Deep Freeze.

Tony and his team worked with us to design a plan that installed ductwork, that is functional, yet maintains the original character and charm of the house. They removed radiators and the pipework related to it, installed ductwork, connected the existing furnace to the new air handler, and connected the central a/c unit. Because we were in the midst of other major repairs/renovations, we asked Tony to delay certain parts of the new system's installation. He graciously worked with us and finished the job when it worked best for our renovation schedule. Tony and his team are very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and honest. For the amount of work performed and the high-efficiency system that was installed, we feel that we received an excellent price on he job. We'd definitely use them for any future heating or a/c job.

I came home from vacation on Sat to no A/C working. After looking at Angie's list I decided to call Deep Freeze. On Sun I called and left a message. I couldn't believe it but got a call back later in the day. On Monday morning, first appt, Tony was at my house working. He is very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt awful as it was 90+ degrees outside and he had to crawl around in my attic where it was well over 110 degrees. The ceilings are very low there so he literally had to crawl- across beams no less as there is no flooring. He found the problem, fixed it and charged up the freon. Mind you, I had called Elm Air Conditioning for a pre-season service in May and they sent a young man out who said everything was fine, all he needed to do was change the filter. When specifically asked if I needed freon because the house was pretty warm, he said no. Low and behold, now that Deep Feeze fixed the problem, my house is cool and comfortable. I will definately use them again.

I will definitely use Deep Freeze again; the owner, Tony, is very personable, responsible and easy to work with. He came when he indicated he would, the cost of the work was reasonable for the effort and materials involved, he exhibited professionalism at all times.

Professional, fast and courteous - that sums up my experince with Deep Freeze. They arrived on time for the appointed, diagonsed and repaired the problem in less than an hour.

The job took about 2 hours, and he thoroughly serviced 2 compressors and a split unit. And cleaned the lines, electrical contacts and air filters.

They were very courteous, efficient and kind. They really knew that they were doing, and the work they did was excellent. He gave me pointers on how to best use the system and how to clean it. I felt safe with him in my home, and I was very pleased with the work.

Tony arrived as promised and evaluated the leaking problem with my Quietside split air system. It appeared the problem was a clogged drain line. Since he was alone and needed his assistant to remove the unit, he returned with his assistant the next day and repaired the unit. The entire experience was a pleasure. I would call him again anytime.

Tony has worked at my family's house for many years. This recent job was fixing a furnace that was burning incorrectly and giving off a bad smell. Once again Tony was there promptly, fitting us into his schedule quickly. This was the second time he has worked on our heating system. The previous time he fixed a valve, rather than replacing a whole run of pipe, saving us a much larger expense. Over many years he has worked on our a/c system, servicing the original one, and eventually installing its replacement---which I remember him doing next day during brutal summer heat, so my elderly dad would not be without a/c. Through many services and repairs Tony has always done high quality, courteous and honest work. I hope the rest of the winter is repair free, but I look forward to having Deep Freeze do the spring turn-on service for the a/c.

He did do a great job and he did the job properly. He came right away. He went out of his way to try and get replacement parts for our old unit, He really knows what he is doing and got old equipment running great.

Had originally subscribed to Angie's List to find heating contractors (planned switchover from oil to gas this fall). Last Friday, the temperature reached 103 degrees, and my downstairs central a/c quit. I went to the list of HVAC contractors - looked for one with an A Rating - and read the outstanding comments for Deep Freeze. I called them on Sat., and surprisingly a very nice lady 'on the other end assured me that someone would be at my home the same day. Anthony came and diagnosed the problem. That unit is very old (approx 1955), and though it has consistently out-performed the 5 yr. old upstairs unit; I'd braced myself to be sold a replacement unit. (Especially during a heat wave). Anthony's honesty and knowledge are incredible. He was back on Tuesday with a new relay - vacuumed out years worth of leaves & debris - cleaned the coil, and even made up a shield to reinforce part of the rotted base. Needless to say, the unit is working better than ever. Guess who I'll be calling to do the gas conversion or replace this a/c unit when it really goes! This is my first experience with Angie's List - it was a great one!

Knowing that it was extraordinarily hot, I didn't even expect to be able to get serviced until after the weekend. They showed up the same day. I thought they would need to order parts - - he had whatever he needed on his truck.l Not only will I continue using Deep Freeze, I will recommend them without hesitation to my friends!

Tony was able to come to our house the next day during a very busy weekend. He was able to troubleshoot our problem and gave us great advice on how to handle/maintain our central air unit. I would highly recommend.

He arrived on time and immediately went to work on the furnace. Within a few minutes he had determined the problem. Before he installed the new starter he gave me an exact price on the part and service call. Anthony is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. He asked me how I had learned of his company and, without my asking, offered his initial Angie's List discount. I asked him a few other questions about the furnace and possible future upgrading of my system. He offered his professional advice (which included some money-saving suggestions.)
