The owner, Cliff Kemp, came to the house on a Tuesday to give us an in-home estimate on carpeting for a 10x24 room, had samples with him so we picked one out quick and easy. He called that same week on Thursday to let us know carpet was in, scheduled the install for the next day, Friday at 9am.... talk about A to B! Two guys, Joe and Jason, showed up promptly on Friday to do the install, and they were friendly, efficient, and within 3 hours we had the carpet in! It looked great, they cleaned up everything behind them and left the place in great shape. Also Cliff came to the house during the install, per the request of his installer, to trim the bottom of a door that wouldn't clear the new carpet, and did not charge us. We really appreciated the extra service and effort! Would definitely recommend and use this company again.

We've used Cliff before for a Kitchen vinyl install and were happy with his service. When we wanted to replace the flooring in our bathroom, he was the first call we made. He brought flooring samples to our house, measured the space and scoped out the job to provide an estimate. I planned to remove the previous flooring and attend to some plumbing issues that needed resolution prior to putting the new floor in. When we were ready, Cliff installed the new floor and was in and out in a day. Bottom line, the floor looks great and Cliff's service was professional, neat and met our budget. He even did some extra work leveling the floor where we had to do some plumbing repairs without any adjustment to the job cost. I'm always a fan of working with a local business when I can and I would encourage other Angie's List users to at least give him a look. Thanks!

Went very well. They spread the work over two days, and were super nice and friendly the whole time.

Cliff showed up on time and he had samples of exactly what I was looking for - pet proof carpeting! I narrowed down my color choices to one I thought would match the coming new paint job and made my deal with Cliff. My dogs seemed to approve of my choice, they both laid down on the sample! The installers were on time. They even helped me move the three pieces of furniture out of the Living room that I needed help with. They then got right to work pulling up the old , nasty carpet and horsehair padding! (Eeww) As soon as they were finished installing the new padding, Cliff showed up with the carpet and they got it installed. The installers then helped me move the furniture back in. The furniture glided over the new carpet, no bunching, which showed the carpet was stretched properly! The new carpet is gorgeous, even my cats approved of it by bringing their toys in on it.

Located the provider via Angie's List, and gave a call. He answered his cell and was more than willing to help. Made an appointment for him to meet me at my house and he got right to work. Professional at all times; explained what he was doing and why. So, if I have another flooring project, I will for sure give him a call.

Saved approximately $1000 relative to next lowest quote for same carpets and installation. Cliff was a pleasure to work with and is a perfectionist. He came back when I called and notified him there was a barely noticeable small lump in the carpet. He spent a couple of hours lifting the carpet and pad to discover the plywood floor underneath had an uneven seam causing the lump. He then reinstalled the carpet perfectly. His attitude and demeanor was 100 % positive throughout this work. Cliff's wife Grace runs the office for him and was also a pleasure to work with in setting up appointments and communicating quotes. Great family business I would recommend to anyone and I look forward to doing business with them again in the near future.

WOW!!! I found Cliff's name on Angie's List at noon on Monday, and by 2 pm that day, he was repairing the ripples in my carpeting. Extremely fast, VERY reasonable! It couldn't have been better. I HIGHLY recommend Cliff.

Overall, we were pleased working with Cliff and would use him again. We are happy with our carpet and although we did not shop around, felt the price was very fair.

Originally we preferred big stores like Lowes and Homedepot. But both of them proceeded extremely slowly. It cost me $37 and one week to get a measurement from Lowes, and another three weeks to get an estimate (yes, just an estimate). After that we decided to take a chance with Cliff, and it proved to worthy every penny. Cliff did the measurement on 12/14, we picked out the carpet in his showroom on 12/16, and he finished installing them on 12/20. Simple and easy, with a price $300 less than the Lowes' estimate. My only complaint is on both of his visits to our house, Cliff were at least two hours later than the scheduled time.

Cliff did a great job and in a very timely manner. He made an appointment to meet with us within a day of contacting him. He knew we were on a tight time schedule in getting our house ready to sell and he was able to complete the job quickly just before Christmas. He made sure everything was completely accordingly and when my husband found a couple of places which needed tightening he fixed them right away. He did have an assistant who was also very nice and hard working. We would definitely recommend Cliff and use him again in the future.

Our entryway grey tile look linoleum that we installed in Feb. and was not damaged before he came to do the job, but was damaged right in the middle about an inch away from the step when he finished the job and showed up as a white gash. I noticed the damage when cleaning up carpet debris after they had finished the job and left. The new carpet is light beige, which had camouflaged the damage. As a flooring company I would think that you'd notice this damage to preexisting flooring right away and bring it to the homeowner?s attention to be sure that your not responsible for previous damage before you take on a job. Didn't happen and he got huffy when it was brought to his attention and asked me if I was accusing him of damaging the linoleum. He came back to "fix" it and upon closer inspection he just put brown stain on the damage. Handprints were left on walls as well as visible seems in the hallway that he attempted to fix but they are still visible. Seems are inevitable in carpet install, but you should never see them. He did say that if I ever had any issues he'd come back and take care of them, but when I originally brought up my dissatisfaction with the carpet seems and linoleum his attempts to fix them came along with him telling me that it's the best that he could do. Lesson learned: I would not hire him again and you get what you pay for.

Cliff did a great job! He was on time and ready to work. He was focused and professional! I ordered a plush carpet, color mink. This type of carpet was recommended by Cliff and I am glad that I went with his professional opinion. It was installed in a very busy part of the house, the family room where wear and tear are sure to happen. The room looks beautiful, even though we weren't able to get our furniture yet we don't mind sitting on the floor with large pillows because the carpet is so comfortable. He was gone in no time and every thing was in order. I would highly recommend him.

We had carpet installed approximately four years ago by Home Depot that begin to wrinkle and warp due to an improper installation. I contacted Cliff Kemp and was able to speak with him directly. He set up a time to come over and re-stretch the carpet and was punctual and professional. Cliff and his co-worker were both friendly and cognizant of the fact I had two napping children in the house. The men completed the repair job in about an hour. Will hire again!

Cliff was very responsive. They were able to fit us in the day after I called them. Their cost was also so much better than the other place that gave me an estimate (they weren't even in the same ball park!!). They showed up on time, checked out the areas that needed to be stretched, then got right to work (including moving any furniture that needed to be moved). We were hoping that this would keep us from having to have our flooring replaced in the near future and it was obviously a good fix. The carpets look great!

Cliff of Carpet Carpet is not only the owner but also does the in home measurements and carpet installation also. He provided an excellent quality carpet @ a reasonable rate. Had several other quotes and found Cliff @ Carpet Carpet was the cheapest. Ive used Cliff several times in the past and has always been excellent! He had the entire job complete in a day. Cliff Kemp Carpet! Carpet! was responsive and did good quality work.

Cliff installed about 90 square yards of carpet and pad, and even helped with furniture moving. He will be installing Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring in my kitchen, hallway, powder room and laundry room in February. This will include moving and reinstalling the toilet, removing and replacing the moldings and removing the old flooring.
