Excellent. They came right away and did a great job.

Plumber quoted me to replace part which he said was really difficult with this toilet ( Bologna ) but when I told him the wax ring was leaking, he said that wasn't a real issue?? But, if I wanted to, I could replace the toilet 450 for their toilet 175.00 if I used my own. Ridiculous.. As far as the evacuation pump goes, he was trying to get me to replace the float level mechanism AND told me if the float level was going bad, the pump was not far away. Total quote was 1200.00. I am sure that it would have costed somewhat close to the IF I actually needed all of that done... I had it done with my own toilet with Penfield Plumbing for 300 and change.. I would recommend Penfield Plumbing!

Great. The plumber was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. We were operating the water for the entire house using the water main in the basement, and although it was too late to completely fix the problem on his first visit, he took the time to make it usable. He did not charge us for this kindness. He came back on Saturday to completely fix it. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost for the whole thing. I would highly recommend Star Rooter, and will call them again if I ever need a plumber.

Turned out to be two problems - broken water shut off valve and problem in dishwasher. He fixed valve and referred us to an excellent appliance repair person, who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with the 20 year old dishwasher, saving us from buying a new one for my mother in law. A very happy outcome!

After a day an a half trying to open drain by rotor rooting for awhile and cutting pipe to get closer to where he thought the plug was and at that time decided that pipes were broken and he would have to jack hammer basement floor to repair problem, after doing so to open up floor, pipes was found to be broken and there was nothing but dirty in drain system, repaired drain by putting in new pipes and reattached system with no farther problems, excellent job done by Erik and would recommend this plumber to anyone. Outstanding job.

They never did contact me again, so I'm left to assume they have all the business they want already. I'm looking for another plumbing service, I hope I can find one that is not rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, I can't recommend Star Rooter.

I had Star Rooter Plumbing in last November to clear a clog in the drain that goes from my kitchen and washer to the sewer line. Then in March, the same line clogged up again. I called them. They came the same day and removed the clog and scoped the line to determine the problem. The line is broken under my basement floor. They did not charge me at all for this trip, and they have written up an estimate to repair the line at a future time. They said there was no charge since the clog reoccurred so quickly and I was still under "warranty".

They came when promised. they did the job. They were friendly and gave me suggestions for avoiding the problem in the future. Gave me a 10% discount for finding them on Angies list!

Jeffrey, the owner, was at my home when he told me he'll be. He was professional and friendly. He explain before he did the work what it would entail and the cost. He unstopped the drain and it's working fine now. We are very pleased with Star Rooter and would use them again.

Star Rooter came the same day that I called them. They checked in with me one-half hour before the plumber arrived. Eric was prompt and courteous. He sized up the problem quickly, and within an hour had the main sewer line cleared. I bought a new laundry tub, but I didn't have all of the parts, so he went and got what was missing. He also suggested putting in additional shut off valves, so we did. They charged $205 for snaking the drain and $220 for installing the laundry sink. They gave me a 10% discount for using Angie's list. All and all it was a good experience.

We had a significant blockage in our drains which was causing backup in our bar sink in the basement. We made a call on Friday and Erik showed up on Monday (it wasn't an emergency) and he cleared up the drains for us and even offered us a treatment to use to keep the drains running smoothly from now on. Erik was courteous, conscientious and professional. He made sure all was running smoothly before leaving. My husband and I had put off the problem until we no longer could out of fear of cost but it was not overly expensive and it was $200 well spent!

I noticed a leaking faucet that was dripping through the floor into the basement. It was early on Sunday, and I found two companies that worked. I called Star Rooter. They found someone who could help me. We used our phones to take picutres of the parts that were leaking. He bought the parts, showed up and took care of it. The whole ordeal was over in an hour. Absolutely wonderful!

Erik came the same day that we called for help. He was friendly and professional. He assessed the situation then told me what the cost would be before providing any work. After that was agreed upon, he went to work with his machine. The clog was taken care of within a short time. We ran some water to make sure everything was okay. He cleaned up after himself, and then we finished the paperwork. I think everything went as well as it could have.

It went Great. Jeff called to let me know he would be late due to a tractor trailer accident backing up traffic. He gave me the estimate and made the repair, and was done within 40 minutes. They were nice, polite, and cleaned up . I will defiantly have them come back in the future .

Extremely well. The owner, Jeff, was willing to give me a good, and very fair, estimate over the phone based on my description of the problem. Eric, the technician, arrived promptly, accomplished the work successfully, cleaned up very well, and charged me the amount of the estimate. And the cost was well less than other estimates. Very pleased overall.

It went extremely well. The owner promptly returned my initial call to determine what I needed and promised to have someone come out on the date I requested. He was very interested to learn of his excellent rating on Angie's List and told me that I qualified for a 10% discount as a member. I originally was only going to have the secondary waste line cleaned (we have a main line to the road and a second line to our carriage barn). However, I was so pleased with Star Rooter Plumbing's (SRP) work and got such a reasonable quote that I decided to have additional work done. The price for the drain cleaning was $175 with my Angie's List discount. I was quoted an additional hour ($85) for the garbage disposal/under-sink replumbing and one hour for the faucet installation. I then decided to have the main waste line (to the road) cleaned as well. Although, the replumbing was more complicated than originally estimated and took an additional hour, SRP did not charge me for that hour. It was by then quite late, so we opted to complete the master waste line cleaning until a later date. I have been promised a reduced rate for that visit. Overall, I could not be more pleased with SRP's service and pricing. The serviceman was extremely polite and pleasant, highly professional, and very skilled. He not only completed the work well -- he also cleaned up so thoroughly that I thought he had washed the floor and the tiling under the sink. They shone. I give Star Rooter Plumber 5 stars and two thumbs-up, and recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs a plumber. They are the only plumbing service I will ever use. I understand that they do HVAC work, as well, and will certainly have them back for that.

I had the first appointment scheduled on Wed. at 4:30. I got a call at 4:25 saying they couldn't make it. More warning would've been nice so I wouldn't have need to leave work early. We scheduled the appointment the next day at 5:00. Jeff came out and was very nice and only needed about 10 minutes to look at the job. He took my information and said he would send me an estimate. After a week and no estimate I sent an email and called and left a voicemail and still no response. Now I have to line up more companies to come out and give an estimate.

I had about 1-2" of water in my basement. I called and in less than 1 hour Eric was at the house. Took him 5 minutes to determine that the sewer line was backed up. He pulled out a bunch of roots that had grown into the line. He then brought in the camera and showed me the complete line and where he had cut out the roots. Everything took about an hour. He even gave me a free analysis of my water pressure. Overall Star Rooter Plumbing was excellent and I would recommend them.

Guys arrived promptly on Sunday morning and assessed the situation. After a brief look at what was needed I was quoted an estimate and the gentlemen promptly got to work. Quite a few roots were pulled up with the snaking but everything was neat and cleaned up upon completion. Jeff then went the extra mile and ran a scope in the drain, as with the amount of roots removed, he was concerned there may be other issues like a collapsed pipe or large invasive tree roots where my galvanized met up with the clay tile or at the clay tile joints. We discussed options for the future of the line and I would happily have them back again for ANY plumbing issues.
