Experience could not have been worse.2 different times appt.not kept.Then when it finally was real problems began.I was told that only one boiler specialist available so had to wait.Upon finally showing he installs wrong parts.After finally getting them back over there to clean up their own mess he still doesn't get it resulting in a 2nd system failure.No luck in finding them a 3rd time.Over course of 3 days(regular business hours) phone never answered and messages never returned.Both myself and property manager made numerous attempts.Was even explained to them that people were freezing,waiting on them,single Mom with kids.I had no choice but to hire someone else to clean up their mess,essentially paying twice for one job.So all these attempts to find them(And all x2 because not only office phone but owners cell also) no communication whatsoever at end.Not only did they Botch the job and not stand behind their work but couldn't even manage a lame excuse for any of it beginning with the incompetence.They stole my money and grief and aggravation they created worse than that.

both jobs went well....they did have to return a 2nd time....but the job price covered 2 returns if required. our main line is long so Jeff and Eric had to bring in a special high powered hose to clear it out. Great team, friendly, answered any questions, were prompt and courteous.

Terrible!!! NO CALL NO SHOW!!! The absolute worst thing you can do as a business is promise an appointment, then the day of you don't show up and never call to let the customer know you aren't going to show up. I finally call the company and a woman answers letting me know she'll check to see where the service person is and she never calls back. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! NOT RELIABLE!!! PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS IN THIS INDUSTRY AND I WILL ABSOLUTELY SPREAD THE WORD OF THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE!!

Never showed up for scheduled appointment. Did not return call when they failed to meet. No idea why.

I think his name was Zach, great guy. knew exactly how to diagnose and solve the issue and did it fast as ****. Will definitely use them again

Eric knew what he was doing, quoted me a fair price, and was extremely easy to work with, I would definitely hire again.

was able to book appointment for next morning. when the pipe was being snaked and the machine ran out of cable (pipe was very long), he called for backup and colleague arrived within 15 minutes with a bigger machine at no extra cost. excellent service and problem resolved on the same morning, and overview of the problem provided clearly. Professional and friendly, highly recommend.

The plumbers work was successful. The work took about an hour because the house is very old, but he never gave up. I definitely plan on using them for future work.

The old toilet had leaked because the floor is not level and the old seal was no longer effective. Because if the leak the grout in the tile was badly stained a rusty color. To my great surprise, when he was done the grout was cleaned like new, he added extra silicone where there was a gap beteeen the floor and toilet and the toilet is very stable. He was neat and professional

The quality of the work was very good and the plumber was professional and friendly. I thought it was a little pricey though, especially since I had already purchased the faucet. The plumber was delayed on other projects so I ended up waiting almost all day for him to arrive. The office did keep in touch to let me know about the delay but I still spent my day off waiting.

was quick, professional, gave me a discount since I used two jobs for one visit. Wonderful service as the faucet picked did not originally fit and had to be easily re scheduled.

I called Star Rooter, Erik came right over within the hour, checked everything inside and out. Found and fixed the problem for a very, very reasonable price. There was no service call fee and the estimates are free. Would defiantly use them again. Great job!! Very pleased.

It was very good. He did a good job. Worked very hard finding more problem, he took care of everything.He was here probably 4 hours or 5 hours. I though for all the work he did, it was a good price. They came so fast it was wonderful. When I needed them that day they were there.

I called Jeff twice in two weeks with no return call, but on the third attempt he was able to answer and give me a time to come out to our house. He arrived promptly, brought a snake camera, and began investigating this downspout pipe. Luckily there were no visible cracks or blockages, and he was able to follow the pipe all the way out to a dry well just past our steps, while marking with water-based paint to show us the path of the pipe. Because we didn't have any issues with that pipe, he didn't charge us anything and was on his way about 20 minutes later. I really appreciate his help, especially before we spent money on new gutters, and now I know where this pipe leads! I would definitely hire him for any real plumbing I needed done in the future.

They simply are the best. My parents needed some work done on the drain pipes outside. They worked in the cold and still got the job done. Simply the best!

Eric showed up at 12:00 pm. He took about 2 hours to fix the issue. He was thorough and helpfully explained what was happening as he worked. He gave a general estimate for future work, too. He was pleasant and professional. The price for the work done also seemed very reasonable. When he gave me the bill, he had already applied the Angie's List coupon.

Plumber quoted me to replace part which he said was really difficult with this toilet ( Bologna ) but when I told him the wax ring was leaking, he said that wasn't a real issue?? But, if I wanted to, I could replace the toilet 450 for their toilet 175.00 if I used my own. Ridiculous.. As far as the evacuation pump goes, he was trying to get me to replace the float level mechanism AND told me if the float level was going bad, the pump was not far away. Total quote was 1200.00. I am sure that it would have costed somewhat close to the IF I actually needed all of that done... I had it done with my own toilet with Penfield Plumbing for 300 and change.. I would recommend Penfield Plumbing!

Great. The plumber was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. We were operating the water for the entire house using the water main in the basement, and although it was too late to completely fix the problem on his first visit, he took the time to make it usable. He did not charge us for this kindness. He came back on Saturday to completely fix it. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost for the whole thing. I would highly recommend Star Rooter, and will call them again if I ever need a plumber.

Turned out to be two problems - broken water shut off valve and problem in dishwasher. He fixed valve and referred us to an excellent appliance repair person, who quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with the 20 year old dishwasher, saving us from buying a new one for my mother in law. A very happy outcome!
