Description of Work: They replaced five windows with glass clocks, and the young man did a poor job at cementing an i had to go in and actually ask him to redo a few things and had to even try to repair a few of the things after he left. Clean up was not good at all and the worker was on his phone too much.

Description of Work: 18 residents in my neighborhood all had 2 vented block windows installed in our basements on the same day. I've had this company do the same in 2 previous homes so using them again and passing the word on to my neighbors was easy because of excellent experiences in the past. The most difficult part of working with this company is really in the initial communication and scheduling the work. The call service is out of Buffalo while the local sales and scheduling is in Rochester. I'd suggest they clean up their communications and scheduling issues to optimize an otherwise very good company. They should contact me to understand the issues better. I've had or been responsible for at least 25 sales and installations and I'm neither affiliated with or working for Rochester Glass Block.

Description of Work: We had 2 basement double-hung windows replaced with glass block windows. Estimate went fine and we set an installation date. 2-man crew arrived and did the job in under 2 hours. They did break the glass in one of the existing windows during the removal process but cleaned it up afterwards, as well as taking the old windows away. The installers also didn't appear to be prepared with drop cloths, so I provided one to protect a rubberized floor we have in part of the basement. Even so, they did get some mortar on the floor, but luckily I was able to clean it off without too much trouble. They also used an outlet on the front porch and ran an extension cord around to the side of the house to mix the mortar, when they could have just asked and I would have shown them the outlet that was on the deck directly above them, or the outlets in the storage room right next to them! All in all the windows look good and we're happy with the results.

Description of Work: They installed three glass blocked windows. They were really professional. Work was excellent and I was impressed they took all the garbage. Two really nice installers. The only negative was because they were in a busy season I had to wait three weeks to get an installation day.

Description of Work: They put four glass block windows in our basement, two with vents. The price was extremely reasonable. The two workers were friendly, professional and completed the job in the time they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves, carried away any debris, and even cleaned the dusty window frames and sills. (Remember, they were basement windows.) I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Bought the coupon for doing two windows but ended up doing all three of our old (1969) single-pane drafty basement windows. Had (optional) vents added for all & even added an optional dryer vent to one of them which I didn't know was avail. Punctual, friendly & professional. Definitely recommend. Windows look great, work great & installers we done in under two hours.

Description of Work: We had 3 non standard size windows replaced on the property and the installation was on two very old homes. The installer was punctual coming at the time we agreed on. He was extremely neat and organized and a pleasure to work with. The way he finished out the windows was fantastic and they look great a true master craftsman. We highly recommend Rochester Glass Block!
