Description of Work: Our old dryer was not working. We were wanted to have it repaired. Pro-Tech said it was not worth repairing. We had the dryer vent cleaned on the same original visit.

Description of Work: I called to get the dryer vent cleaning, but also had some concerns about the positioning of the dryer vent on the exterior of our home's foundation (it was REALLY close to the ground). When he came out to the house for the vent cleaning I talked to him it and he agreed it shouldn't have been installed that way, so we decided to expand the scope of work and have him come back another day to install a proper vent on the exterior of our home, clean out the duct work, AND cut our gas line so that we could reposition our washer and dryer so that the washer would be on the left and dryer on the right (which would have been the logical installation in the first place, but due to special circumstances we were sort of forced into it). While he was here he also happened to notice some weird piping in the basement and expressed an interest in looking at our dishwasher. Apparently our dishwasher wasn't plumbed correctly and dirty water from our sink was going into the dishwasher (explaining the putrid smell and mold growing inside of the machine). Anyway, we could not be happier, he took care of so many things from our "to do" list and he was extremely professional and there was no pressure to get us to do things we didn't want to do, I'm afraid the expansion of the scope was really all my idea.

Description of Work: Repaired the oven on my gas range. Called in the morning--came the same day. I will definitely call him again.

Description of Work: Our dryer was not working. We called, described the problem, set a date for a visit (the next day!). Rod, the owner, was there right on time, diagnosed the problem as a thermostat. He replaced it and the dryer works PERFECTLY. Such a different experience from the first two businesses we called. Thank heaven for business people like Rod. We'll definitely call him with any future problems with our appliances.

Description of Work: Very honest, didn't charge due to the fact he said it would cost me more to fix verses buying another stove.

Description of Work: I have a 27-year-old gas range and wanted to make sure it was in safe working condition before I started using it. I was concerned about a gas odor which the technician assured me wasn't gas but the smell of the combustion, and described in detail what a gas leak would smell like. He then checked the appliance carefully, cleaned some of the pieces, and fixed a burner that wasn't lighting.
