If I could give a grade higher than "A" on this site I would. 8:30am Saturday morning I noticed my dryer was not running anymore after I had just started it ten minutes earlier. Looked over the power and saw that was working so I knew I had to call Pro-tech to have them look at it. I First went to a near by laundromat to finish drying my clothes and run some errands but after that I called Pro-tech expecting to make an appointment for Monday or later that week and the lady informed me she could have a man out there later that afternoon. Around 2:30pm a Pro-tech representative arrived and got right to work. Took my whole dryer apart and found the problem with a sensor near the back of the dryer and he went to his truck, got a replacement, cleaned out the lint from inside the dryer and then put everything back together all within an hour! The whole time he was very courteous and professional. I wish I could call him for every repair my house needed! Bottom line, if you need your dryer or other appliance fixed, call pro-tech you will not be disappointed!

Rod was wonderful. He was able to remove the old cooktop, trouble shoot issues created by the previous installation, and successfully install the new cooktop. He is friendly, confident and a true professional. I will definitely call him for all future installations. Thank you Rod!

Rod was great. He discovered that that the vent from outside was too short and fixed it. He told me it wouldn't need cleaning for five years. He also looked at my dishwasher, and when he couldn't fix it, took information about to see if he could find information for me. He called the next day.

He came to give us an estimate on Saturday afternoon. Lisa, his secretary, called Monday and let us know he could install later today after hours. Gas line was installed at 5 pm Monday. Very prompt! Cost was exactly as estimated. Clean, professional installation. Even took the time to research where the most common placement was for the lines on gas stoves since we hadn't had time to purchase a new stove yet. Also said he'd come back and move it if for some reason it didn't work. I highly recommend!!!

Our job presented a challenge: no obvious way to get to the broken and horrid plastic dryer vent, which snaked under the floor and out the side of our log home. Rod spent lots of time problem-solving the access and replacement situation. He finally had to remove some ground floor ceiling for access. From there, it went smoothly. The dryer vent was replaced and everything was put back neatly the way it was. He was awesome and we were thrilled with a job well done, at a very fair price.

He found the problem (stone in the pump). A few months later the dishwasher began to leak. He came back and fixed the problem without charging me. The leak was not his fault but related to the fix he had done before.

He came to dryer vent cleaning, but noticed that the pipe was disconnected outside. He fixed the pipe and did not charge extra. He is very professional and worked very hard.

I was amazed at the responsiveness of Pro-Tech Appliance. I bought a Big Deal though Angie's list, heard from Rod immediately. Scheduled the appointment on Monday and Rod came the next day!!! Boom, boom, boom!!! Rod quickly evaluated the job, explained the process and got right on it! Very helpful and friendly! I will use Pro-Tech Appliances for other services in the future!!

i got Rod's name from my aunt, and he knew exactly what to do. He is very confident in his knowledge to repair appliances. Since he was at my house, I asked him if he could replace the ignltor for my gas Again, Rod took care of the problem. When you call Protech, Lisa will answer and she is so friendly and accommodating with the scheduling of the day and time. I would definitely recommend Pro-tech to family and friends.
