Description of Work: I have used Pro-Tech for about 10 years for washer, dryer and dishwasher repairs. Ron arrives promptly, diagnoses problems quickly and completes repairs for a very reasonable price. He is always the first man I call when these appliances need repair.

Description of Work: Having never had a drier vent cleaned before, I have no idea what is a normal cost for the service, but this was an Angie's list deal. Service was excellent. Made me wonder if the drier vent had ever been cleaned. Also looked at what sounded like a bearing problem. Learned about the change trap and also got the problem, a flat metal piece with a curve at one end functioning as a belt pulley fixed by replacing it with a real pulley, so the belt runs around a free-turning wheel rather than sliding along a metal tab. | |Wasn't expecting to be charged tax as another Angie deal provider said that tax was included in the price.

Description of Work: The technician did an awesome job cleaning the lint out of the clothes dryer and long hose that leads from the basement to the outdoor vent. I couldn't believe how much had accumulated. I feel better knowing everything is clean. They told me a thorough cleaning once every five years is a good idea. The technician was prompt, efficient, and respectful.

Description of Work: AS yet I have not been able to communicate with them. Should I call them? |I am not sure if they tried. If they did I am not sure they left a message because I have a problem with understanding messages (I wear hearing aides) they must speak SLOWLY.

Description of Work: I called to set up an appointment, and they offered to come the same day, even though it wasn't an emergency. I was using an Angie's List coupon that made the service $69, instead of $149. I had to pay an additional $32 for the part required to fix the heating element on my clothes dryer.

Description of Work: Washer was broken Called on a Sunday and someone did pick up. And was able to make an appointment for Christmas eve. Rod showed up within the time window and got right to work. He knew exactly what to do and within minutes had the broken part out and was well on his way to replacing it. I asked about some other work and was given great advice about my washer and dryer and what I should do moving forward. Honest, fast, and trustworthy. Rod was great and would call them anytime I had an appliance issue. The only thing that was a bit off was the hour of operation says Sunday hours but the company web site says they aren't open on Sunday. Either way someone answered even on a Sunday.

Description of Work: Came and did an excellent job of cleaning the vent lines for the dryer. We saw a good improvement in efficiency and appreciated his professional and polite manner. He also dropped off a recommendation list of other tradesmen in our area in a variety of specialties that we have had good experience with as referrals.
