Description of Work: The gentleman, Rod Swikehardt, arrived on time and went to work reaming and cleaning our dryer vent. He had the right tools - very importment ! and did a superb job -you could see the flushings on the laundry room floor on the inside and in the schrub bed on the outside. No more worries about dryer fire ! And then after that he gave us some tips on prevent maint. |Very good experience overall | | | | | |!

Description of Work: Pro-Tech Appliance was hired to clean out my dryer vent. This was done very well, the technician was extremely professional and provided many important tips for preventing lint buildup, etc. However, that is not all that he did! He fixed my washing machine for no additional charge! The agitator part was not functioning appropriately, so he took it apart and adjusted it so that it now works like new! I cannot recommend this company enough!

Description of Work: cleaned dryer vent from the outside and inside. he did a great job and explained things to me. showed me how to safely clean and inspect dryer vent. gave us several tips to care for the clothes and keeping dryer clean. he also looked at our dishwasher and gave me some pointers to make it work better. his help and advice was on the money.. I am beyond satisfied with the work, and will be calling pro tech appliances in the future..

Description of Work: With experience, courtesy, friendliness and speed, Rodney not only replaced a worn out roller in my dryer but also repaired my dryer door closing tab which broke years ago. | |We attempted to do some of the work ourselves beforehand, but the metal housing proved way too sharp and we needed his expertise. I appreciated his genuine concern over us getting hurt and his far superior technique at dismantling and then installing the spare parts (one we purchased, another he had after seeing our worn out roller). After watching him put the drum roller back together, I was so happy we called him. We never would have figured out how to do that without becoming even closer friends with Google and a ton of serious scratches and cuts. | |More than anything, I appreciated his demeanor. What a friendly, but knowledgeable technician who will not just perform the work, but also converse with you without ever approaching condescending. How refreshing!

I couldn't wait for him to leave as his conversation went on way too long. I want a professional to come in, do the work, explain anything that needs explaining--this I did not consider necessary--collect payment, and leave.

Description of Work: I had my dryer vent cleaned. It extends quite a ways out so it wasn't easy. The technician was very fast and thorough. He also answered several of my general dryer and washer questions. I would use him in the future for appliance repair. Extremely honest and fair.
