Overall, we were very pleased with their service. Felix (the installer) called to inform me he would be arriving in 15 minutes. When he arrived, he was very professional and explained the installation would take about 4 hours to complete. He got to work and quickly dismantled the old garage door and tracks. He was also kind enough to remove metal strapping that I had installed to brace the old door. He assembled the new door and tracks and finished right on time at the 4 hour mark. This installation went better than expected. We were pleased to see that the new garage door opens much easier than the old one. Felix mentioned that he noticed the old tracks weren't aligned properly which made the door hard to open. He provided us with the owner's manual and demonstrated how the new door operates. I was pleased to see he did an excellent job of cleaning up the work area. Based on our experience, I'm comfortable recommending Precision Garage Door Service to anyone who needs a garage door repaired or replaced. Keep up the great work!

The work went very well. The guy seemed knowledgeable and the results were excellent. They were quick to respond when I contacted them.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I was very satisfied. The person who came out was very polite, efficient and knew what he was doing. The new rollers he put in my door are very quiet. I think I got my money's worth and he was right on time for our appointment.

Contractor arrived promptly and completed the garage door servicing in a prompt and efficient manner. He explained carefully the work that he would do before starting. The work was completed in a timely and effective manner.

The service was so-so. The man they sent could've been more professional by explaining more of what he was doing instead of being energetic in his attempt to sell me things. I can't say that he wasn't nice; but the "dude" approach just isn't my cup of tea. I prefer a more outspoken and confident professional who lays out what he's going to do with pride and integrity; and looks for my acceptance as a practice of great customer service. As I watched him work, I began to have a bad feeling that something wasn't quite right. You could see the discomfort as the gentleman saw me watching him. I wasn't looking to make him uncomfortable...but I just listened to my intuition. He had trouble programming the new remote, and had to make some calls on his cellular; and then he dropped my original remote - which failed to work from that point. He later told me that I needed a new remote...in which I promptly cornered him into admitting he dropped mine on the concrete floor. He had to call his boss when I said to him "I can't see the fairness in paying for something you may have destroyed by your accident - not mine..." I was given a new remote without a charge, and my broken one was taken from me. From where I sat, it could easily be perceived that an eager new guy was sent to due the minimal work, and push for the add-on accessory sales. I was glad when it was over, and didn't feel like I got the "right man" for the job. The worst is the aftermath that occurred. About three months later I was having a problem with the garage door operation. I called and left a message with the company, and reminded them that I had a recent service done. I received a voicemail back from a manager that was less than professional. The tone of his message blew me away. It was very condescending and immature - he spoke to me in a defensive manner as if I had accused them of wrong doing. His response to my request for help was that of someone who had received a rude and offensive customer call. I played his message to my friends, and they were astonished. I had no intention of having this man come out for help after implying I was an idiot for possibly thinking that his company may owe me anything at all. I'm the customer...I didn't know what I was entitled to - that's why I asked what could be done.

Good so far. The door looks nice and Ronnie even came back to replace a door that was dented during shipping. A few weeks after installation, the door developed a loud squeak and began to rattle when it was shutting. I called Ronnie who came quickly, fixed the problem at no charge, and was extremely helpful. The thing I like the most about Ronnie is his integrity. He says he is going to arrive at a certain time and satisfies that promise. I will hire him again.

I was surprised when the business owner showed up to do the service. He explained that his technician was tied up on another job and he didn't want me to wait. Now, that is service. Ron did the work as contracted and was pleasant and professional during the visit. I was impressed and remain so. I would certainly use him again based on my experience.

He completed the overhaul in approx. 3 hours. It was very professionally done and the worker was very professional.

The price quote ,install and all the work and Ron and Josh were very professional.

Technician was on time, polite, articulate, and did the work as expected.

He arrived promptly and looked the door over. He adjusted the rollers and also did the maintenance that was mentioned in the deal that I bought. He explained everything he was going to do before he got to work and answered all my questions.

Since I have multiple garage doors, I paid a rate above the 'special', which was fair enough. The worker appeared promptly at the appointed time, speedily performed an inspection and and was quite professional. He replaced old, worn metal rollers, lubricated the mechanism and tensioned the springs on the openning mechanism. After the installer left, I noticed that the door(s) squeeked during operation. I will call back before the winter. doors function well,but the squeek needs to be checked out.

Everything I stated above is enough.

The price was right on with the work they have done. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again in the future if needed.

Service providers name was Felix and he was awesome. They even honored an expired service.

He showed up on time, finished the work in a couple of hours and did some additional work on the opener so that it works better and quieter than ever. He also installed a new bracket on one of the rollers, which fixed the cause of the spring breaking. He was efficient and courteous and the job was well done.

As soon as he arrived, the technician strongly suggested upgrading the work to a complete overhaul. I had to question him very closely, and in several ways, to understand what he would plan to do and what the cost would be. Because there were in fact other issues with the door, and I understood what he proposed, I did agree to the overhaul. I was pleased with the work, however when the provider sent an e-mail asking for a review, I called to say that I was concerned with what I felt were hard-sell tactics in selling the additional work. The owner and I had a discussion about what his technicians are supposed to do. I emphasized that I was pleased with the work, but not with the manner in which the matter evolved. The owner said that the technicians are supposed to pressure (his words) people who respond to the $99 special to upgrade the work. We had a discussion about the use of the word and quot;pressureand quot; and he stated that he intended to mean something else. In conclusion, I repeat that I am pleased with the overhaul and that my issue is with the manner of presentation. The owner said that he would speak with the technician about this matter. Because of the quality of the work done, I would provisionally recommend this provider to others with the explanation of my experience.

Awful. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service because a torsion spring on my garage door broke. I asked the person who answered the phone how much it would cost to have the spring replaced including parts and installation. The telephone representative asked me very specific questions about my door to determine the extent of the work. I was asked if the door was wood or steel. I was asked if the door was one or two cars wide. I was asked if the door was heavy. From those questions I was given an estimate. I was told that there was a $49 installation fee and that the spring would cost from $49 to $78 dollars. The maximum would be no more than $127. When the service technicians showed up and looked at the door the price immediately jumped to more than $500. They looked at every moving part of the door mechanism and decided that nearly everything needed to be replaced. When I asked about the price I was quoted over the phone they said that my spring was the most expensive spring $78 and that the $49 was due even though they did no work. When I called another company and related my experience, they immediately and without hesitation said, “You must have dealt with Precision.” The second company quoted me a price of less than half what I would have paid Precision. Precision apparently has a reputation for bait and switch phone quotes and for overcharging. This leads me to distrust the other AngiesList reviews of this company. I experience the same kind of bait and switch from a very highly rated plumber listed on AngiesList. I wonder if these bait and switch companies have discovered a means of gaming the AngiesList reviews. I will never do business with this company and I will tell as many friends and neighbors about them as I can.

I am very happy with this company. The work was performed on time, very neat job and the new door works beautifully!!!

The technician responded quickly, and performed the job quickly. He installed a lifetime warranted system - the previous springs had barely lasted 5 years. He explained the Precision Door equipment - supposedly better quality than the average. Not sure we needed such an expensive system, but it was affordable, and hopefully we won't have to face this again.

The first appointment I could get was within 24 hours of when I called. A roller came off the track and we couldn't use the garage. The workers called when they were on the way and appeared on time. Workers were very polite and professional. They showed me that I needed replacement of pulleys and rollers. Work took about 1 hour. Everything was cleaned up.

The spring on my garage door broke, and my car was stuck inside. The repair person was able to come out within a few hours of my call on a Sunday afternoon. He repaired the door quickly and was helpful in explaining what he was doing. The office staff were friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend this company, although I don't have other garage door experiences for comparison. I think it may have been slightly expensive from what I've seen but not outrageous.
