Precision Garage Door Service

My experience with Precision Door Service could not have been any better! Ron came to my home saw that the door had been serviced by Precision Door in the past 5 years or so and that the door didn't need the parts and service that I purchased. Ron then proceeded to check the door tighten up a couple loose bolts, check and lubricate spring and rollers along with the other items on a 25 point check list and told me the door works perfect and there would be no charge! Precision Door Service should get more than an A rating in my book A+ at minimum. I would recommend Precision Door to everyone I know and will be using them in the future when it is time to replace my old wooden door, honesty and great customer service is getting harder to find these days and Precision Door Service is at the top of the list in those categories! I bought the garage door maintenance special on Angie's List. From the woman on the phone to Casey who performed the service, I received excellent service. Casey was professional and offered many solutions to my needs. Thank you for such great work! You definitely have my future business.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. Then my garage door cable snapped. I called and set up an appt. mark came on time. He assessed the door and said it will only take 30 min. He finished and then I told him that I couldn't program my car to the garage. He said he would take a look at it. That took 10 seconds. Then we talked about the code box on the side off the garage. He had that coded and working I less than a minute. Thanks Mark for all your help.

Service tech Casey Sherman was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He did a great job and we are completely satisfied with the work.

The technician was at the house for about 45 minutes. He checked the door track, made sure the door opened correctly, and then replaced the old metal rollers with new nylon ones. The door now opens and closes quietly. He also offered me some advice on my door, considering we were getting some siding work done at the same time. He also made some suggestions about future work but in no way pressured me to do any work on the spot. Fantastic work over all.

The repair technician was on time, was professional and completed the work in timely manner.

It went excellent. He was prompt, professional, and stuck to the proposal thru Angie's list. He recommended the two struts to strengthen the two door panels and came back about one week later to mount the struts. We would definitely utilize the firm again in the future if needed. I would highly recommend them to any one in the future.

The estimate was over $1000 less than another company that has been a Rochester institution for many years. The owner was really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The installer, Felix, is a miracle man. He sweated out the details and made sure everything was right. This is the best experience I have had with any type contractor in Rochester. The doors look great and dress up the whole yard and house, and inside the garage is drier too.

The Precision Garage Door Service was great, however due to the age and condition of the garage door the service purchased through the coupon cannot be completed.

The door was EXTREMELY load opening and closing (it's 25 years old). Now I barely hear it open and close.

Ron responded quickly to my request to check my broken garage door opener. I asked if it could be repaired, but it was an old model by a manufacturer no longer in business. Ron offered a new replacement at a fair price, and installed it immediately. The door itself had sustained some minor damage over timne, but he didn't pressure me to replace it. He was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Felix was punctual and very thorough with his work. He even gave me suggestions on how to maintain the opener properly. He has a pleasant demeanor, too, I might add. Part of the Angie's List deal was to replace the rollers, but Felix noted that they're built-in due to the unique door design (old, that is), and so they couldn't be replaced. Therefore, the service fee was reduced to just $50 plus tax. As a result, I had to file a refund through Angie's List and pay Precision separately (normal procedure). But when I emailed Mary, the office manager, that I was ready to pay the reduced service charge, she told me they had and quot;waivedand quot; it. Unbelievable! She was very nice with me on the phone the first time she called me to confirm the appointment, but her saying I didn't have to pay for the service was just over the top! I wouldn't have had a problem if they charged me the full price of $115 because I was very satisfied with their service, but all I can say is my experience with Precision Garage Door Service has been THE BEST among the several I've gotten through Angie's List. I can vouch for their professionalism and business integrity.

Very well pleased, mechanic was on time, told me what he was doing. He made sure that I understand how it works.

Didn't try to sell me anything more than I needed, provided great advice for maintenance and future replacement ideas.

I am having a problem with the door opener not the door itself as it opens perfectly well if I hold down the control inside the garage. The door will not open with the remote so again, it is the opener not the door and I just did not need this service. I was confused about the description of the deal and so purchased it but in reading others reviewers, they had the same issue, the problem was with their opener not the door itself.

Felix came over and replaced the door. He was polite, helpful, and did the job wonderfully. He left my garage and outdoor area clean. I was only charged for the original emergency service call, and not again when the door was replaced.

Can't say enough good about Ronnie. This happened as I was leaving for work this morning. I called about 745am and he was there an hour later and the job was done by 915. Everything went great.

While here, they confirmed that my 20+ year old opener was not up to code, and I asked them about options. They installed the new opener, replaced some wires, and the new door opener is much quieter, smoother and faster. A job well done!

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE WORKER'S KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCT AND PATIENCE IN TEACHING ME TO USE THE CONTROLS AND EMERGENCY RELEASE LEVER.

They were one of only two that actually called me back. The price was not a great deal, but not too high either considering the apparent availability of these companies. The installer did the job in a reasonable time frame, but left a mess. I spent an hour picking up all of the WIRE bits and SCREWS and NAILS IN MY GARAGE AND DRIVEWAY. All in all disappointing, but its just a garage door and its done, so I'm not going to get bent out of shape about the experience.

Very good job and I will call again if needed.
