Precision Garage Door Service

Very responsive to my call for estimate, owner was onsite within a day, had it replaced as soon as my schedule would allow (3 days later), in extremely cold conditions. The owner provided my quote and did not push expensive items, simply gave me all of the pertinent details, answered my questions and let me choose what I wanted. Office staff was extremely pleasant and helpful in working with my scheduling constraints, called to confirm all appointments. In every case, they were on time (or early, waiting for me!). Very professional all the way around, but what I was also impressed with is that they did not cash my check until the owner came back to check the work and validate that I was happy with the job. That made me even happier. To be honest, you can get basically the same doors/options from many places, but their service sets them apart. I would definitely use them again for any repair or replacement.

Excellent customer service. They came here few weeks back to give me an estimate and now came back to replace the door. Both times they agreed very professionally.

When I called they were able to schedule within the week an appointment to have my broken door looked at. $50 fee to even come out to look at it, but at least they were upfront about it. Showed up on time and were able to quickly diagnose the issue. Gave me options on solutions with prices. Worked quickly and even took my expired coupon.

AWESOME!! They called ahead, came when expected, did a speedy and high-quality job! He also lubricated all the moving parts and never once tried to 'find' anything wrong or sell me something we didn't need. I DEFINITELY WOULD recommend them (and just did to my neighbors across the street :-).

I scheduled an estimate by phone, and was given a 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Saturday time slot. At approximately 8:15 I received a call from someone asking me if we had an appointment. Still wet from the shower, I noted that I had been given a 9:00-11:00 time slot. He became rude, and hung up on me. At 9:30 I called the store asking if the appointment was still scheduled. Turns out the owner was the rude person who had called me earlier. Perhaps I'm not my best at 8 a.m., but it seems to me that the manner in which this was handled by the business owner was extremely poor customer service, and a complete lack of professionalism. I am shocked at the owner's behavior, and cannot believe the other reviews were so positive. I will never use this service provider again, nor would I recommend them. Kathryn Symington Pittsford NY

Made an online appt. Was called to confirm within minutes. Ron came to fix the door and explained exactly what he was going to do, and how much it would cost. He looked at the door and saw that the rollers were questionable and it would be up to me to decide if I wanted to replace them. He did not start the work till I gave the okay to go ahead. The whole job was quick, and professional. The quality of the product was good as well. He explained what each component was and why they use that specific product. Overall, great experience.

Once they arrived, there were more issues with the garage door than expected, so the cost went up which was a little bit of a surprise for us. The service went well and I wold use them again.

It was great! I have an older home with a heavy wood manual lift garage door. it was a small single door garage and because of the small space and low ceiling - they weren't sure they could install the typical Liftmaster motor - but Mark from Precision Door figured out how to do it in the space I had thus saving me from having to go with a more expensive set-up.

Felix was very friendly and explained all that he was going to do. The first $115 resulted from an Angie's deal. The deal included track, spring and door inspection, replacing the rollers/bearings, inspecting electric opener and lubricating all moving parts. The remaining $100 was to replace all the door hinges and balance the door which was very noisy before he did the work. Now we can't hear it at all.

Technician was punctual and didn't take long at all to finish the job. The garage door opens and closes like it should now. Before the tune up it would stop sometimes before it was completely open.

Following installation of the door initially, a few times a week, the door would only go up partway and then stop. As a result it took several tries to get the garage door open all the way. The tune-up solved the problem and the door has been working perfectly since.I also asked about replacement of a door panel that had been dented by a neighborhood child with their bicycle, although it seemed to be fine and didn't affect the operation of the door. I was told that Precision Garage Door could replace the panel and what the approximate cost would be, but I was advised that it didn't seem to need replacement. So he turned down a sale in favor of honesty and that's worth a lot.

Fast, courteous and knowledgeable .

Ron was on time and answered several questions I had concerning my garage door and maintenance of our garage door opener. In the past, I have lubricated the various moving parts of our door regularly, however Ron showed me several other areas to lubricate that I was unaware of. He was also forthcoming with answers about adjusting our garage door opened due to problems we had last winter with the door not closing. He worked quickly and didn't waste my time with unnecessary or lengthy answers to questions. He did an excellent job and I certainly recommend his service

Installer was knowledgable, punctual and did a more than satisfactory job repairing our garage door. The work was done 4 months ago. I think that it was done the day after I called. I haven't had a single issue since then.

Casey initially thought we required a whole new garage door system, but then noticed our springs were shot. He worked timely and efficiently on this, the hottest day of the year so far. It was an after hours 911 call so we expected the service fee. Casey was polite, professional and thorough.

They are very popular. He did the job and I was very pleased with them. They were professional and I liked the quality of the door. They were kind.
