I contacted Paris HVAC to get a quote as a result of their newspaper promotional ad and your Angie's List rating. Ed Diamond met with us and (over) we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We chose Paris HVAC versus three other vendors because of Ed and they also had the best price for their highly rated system. Ed also wast the leader of the installation team and the owner, Andy Paris, stopped by to assure our satisfaction.

In half a day. the 3 member team replaced our furnace, AC & thermostat. They did a great job hiding the furnace intake & exhaust pipes above the ceiling panels. They were very neat & workmanship was excellent.

Blake did an excellent job presenting options, describing why, and explaining rebates, and the estimate. Ed, Tony, Chris and Andy had the old systems out and all new in 5 hours, clean up was great.

Responded quickly to service call request. They quickly found problem the repair was expensive, but they recommended new furnace. After removal of old system the found additional problems. We made a great cronies.

Paris Heating and Cooling has done work for us before as routine maintenance and the service has always been very prompt. On July 21st, our furnace decided to just quit in the evening. I called the office to see if there was anyway to get on their schedule and I knew before making the call that it was going to be a challenge being this has been the warmest and driest summer that I can remember. I was called back the following morning and an appointment was set up for the following day. Mike came over the house and explained my options and inspected the system and checked the air conditioner. I was told that I would need a new furnace to run the A/C. I was not prepared for that but at the same time I was treated like a VIP customer. Mike made some phone calls, ordered material and my entire system was installed and running by 3pm that afternoon. Although I was not prepared for a surprise of replacing a furnace "financially", I was actually EXTREMELY pleased coming home to a brand new system. My furnace and A/C is so quite and the home actually feels more comfortable. My wife Maria and I thank Andy, Mike, Ed and the entire staff for everything you did. it's amazing when you get a quality job done it doesn't make it seem like the unexpected expense is a concern. Overall I had a great experience with the team from Paris Heating and Cooling. Starting with Danielle in the office and continuing on to Ed who came out to assess the issues we were having. Ed arrived on time for the appointment, listened to my concerns/input and was able to quickly identify the root cause of several issues that we were having, offer recommendations and he was able to explain why his recommendations would solve the issues we were experiencing. We needed a new A/C system, and we also opted to go with two recommendation that he made which were optional. We opted to add a whole house air purifier, since we have seasonal allergies AND because I indicated to him that I had concerns about how standard furnace filters with a high MERV value constrict the airflow through the system, therefore he recommended an air purifier because it achieves a MERV 13 rating while offering a vastly improved filter life and air flow performance over traditional furnace filters. The second recommendation we opted for was a completely new (50% larger) cold air drop to our furnace/AC system. I explained to Ed that the rooms furthest away from the unit were running roughly 5-10 degrees hotter in the summer, and 5-10 degrees cooler in the winter. Without hesitation Ed pointed out that for the size of our house/system the original cold air drop installed with the furnace was too small, thus making it difficult for the system to effectively circulate air through the house. Both of these recommendations impacted the overall cost of the job by less than 10%, and had no impact on the timeline. On the day of the job Ed arrived with two other gentlemen, Tony and Chris. All three were very professional, willing to answer any questions and overall extremely pleasant to be around. Since the new cold air drop was going to be larger than the old one I expressed concerns it would limit access into one area of the basement, Ed and Tony listened to me and found a way to move the humidifier which in the end gave us more access! The team worked quickly and with minimal impact to our home, in fact I was able to take calls and work from home while they were there. Overall they finished in just under three hours and instructed me on how to use the new system as well as on any maintenance items. The noticed someone else had installed the drain for the humidifier in the wrong spot (blocking the access panels to the furnace) and that the supply line was corroded. They replaced both of these and the element in the humidifier and did not charge me. On the way out the door they gave me several pointers for basic PM on the furnace, hot water heater, humidifier, A/C and a few other pieces, all told taking about another 15 minutes with me. The new A/C system works perfectly and our house is not only more comfortable, but Ed was SPOT ON with his recommendation to put in a larger cold air drop. The house is now an even temperature and our bedroom which was always running 5-10 degrees hotter in the summer, is now the same temp as the rest of the house. I am very impressed with the entire team at Paris Heating and Cooling, they did not just install and A/C system, they worked with me to solve a problem we were having, and did so at a minimal expense. I would highly recommend Paris Heating and Cooling to anyone.

Ed, the installation manager, performed the installation of the new equipment. His arrival was on time to begin the job. After a brief discussion regarding the orientation of the furnace and the location of the intake and exhaust pipes, he and his crew began the disassembly of the old system. After approximately 8 hours the new system was installed and running. Ed then gave us a walk through and demonstration of the system which was very informative. At this time, we have used the air conditioning system most every day with good results. There was one cool day that we were able to heat the house with the heat pump with success. Although we will enjoy the summer while its here, it will be interesting to see how the heat pump and furnace will heat the house. Overall we are happy with Paris Heating and Cooling and would recommend them.
