Response from Monroe Rochester Residential
[Member Name]: I came to your house around Thanksgiving 2013, to give you your Angie's Roof Tune Up package. I caulked all flashings, all pipe boots, all openings, checked your roof with a fine tooth comb. Took pictures as you stood in the back yard watching me. I came down and showed you the pictures and gave you a full evaluation of the problems of your roof and how your multi layer roof was in disrepair of any tune up package, but I did it for your anyhow. I told you what was more important was a scouting report on your roof and that in my opinion this roof would have a hard time surviving the winter. You scoffed at my opinion and after spending an hour and a half with you on advising you about the troubles and a good battle plan to make this roof right, you accused me of trying to do nothing more of selling you a roof after I told you this tune up package is not what your roof needs to survive the winter. So at the end of April 2014, after the worst Rochester winter in 20 years, you give me a poor Angie's list review because your roof leaked in the winter just like I told you it was definitely going to do so. You also advised me as I called you back to address your concern that you just had a new roof put on in April of 2014 because you were due to have a new roof. So therefore, I must suffer a poor Angie's list review from an Angie's list member that I satisfied fully through my Angie's list roof tune up and over an hour of giving you an education on how this roof will leak in the winter. You told me you had a new roof done in April of 2014. So therefore it is my fault that your badly damaged, outdated roof did not last the winter like I told you it wouldn't. You proved to me that you will not need a new roof, by installing a new roof! Seems to prove my point that I was trying to advise you correctly. Once again, I need to start a web site that rates the understanding ability of potential clients you try to help and they just can't comprehend themselves.
