Wonderfully! Mike and crew are very professional. This was not an easy job. There was a possibility that the dead short was in a recently installed finished ceiling. Mike worked in a methodical manor to eliminate all possibilities and once he was sure it was in the ceiling he narrowed down the area to within ~ 1 foot of where the short was, worked with the carpenter to preserve the ceiling, and resolved the issue. It was great work! Throughout the process he kept me informed of what he was doing and what he learned. Good communication. Mike also corrected a few issues that were identified and just recently was back to install a new outdoor light and plug outside. Time spent and pricing were appropriate for the work done and his expertise.

Superbly- we were getting our house ready to sell and needed the light to work- and now it does. I heartily recommend Mike Williams!

We highly recommend Mike & his crew. They worked very, very hard to get our project completed & it was very frustrating at times for them. The new box installation was fairly strait forward, just a lot of old wiring in our 1964 split level to decipher! The real challenges started with running conduit from one end of the house out to our pool. In heat & humidity,they had to trench through some nasty roots and patio blocks. Through it all, Mike was professional & courteous. Our bill was a bit higher than estimated, but that was due to unforeseen extra work. Totally reasonable.

Mike came out to the house quickly. He was able to work with me on getting the breaker fixed, even though it was an older panel. Price was more than reasonable. Highly recommend.

Mike and his two sons/apprentices arrived at my home at the agreed-upon time. All three were pleasant and polite, and got to work right away. They performed all the work listed above in roughly 4.5 hours, and came equipped with all of the parts necessary to finish the job. They cleaned up thoroughly after the work was finished. I genuinely enjoyed having them in my home, and I plan to engage Mike's services again in the near future.

Mike Williams is exactly what I look for when I seek assistance with our 100-year-old historic cottage. He explains what he's going to do in a way I can understand without talking down (I'm female and elderly). He's very, very competent. He's reliable -- he comes when he says he will, and does what he said he'd do. He's also a pleasant fellow to interact with, and so is the woman who answers the phone (who I believe is his wife). This is Mike Williams's second job for us and he's won my trust. The next time we have an electrical problem, Mike will be the person I call.

Actually came 2 days early, with our concurrence. Job went exactly as projected. We had agreed on a 32 space panel but he installed a 24. I did not notice this but he called later in the day to tell me he was going to reimburse the difference, which he did the next day. Very trustworthy.

Mike came by on Jan 10th our house to provide a quote on replacement of light sources and additional wiring to our home. He explained what was possible and what was not in an striaght forward way. A detailed quote that outlined each step was provided - perfectly. We agreed on a time frame to start/finish the project which was upheld - he didn't start then 'go way' to work on other projects. he stuck with it. Only for an 1.5 hrs he had an emergency call to attend to which was fine with us. In the end we got what we needed and are very satisfied. Working within an "old home" should only be done by people who understand tricks of the trade. Knowing this, Mike (and his star team) was able to do the work with as little disruption to the home. In the end, we look forward to work with Mike on more Lighting projects later this year.

Amazing. He was very professional and very nice. He showed up on time and quickly got to work. He even looked at basic no-cost issues that could cause the problem and saved me money. I will recommend him to anyone that is looking for electrical services. He is in my contact list already for future issues.

Called Mike on 12/16/15 around 11:30 a.m. he was on his lunch hour. He responded about 5 minutes later I explained the problem and he had a job that he was on his way to but he let me know that if it was alright with me he would call me when he was finished and if it wasn't to late he would swing by. Called me at 2:00pm and was here by 2:30. He was very likeable and very professional and he had his son along as a helper a very nice young man. I would definitely reccomend Mike to my family and friends and look forward to doing business with him again.

I called Mike when 3 problems developed simultaneously on what I thought might be the same circuit in our 100-year-old home -- 1) we lost electricity in an upstairs bathroom (I wasn't able to activate the reset button on the outlet, and was afraid to push a tool into it), 2) I noticed burn marks on an extension cord in a bedroom down the hall; and 3) when I plugged a different extension cord into the electrical strip on a second bedroom outlet, it sizzled and smoked. These things made me wonder if we might be in danger of a brewing house fire. Mike 1) was able to activate the reset button (he said the test button should be operated once/month or it gets stiff -- who knew?); 2) replaced the bedroom outlet (he said burning occurs when an outlet gets old and loose, and doesn't hold the plug securely) and he tested the wiring in that outlet and determined it was fine; and 3) suggested replacing the electrical strip. (I had already replaced the extension cord that smoked, but hadn't thought to replace the electrical strip.) On the basis of these things, Mike felt it wasn't necessary to test all the wiring in the whole house. In addition, at his own discretion, Mike checked outside for problems and indeed found some issues I was unaware of relating to work the previous owner had left unfinished, as well as fraying insulation on wiring along the roof. He took photos of everything so he could show me the problems in detail. We've already scheduled a return visit so he can attend to these issues. Mike was prompt (on 'my' Saturday morning, as he was running 15 minutes behind schedule, he called ahead to let me know). He was professional, obviously extremely competent, and takes pride in his work. His price was reasonable, especially so for the peace of mind I now feel in putting the potential danger of house fire to rest.

Mike was extremely courteous and professional. He listened to what the problem was, and my explanation of my thoughts without any condescension. I will choose him again in the future for any electrical needs.

Mike was able to do the work before we moved in which was greatly appreciated. He almost always answered his phone and preformed all work in a timely and professional manner. He did an overview of our electrical box and gave recommendations. I would definitely use him again in the future.

Re-wired light switches in hallway, installed 14 can lights, ceiling fan, bathroom fan switch. Fixed GFCI outlets throughout my hosue. Plus fixed a mis-venting bathroom fan and detected structural flaws in my attic rafters. Terrific service, excellent workmanship.

Highly recommend Mr. Williams. He is friendly, professional, prompt, and efficient. He explained what he was doing and why. Job well done. Price was reasonable. Garage door opens now with press of the button. Just what we needed. Requested his business card. We will call him again.

This is the second time Mike has been to the house and, like last time, I was extremely pleased with the service and outcome of his work. Mike is a true professional and craftsman. The new outlet was tricky, as the house was built in 1927, but Mike figured out a way. The outlet location improves the functionality of the kitchen significantly. The light fixture looks great, as does the ceiling fan.

They took my contact information and I was told I would receive a call back to schedule the estimate. I never received any further communication.

Mike was punctual, professional, did terrific work, and was extremely generous/flexible in determining final amount due. Recommended enthusiastically!

After an electrical storm, we had multiple breakers that would not reset, some can lights that wouldn't turn on despite the circuits being on, and two burnt power strips. Mike determined the storm had burnt out the 3-way dimmer switches and replaced those with 3-way switches. His troubleshooting uncovered a third burnt power strip that was preventing a breaker from resetting and replaced the outlet with a new GCFI outlet. At my wife's request (because she smelled something funny), Mike also replaced a regular outlet in our hallway. He took the time to explain what to expect over the next few years with how many of our outlets are wired, what the new codes for wiring them are, and answered our questions regarding whole house circuit breakers. Mike is very friendly, courteous, and professional... even with two little boys and 3 dogs nosing around him while he worked. I would most certainly call Mike for any other electrical work we may need to have done.

Mike arrived in the morning. His son Thomas came to assist. He installed a new ground rod and ran the new cable into the house. Next He documented all the circuits for transfer to the new panel. Turned the power off and removed the electric meter to disconnect the power to the feed cable to the old box. He ran a new ground wire from the panel location to the water pipe where it entered the house. He removed the wires from the old panel and then removed the panel itself. Installed the new panel and installed the wires in the new panel. The work was neat and orderly. I appreciated Mikes respectful and informative conversation. The work was completed early after noon.

He left saying he would be doing some checking with RGE and codes, gave me an "about cost" and said I would be hearing from him with the estimate. I never heard back from him. I would have appreciated an e-mail from him telling me he couldn't do the job or whatever the reason . . . . clearly he does not like challenges. Fortunately, I had a number of estimates lined up, others came and not one of them told me that it would be difficult or challenging. All others responded with an estimate and am happy with whom I hired!
