Description of Work: Isaac did an energy home audit. Based upon the findings, I had them replace ducts in the attic and blow in additional insulation as well as the basement. They also put in glass block windows in the basement and replaced the recessed lights in the kitchen with LED lights. They checked exhaust fans and dryer vents. All work was done in a very professional manner and workers cleaned up after themselves very well, too. When in finally got cold in December I immediately noticed a big difference in my home as I was able to keep my heat set at 70 rather than 78 and was comfortable.

Description of Work: Sunday night our water heater decided to up and die. Water was coming out at the bottom and it was just my daughter, 3 year old grandson and myself at home. We weren't sure how to turn of the water or what to do next. Isaac immediately came to mind so the next morning I called to get a new water heater. The people I talked to on the phone were all excellent and Ben Cutulle the Residential Project Manager came to our home and put me at ease and explained everything I needed to know. He even made sure we would have a new water heater that day. The Installer, Cheyenne Torres, was excellent. A real "work horse". He did an amazing job and the work done was perfect. At the end he also went over what they had done and told me all about the new heater and asked if I had any other questions. He let me know that Isaac would be there to answer questions and help us with any future needs. I was truly pleased with my service - they were A1.

Description of Work: I purchased the Gold Plan for 2 years for my furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. I called Isaac to clean and check my furnace and air conditioner. Brad and Ernest were the technicians. Brad called me to inform me that they would be at my home in 25 minutes. The window was from 8 to 11 am. Brad explained all the programs and emailed me a copy of what he did and my purchase plan. I would highly recommend Isaac Heating and I already have.

Description of Work: This guy was so rude and nasty I'd never, ever let them set one toe in my house again. I had to insist repeatedly that he leave. He came to the door with a bad attitude/mood and it got worse by the minute till I kicked him out.

This is a duplication of a review at was submitted late last year (Review was submitted under our Avon location). I feel that this should be removed from our records. This was my response to that review: Company Response: Dear Angie's List Member, I reviewed both service records from our visits this past summer and I would like to clear a few things up for the record on Angie's List. First, the technician who responded to the first call found the unit completely frozen solid and that the filter was clogged, not allowing airflow across the coil. There was a tremendous amount of dirt and hair on the filter due to the numerous cats present in the basement. He quoted you a charge to defrost the coil which would have allowed him to perform additional diagnostics, but you refused this service. He turned the unit off to prevent further damage and set the fan to run continuously to thaw the coil. You signed off on this ticket and paid him for the service fee of $89 and an agreement to cover media filter replacements for 2 years. The second technician arrived several days later to respond to a "no A/C" situation, but was not able to stay in the basement for any period of time due to the odor of the cat urine and litter boxes. He informed you of this and you became angry and called our office to enter a complaint. I apologize that this situation occurred but we take the health and security of our employees very seriously and do not require them to perform their duties in either unsafe environments, or where they cannot perform their duties completely due to extenuating circumstances. We would be happy to respond to the original service request, but the situation in the basement must be rectified first.
