Isaac was great from the initial quote to the final service. The gentleman that came out to do the bid was low pressure, and overall helpful. Some of the other quotes I got from other companies went out of their way to bad mouth their competitors, but Isaac was professional. The contractor who installed our new high efficiency furnace was on time and a genuinely nice guy. Another service tech came over to help remove the old unit and the manager stopped in later to check on progress and help install our new thermostate. I was impressed with how the who program went. Definetly recommend them.

Isaac was prompt and on time for the estimate and the installation. We had 3 companies come out and their estimate was one of the lower ones we saw. During the installation, the tech accidently cut through a wire for our security system, which cost $140 to fix. Isaac was very fast to reimburse us, and were very apologetic for the mishap. Over all, we were very pleased with the instalation and the customer service from Isaac, and would definately use them again.

The technician called to see if it was ok to start early. He was prompt, professional, and very willing to answer questions.

Overall my experience with Isaac was very positive from start to finish. It took several meetings with the field rep Steve Mazza to engineer the job as there were some challenges to running the duct work in this 1900's farmhouse. But after we reached a consensus on the best way to proceed with the project, they met my schedule for completion and finished the job half a day early. There were a couple of times during the installation process where we had to stop and make some decisions on overcoming some obstacles, but we reached them quickly and the installation came out great. I was really happy with how quiet the furnace runs and am happy with the new location for the water heater that Isaac suggested.

I had decided to try Isaac because of their good reviews. The service person arrived promptly at specified time and performed the clean and check. He also gave me a hard sell to purchase an annual service contract. I told him that he could leave the information with me and I would get back to him about it, but he continued to pressure me. Is he on commission? It seemed that he really wanted me to sign on before he left. Moreover the price for the clean and check service was much higher than I have paid previously with another company.

We are very pleased. The exact motor is no longer available, so the tech used the closest match, and adjusted the motor mountings accordingly. He was very professional and pleasant, even though he spent several hours working crouched in the close quarters of the attic on a warm day (NOT a fun place to be). He explained each step of the repair (my husband loves all things mechanical, so was up there with him) and left the decision of whether to replace the motor or not completely up to us. It could have lasted awhile longer, but as long as he was there already, we opted for replacement (it had been making noise for awhile, and he explained the hows and whys in terms of its mechanics). The technician was gracious about the change in scope of the job, and was by no means pushing one way or the other. He was very thorough, and we were both impressed with his knowledge and skill. Several times later in the day, while running the now-quiet whole house fan (SUCH a good cooling option!) we commented to one another "gosh, that repairman was really GOOD!".

Our furnace had been dying for the past year. Isaac was always available within just a few hours to come assess the situation and try to keep it going. When it eventually died and would have required a $700 part to get it back into action, we opted to just get a new one. They had it installed and running for us within 24 hours. Although we didn't take them up on the offer, they even offered to loan us electric heaters to keep warm until then. Our A/C died this past summer, and we planned to replace it when we replaced the furnace. There hadn't been enough room for the new coils above our old furnace. Although the A/C wasn't installed at the same time as our emergency furnace installation, we were able to get the discount for purchasing them together. There were 5 people who assisted us, including the initial repair rep, sales rep and the installation crew. Every one of them was polite, professional and friendly. They took great care not to damage my carpet, walls or any other part of my home when they moved the equipment.

They were fine. They were very professional, they were there when they said they were going to be and they came out when the old heater went out at 2 a.m.

I have used Issac Heating & Air Conditioning for the all eight years that I have owned this house. They are very punctual, very professional and do quality work. The last time when they came, most of the cost was covered under their contract but it cost me another $500 because it's an old radiator water system and they had to drain it and repair or replace a piece of pipe in it. I would give them A's on everything and absolutely use them in future.

I have had a good experience with them. They did everything that they promised that they would do. They were efficient and friendly about completing their work and did it at a fair price.

During a home inspection, it was found that the heat exchanger was cracked and that the water heater was over 10 years old. Both needed to be replaced. I called Isaac off a recommendation and had a sales rep to the house before taking possession of the home. The salesman gave me a brochure, with amounts of my choices. He was very friendly and informative. I emailed the salesman about 10 days before I was to take possession to set up an installation date. The salesman did not get back with me timely, he did not have any information written down about the estimate he gave me. He was hard to get a hold of, I called the company and tried to get a different salesperson and the woman I spoke with got involved and got me nowhere after a half a day. Finally, I agreed to have the salesman come BACK out to the house to give me an actual estimate. He did come out, he gave me options and informed me of more rebates and how I could afford to upgrade. That the rebate would be immediate, all I would have to do is take my receipt to my utility company and I would walk out with a check. I agreed to upgrade. He did give me $100 off for all the trouble. I had the installation done; the techs were great, friendly, clean and professional. I have to say; the placement of the direct vent is unfortunate being next to my patio and is very noisy and the cap is not very attractive. I am happy so far, being summer, I have not had to use the furnace much but the water heater is great. As for the duct cleaning, it was a 7 hours deal; but I believe they are clean. In the end, the rebate is not as easy as the salesman promised. Like every other rebate in life, it takes 4-8 weeks to get. Since having the system in the house for almost two years I have had no issues with the furnace, it is great. I have had tech's out for a leak going into the water heater and the service was great. The tech actually located a small gas leak during the repair and fixed it as well. I am very happy with Issac and there Gold Seal of Security Protection plan as I did not pay anything for the repairs and get a free yearly check up on my systems.

The represenative was 10 minutes late, but called 20 minutes ahead to let me know that he was running behind. He got right to work and took my system through a full inspection. He also took the time to explain what I can do to keep my system efficient and he made some recommendations such as laying gravel under my AC unit because it had been sinking into the ground. He also explained the gold and silver service programs to me, but did not try too hard to sell them to me. However, he did a very good job explaining the features and benefits of each program and he also provided me with a quick, on-the-spot cost analysis. I would use Isaac again and I plan to use them for my all of my service and maintenance needs.

All around they are excellent. Responded to an emergency call on a Sunday. They offer Gold Seal Protection (a maintenance agreement) so that you are fully covered. The technicians are prompt and professional.

Saturday morning, I switched the thermostat to "Heat" and "Fan," but the vents blew only cold air. I called Isaac's Heating & A/C and spoke to an operator who forwarded my information to the service team. She also repeated all of my contact information to confirm its accuracy, which was a nice touch. Within five minutes, I received a call from a service representative who scheduled an appointment for that very afternoon. (Their regular, non-emergency hours extend from 7am to 7pm Monday through Saturday, so I was not worried about paying for overtime). The repairman arrived exactly on schedule, investigated the thermostat and furnace, and determined that my problem involved the latch on the door protecting the furnace's burners. The latch had become disfigured over time, tricking the furnace into thinking the door was open and preventing the burners from firing. This was an easy fix. The repairman also took the time to set my humidistat and teach me how to use it for my first winter in my new home. Additionally, the repairman convinced me that my furnace was in desperate need of cleaning. To lessen the impact of this additional expense, he encouraged me to sign a two-year Gold Seal Agreement, which includes a second furnace cleaning in 2009 and on going maintenance support. Yes, you could say that he succeeded in upselling me, but considering the fact that I've already had one problem with my furnace this year, I don't mind buying a little peace of mind. Overall, a good experience. The whole staff was friendly, patient and willing to explain things as they went along. I will definitely use this company again.

They showed up on time and gave our heating system a top to bottom check. As other reviews have written, they are not the cheapest service in the area, but they have a great reputation. A number of friends have also had good experiences with them.

We ordered gas fireplace logs through Isaac and they installed them with our pre-existing gas hookup. Isaac did a great job explaining the different types of logs and their cost. We're very happy with what we had installed. Isaac even came out for a follow up visit when our gas pilot light wasn't working properly. They take real pride in their work. Their price was excellent. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to install a gas fireplace.

I was very happy with the encounter with the representative. He was professional and helpful, although there was some pressure to make the sale.

My air conditioner broke down during the hottest weekend of the summer. I contacted Isaac immediately for I read great reports on Angie's List as well as what appears to be genuine follow-ups from the company president. While it did take a few days to get the sales rep to my location (I don't blame the company as I am sure that they were inundated with calls on this weekend), once the initial sales call was completed the unit was delivered as described and the crew which installed the unit was phenomenal, even going so far as to replace the shoddy duct work which the previous company who installed my furnace put in without charging more. Looking forward to using the company again for future household improvements.
