The workers were very courteous and easy to work with. They got here pretty quickly. It was in the middle of wintertime and it was a pretty tough winter around here. Once they got here they came in and got the job done pretty quick. I would tell a friend to give them a call and I thought they did an overall good job. I did not have any problem with the price, it just took a little time to get them scheduled.

We started to have a problem with our 8 year old hot water heater. The pilot was not staying all of the time. Then one weekend, I could not light the pilot. We called AP Plumbing first because they did not charge extra for emergency services. The service technician said that the ignition switch was bad as well as the gas regulator. To replace these would cost over $400.00. We had no hot water for the rest of that day. Sunday morning, I decided to try everything again and I was able to get the pilot to light and stay on. We had water again. Therefore, on Monday morning I contacted Isaac because they do such a great job with our Heating and air conditioning. They came right out and replaced the tank at my request. The service tech did an outstanding job as typical of the service techs at Isaac. Ben was very professional, friendly, and his work was great. Upon completion, everything was cleaned up, checked for gas leaks, and better than before. He even re-lit the pilots on our gas fireplaces that went out while the gas was shut off. I don't know why I did not call them first, but I certainly learned my lesson.

Requested quotes from four well known local HVAC contractors and chose ISAAC based on the confidence instilled by their sales representative, the size of their service fleet, and reviews read on Angie's List. Our ISAAC experience turned out to be extremely good. It was like a team of well coordinated experts were assigned just to us; sales, finance, installation and quality control. The sales rep was excellent. He listened to what was important to us and made a through assessment of what would be needed to meet our home heating requirements. We were very pleased with his familiarity with their line of products as well as various installation options. He also brought to our attention, then explained, the various New York State energy programs that would save us money. To our relief, we were told our existing A/C system did not need to be replaced and duct work would be custom made to adapt the new furnace. ISAAC's finance department took care of processing all the forms that were needed by the NYSERDA programs to get low interest rate financing and the available energy incentives. That eliminated a lot of frustration and worry over us getting the paper work filled out correctly. The installation crew was great and was lead by a really experienced technician. We were pleased that we were kept abreast if there were any changes or new options available during the installation. They all made us feel welcome when we wanted to watch their progress. The quality of the installation exceeded our expectations. We were pleased that we were not asked to sign off on the job until a thorough final inspection of the installation was scheduled and completed to ISAAC's and our satisfaction.

The guy who came, Steve Mitchel, was very good. He was very knowledgeable. I called at 3pm and he was out before 6pm as promised. He knew what he was doing and was easy to talk to. They have always been on time and have always given me honest answers. They installed a furnace for me in September 2014.

I contacted Isaac after having another company fumble around for three days and then no call no show when it was time to do the work. The same day I called a tech came out and did all the work in one day. He was on time and extremely polite and professional. He walked me through each an every step he took. What truly amazed me was that he wrote everything he did down. Even the smallest detail in case someone else had to work on the boiler in the future. I will use Isaac in the future and will let everyone I know and meet who need work done what a great company they are.

I called them approx. 5pm and they came by 8pm. Great service. Nick did a great job cleaning the flame sensor(cause of malfunction) and get everything a-ok. I need to mention this Trane gas furnace is only 4 years old and under maintenance contract by Airquip. But Airquip did not do the maintenance they are supposed to do and I paid them for. So, I am happy with Isaac now.

Expensive yet job was rushed. The gas pipes had leaks everywhere I discovered this year 6 years later we had a leaking gas union and three other bad gas connections on the new pipes they installed to the new furnaces. they had been leaking a rather large amount for 6 years! The exhaust pipes for the high efficiency furnace i had discovered were leaking as wel. It turned out pipes werent glued at a critical joint so water was dripping all down the furnace. I repaired the pvc myself, years ago during an inspection, as I was in a rush to get the job done and had the right glue. I was originally happy with the speed of the service for years until we discovered the reason the gas company shut my gas off this winter was that they discovered a rather large leak when RG&E converted the gas mains. Issac cost my tenants a good bit on the 6 year gas leak alone there seemed to be a gas smell in the kitchen but we could never find the source. Had I paid to do the rush work on those furnace pipes separately the cost of the gas line repairs come to several hundred. I didnt even call and complain as it was 1am when we discovered where the leaks were and at that point i just needed the gas on in the morning as my pipes and tenants were getting cold and the job was being done by a third party for 1,600,00 to redope and test the pipes in the whole house. This furnace job was done 6 going on 7 years ago but the job was t touched by anyone since. I really hope and expect the furnace installers have improved attention to detail. Gas and exhaust leaks are serious and expensive I am sure they would have fixed them had I pushed the Issue, but I didnt want to waste more time then I had testing every gas line in the house to find the leaks and I already had the job hired out.

The day prior to installation, the office called to give an hour window of arrival and the names of the technicians. The Installers arrived 10 minutes early. Installation generally went according to plan. One item was not completed but I do not know if that was overlooked by the Installers or did not get transferred from the sales order to work order but that item was later corrected within a day of my notifying the salesperson of the issue. The installation team cleaned up almost all of their work. I did find a few spots that they missed, however -- mostly dust and a couple of loose screws. They were courteous and professional at all times.

They are definitely an A+ and I rarely give those out.

The service team spent HOURS trying to help us. Our broken boiler is a complex, high-efficiency piece of equipment and Isaac went above and beyond cleaning and reassembling the boiler, then searching for a replacement part that Isaac didn't carry. They also checked our gas pipes, found some small leaks and replaced the faulty pipes. They explained every step, worked for hours, and made extraordinary efforts to find the safest and most reliable solution to the problem while also trying to protect us from a tremendous expense.

They were amazing! I initially had them come out to complete a repair on my furnace when it had stopped working. They have been servicing my furnace system for about four years. After another company serviced my air conditioner and replaced a part, my unit stopped working. The other company suggested over $600 in repairs and I called out Isaac Heating and Air to look at the unit. They explained that since the system was installed in 1985, it was not worth the cost in more repairs and instead, install a new unit. They were able to give me a great deal and even refund me for the cost of the part that I paid to the other company. They completed the installation in one day. Their technicians are very knowledgeable. The installer was very young, but I think that he knew more than men twice he age didn’t even know. He even found a gas leak in my basement that I didn’t even know about. He went above and beyond and I am very happy with their service.

Everything went great, from the sale to the installation. Steve Mazza came up with a quote for equipment that was right for my house size (I did my own Manual J, so already had an idea of what I needed). Other quotes I got were for furnaces and A/C units that were way too large. When installation day came around, the installers (Steve and Bud) called to give me an ETA, and they showed up right on time. They were very professional and hard-working, and obviously knew what they were doing. When they were done and showed me the completed furnace installation, I was honestly amazed by their craftsmanship -- the old furnace looked like it had been thrown together compared to their work. I actually took photos of it to show my friends. Same thing with the air conditioning. Isaac was not the cheapest, but it also wasn't the most expensive quote I got. Given the quality of the equipment and especially the installation, I think I got the best value possible. I'm very glad I chose Isaac.

They were fast and efficient. We are going to use them again if we need anything.

Cost was for the part ($283) plus the service call ($100) which was higher than normal because the water heater was diagnosed on a Saturday night. Cost also included the cleaning and maintenance at my option ($69) of the hot water heater with the newly replaced part. The night of 4/29, soon after all work was completed, I went downstairs to find water pouring out of the relief valve of the hot water heater. Apparently the relief valve was checked and manipulated as part of the earlier maintenance, then it had not reseated properly and failed. Had it not been touched (I explained my experience to the repairmen before they started the maintenance), it would not have failed - I have experience with this issue because it happened to me when the heater was only 3 years old. It was after midnight when the next repair person came and was kind enough to offer me an $81 1-year service contract to cover the repair plus 1-year of coverage. So it was another $81 on top of the $450 already spent. I felt the cost of the igniter part was too high, and the repair of the failure caused by the first repairmen should have been at no cost. Heater has been working perfectly since the valve repair 1 month ago. It should be noted that - If I had an Isaac service plan, all would have been covered at no cost. I purchased a repair plan for rest of my equipment at this time. The repairmen were always professional and competent and explained everything to me.

They knew what they were doing and they stuck to their price.

We've used Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. several times to repair both our heating and air conditioning systems and we've had no problems with them. They're prices are competitive. They may be a little higher than others. Their quality of work is excellent. They're prompt and reliable. They're courteous and clean up after themselves. They're also very responsive.

The estimate was inconsistent and confusing in equipment and performance.

I have been with this company for over ten years. I wouldn't call anyone else. They are always nice, polite and punctual and do a very thorough job and they always call you and tell you exactly what time they will arrive at your home.

We went with Isaac after getting several quotes for a new furnace, central a/c and humidifier about 13 or 14 years ago and they're the only folks we call for maintenance and service. From the initial phone call to schedule an appointment through completion of the work - everyone - every time - at Isaac has always been professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The technician calls before arriving, arrives within the scheduled appointment time block, is able to determine the problem quickly and gives a reliable estimation of the time needed for the repair/service so I can plan the rest of my day. He thoroughly explains what's going on and what he recommends to fix the problem. He completely cleans his work area when finished. Their work is always so good that we don't call anyone else.

Came home from vacation to find furnace not working. Called answering service at 9 pm to report the problem. Within 20 mins we had an appointment set up. Service team called 30 mins before arriving at our house so I could meet them. This worked perfectly. Service team was polite, highly knowledgeable, efficient and clean. All the important things I look for in a contractor. They exceeded our expectations. We actually signed up for their Gold Service because of our confidence in the company. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the company and WILL use again

After about 30 years in our home, we decided to have the air ducts cleaned as we could guess from what was visible on the return air vents, what was beyond. The Isaac representative arrived as promised, took most of the day to do a thorough job, and left the house clean. She showed me some of what had been removed and I am very glad I had the cleaning done. All my interactions with Isaac have been positive.

Isaac had someone out within a couple hours of calling about the furnace not working correctly. The employee, Brad, did everything he could to help us fix the 22-year old furnace. He even called to see if there was a lifetime warranty that was still in effect. Brad also found 3 gas leaks and also carbon dioxide leaking from the furnace. When it was finally realized that the old furnace needed to be replaced, Brad called a salesman to talk with us. Steve came in and was not pushy at all. We discussed that since our water heater and air conditioner was also at least 15 years old, we should have everything done. They even offered to get space heaters for our house since the temperatures were predicted to be in the sub-zero numbers during the night. The following day Ben came out alone and installed a new furnace. Ben was so nice, polite and explained everything to us as he went along. Within a few days, he came back with Dakota and installed the air conditioner and also a new hot water tank. These guys were so polite and careful coming in and out of the house. They put down runners so the carpet wouldn't get dirty and was very careful with everything! We would highly recommend Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning to do any future work at our house. We will be 'singing their praises' for a long time! Thanks to Isaac for Brad, Steve, Ben and Dakota for a job well done! They all deserve a promotion and a raise!!!!

A salesman visited me at my home to give me an estimate to replace my furnace and air conditioning. He was well prepared by using town records and google maps for the size of my house. I received 3 estimates and decided not to use Issac.
