High performance came out the very same day I called them, awesome response time. George, the technician, did a great job and was very patient in explaining the job that he was going to do. He provided the service and cleaned up completely. As far as the price goes he explained that if he had already been on site for a cleaning or repair it would have only been $110 to fix the leaks but that he had to charge $89 for the service call. So while there was no savings in price the repair was excellent. This is why I gave them a C for price as it was average in the end. I would use them again.

Used a furnace cleaning deal from Angies list. Recently bought a home and needed to get the furnace checked and cleaned. I found the technician, George King, to be cordial, thorough, punctual and professional. He removed shoes to come into main area of house to access the thermostat, explained to me how to work the humidifier and reported on the condition, age and other things related to the furnace. I feel confident that it is in good working order for the winter and I will call them to look at the central air in the spring. Would definitely recommend.

The owner of the company returned my husband's call later that day. We wanted an on demand hot water system. He came the next day to give us a quote. The job was scheduled for the next week. The gentlemen, including the owner show up on time and very pleasant and cordial. They all introduced themselves and shook hands. It took them about 4-5 hours to do the job. They asked a few questions, but pretty much knew what to do. We are happy with the installation. They did a great job. We would use them again if needed.

There is nothing I don't like about them. They're really great and responsive. I'm really happy with them.

I contracted with High Performance a little over a year ago to install a new energy-efficient furnace and central air conditioning. The job was done in a day, and I was very happy with Matt and Gary’s professionalism and efficiency. Out with the old/in with the new for my little house built in the 1920’s. More recently I contracted with them again to clean the air ducts in my house. I’ve had an inordinate amount of dust all 3 years that I’ve been in this house and the new furnace didn’t fix this. I concluded the ducts needed some maintenance, and I was right. The results have been positive. The downside of this last job is that they neglected to tell me the process would kick up a LOT of dust all over the house. I do not know if Gary assumed Matt had told me or if Matt assumed Gary had told me – nobody told me. When I got home I was told the ducts were, indeed, full of accumulated dust & dirt. I gladly paid the sum (approx. $800, which included furnace maintenance). After they left and upon closer inspection, I found every surface was covered in a film of dust. I spent the next 3 days vacuuming the furniture, floors, ceiling fan, door frames, dusting every picture frame, vase, tabletop. I was angry, but I don’t think the oversight was malicious or due to equipment malfunction (at least, I was not told there had been a problem). The job itself was done, and I’m glad I did it. Matt and Gary verbally apologized for the resulting mess. I still like High Performance. I am able to chalk this up to “experience” for both of us. (And for you, dear reader.) I prefer to deal with local business people and support their work in the community. I would use them again.

The owner Matt, is a highly knowledgeable, honest, no pressure and no-nonsense individual. Prior to calling him I obtained a quote from one of the biggest and well known HVAC companies in Rochester. They sent a salesman and the amount of their quote was laughable. The other quote I obtained from the owner of another smaller company affiliated with a national franchise. Again, another outrageously high quote, along with an attempt to sell me what I didn't need. It was completely refreshing when Matt showed up at my door. He is not a "salesman". He and his crew took extreme care in a complicated job that took them in every room of my old house. When they were completed it was like they were never there and I am highly satisified with the work they did. It was a very challenging job and they met my expectations in every way. As a result I have recommended his company to my employer and friends who have been equally impressed and satisfied.

My overall experience with High Performance Heating was excellent. Their price is fine. They are very professional. I would use their service in the future too.

He did a good job explaining what he wanted to do and everything, but I haven?t gotten back to them yet. He was very knowledgeable, he was receptive, and he asked me all the time if I had any questions. He was a very enjoyable person.

The owner from High Performance and his tech showed up within hours of calling them. They were able to identify the problem within minutes, one of valves was broken and it only took 45 minutes beginning to end on the valve replacement (including going out to get the part). Then they fixed the damage caused by the tech from the other company, and they did all this work for less than the other company wanted to charge me for their "services" (which did not include the actual repair - because they didn't know what was wrong). Since then I have had them replace our water heater at the rental and fix the air conditioning at our residence. Each time I have worked with them they have been prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and affordable. If you need any HVAC service, these are the guys to call. They will not let you down and I can guarantee I will continue to contract them for all of our needs.
