Excellent experience, would certainly recommend and use Genesee Glass and Mirror again! Quick response to my call for a quote for a cracked window. Window pane had to be special ordered. On the plus side, installation was sooner than anticipated. Installer was very professional, perfect installation, neat, friendly, on time. Communication with the company was excellent.

They came when they said they would, measured the glass and got it on order. Once the glass came in they came again with a mobile window repair truck, removed the damaged sash and took it out to the truck. They replaced the glass right there in the truck and put the window back together. Very courteous, very professional.

Estimator was prompt and very knowledgeable. He measured carefully. No rework needed to be done. He gave me an estimate that allowed me to be flexible and change my mind if I wanted only some of the items done, rather than all of them. The quote he provided included the Angie's discount upfront as he knew that I had found him on Angie's list. The two men that arrived to do the work were prompt, courteous and mindful of my light-colored carpets. It took them about half a day to do all of the work, just as they had estimated. For one of my mirrors, I had talked about replacing the sink as well. When they went to install that mirror, they found that the vanity was not square due to the house settling and the mirror would need to be placed on a slight angle. They stopped their work to consult with me about the problem. We agreed to put the mirror aside and I would install it at a later date after the new vanity was installed. They reset the original mirror over the vanity in the interim. New windows were so clean and clear that I could not believe that they were there. I had to touch them to prove that there was actually glass in place. The old windows had fogged as a result of the seal breaking between the double panes. The two men were quite knowledgeable about my job. The estimator had clearly talked through all my details with them prior to the visit. When I bumped into the mirror problem, they were able to run through all of my options including any additional costs that might be applicable. I would hire this company again.

I purchased a shelved hutch top for a dresser that was lacking a mirror. I brought the hutch to thier facility and they quoted me a price to repair the mirror on the spot. They said it would be done in 2 days and it was. They even unloaded it and reloaded it into my van..It was way too heavy for me to lift alone. The mirror looks great and really sets off the dresser. They were professional and courteous on the phone and in person. I would recommend them for any mirror replacements. Sharon M

They answered any questions we had very quickly. They addressed our concerns and were very, very helpful. They made sure we were getting what they wanted. They were very responsive. I placed a call Saturday and they called me first thing Monday morning and set up an appointment for the following day.

The provider came to my house and properly measured the windows which were to be replaced. When the replacement windows arrived, the provider installed them. He was friendly and professional. The work was done to my satisfaction. .

Went great. At first, dealt with a receptionist on the phone who was neither friendly nor followed up with an email quote as promised. I called back again and spoke with a real salesman. He was great - pleasant to speak with, extremely responsive to email, and kept us in the loop the entire process until the glass was ready to be delivered. Very professional. Will definitely use them again. Glass came out great, and exactly as we expected. Worth the delivery charge as we didn't want the responsibility of transporting the glass with all of Rochester's winter street potholes!

I have used Genesee Glass SEVERAL times in the past and they have always done a great job. We've had glass tabletops made, bathroom mirrors, mirrors for a gym, a replaced window and 3 windshields done by them. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Service was outstanding. They gave me help on how to measure, I called in the measurements, and 4 hours later the order was ready for pickup. They even suggested the correct mastic to glue the mirrors and had the product in stock for sale. Other places I called weren't interested in my small job, or said they were so busy it would take months before they could get to my requesst. I will definitely suggest this company to others. They were very busy when I went to pick up the order, so a lot of folks must also know the quality of their work, and the high level of service.

Every step in the process was outstanding and exactly as anyone would hope for. I had submitted an end of day inquiry via Angie's List for work I indicated was not urgent and not an emergency. By roughly mid-day the following day, a representative had stopped in the morning and provided an estimate for the work (without my needing to be present). I signed and returned the quote the same day and received a response that someone would be out to fix within roughly 1.5 weeks (10 days) which was fine since work was not emergency and not urgent for me. The scheduler contacted me a few days before that and a date and time agreed upon. The worker (Dave) showed up exactly as expected and had the work completed in less than an hour. Everything was put back as was and no mess was left. I found Dave to be polite, courteous, friendly, and efficient. I am extremely pleased. Genesee Glass & Mirror will be my go-to provider for these types of services. Communication and responsiveness were exceptional.

I had called Ray Sands Glass 4 different times trying to get an appointment to do the job. They never returned my call! A totally different story with Genesee Glass! My call was picked up, an appointment was made within about a week. They came out, did the job. The cost was reasonable. They picked up after themselves. They were pleasant on the phone and in person. I would certainly recommend them!

Excellent service. They were on time, (maybe early), took care to not damage floor and vaulted ceiling (close to their heads when they were on the scaffold) worked efficiently and well together, and cleaned up.

Called in the morning & they were there within an hour for a measurement & a price estimate. We agreed on the price & they came back later(within two hours) & installed the mirror. The job was done quickly & neatly. The installer(Dave) was polite & professional. It was a real pleasure to do business with such a great company! Everything went well, from the estimate, to pricing, to installation and follow-up. They (as well as other repair companies) alerted us to the fact that we may need to do some touch-up painting after they were finished. However, they did such a great job, I really do not need to do anything with painting. The crew was very professional, efficient, and clean. They were very careful in doing their job and worked extremely well together as a team. They were friendly and courteous. This 4-member team were a pleasure to have in our home repairing our windows Back at the office, Barry was always helpful as we went through the process of obtaining quotes from other companies. He was very patient with us while we took our time learning about glass replacement as well as window replacement. He answered all of our questions throughout this process. We will use Genesee Glass & Mirror again for any glass repairs that we may have in the future.
