I needed additional work on a newly installed water heater. After getting an estimate from the original installers, I called Campbell Plumbing because they had done a good job for me last fall. Their estimate was quite a bit lower, and I hired them for the job.They were able to schedule the work within the week. Even though they ran into some difficulties with the job, (my house is 60 years old) the final cost was not much more than they had originally quoted.

It went very well. George and his son were quite detailed in their diagnosis of the leaky pipe issue. Made sure that I understood that there were 2 ways of fixing the problem, quick patch vs. long term repair. While it was an all day job they were very respectful of my home with drop clothes in and out of the house. All messes from the pipe replacement and drilling were cleaned up beautifully. I the piping is 100% now and I could not be more pleased.

Very well--communication was excellent throughout the process, they arrived on time, explained exactly what was needed and had the necessary materials. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and I would definitely rehire for another plumbing job in the future.

Very pleasant and personable, he kept me informed of what was going on the whole time, was punctual, worked quickly and cleanly, and he thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The gas water heater was around $800 and the bathtub fixtures replacement job, including cutting through the wall and installing an access panel (which looks just fine) was around $500. I would definitely hire him again.

I needed sump pump repair shortly after moving into my new house. Mr. Campbell and his son were able to come out within a very short time of my contacting them and performed the necessary work - replacing the old pump and installing a back up. They are quite reasonably priced, compared to a few other plumbing companies I have used in the past. Recently I had some concerns about the pump and Mr. Campbell came right out and diagnosed the problem (an electrical outlet, not the pump itself. ) He did not charge me for the service call, but did a small unrelated repair for a very reasonable price.

Outstanding. We choose to go with a new third party cartridge. We scheduled the replacement on a Sat. morning. Again, Muriel called to let me know when George would arrive. The replacement went as planned. And George took great care to make sure everything was clean. And he told me what to look for to make sure the cartridge was working properly. I would recommend GT Campbell Plumbing to anyone.

I had a minor but annoying/constant kitchen sink/faucet leak. After some diagnosing, it appeared to be the faucet. I replaced the cartridge with no improvement. Since it was coming from the base of the faucet above the counter, I decided to call a plumber to deal with it (the old bones don’t do well in cramped positions anymore!). Angie’s List led me to GT Campbell Plumbing. I called and George came out the next day did some troubleshooting, getting to the same conclusion I did. He then replaced the pull out sprayer hose. Again, no improvement. I told him that the faucet had a lifetime warranty and he suggested we get Delta Customer Service on the phone and he would talk to them. Once engaged, he walked worked through the entire scenario in great detail and answered all of their questions with expertise. The end result was that Delta decided to send a replacement faucet. The shipment would take 7-10 days, but the leak was manageable until then. George cleaned everything up and said to call him when the new faucet arrived and he would come over and install it. He was at the house for ~ 1.5 hours and surprised me when I asked what I owed him – “Nothing for this trip. We didn’t actually fix anything. You can pay me for the faucet installation”. The faucet arrived late on Thursday, I called GT Campbell Plumbing (Muriel is excellent on the phone) and we set the appointment for early Saturday morning (which was the morning of New Year’s Eve). George arrived at the appointed time and an hour later the faucet was installed and the leak was gone. I paid him and told him he would be getting my plumbing business from then on. Some other comments. George was personable, engaging, knowledgeable and professional. Very careful to avoid any mess or dirt (floor covered with drop cloths, soft shoe coverings). He knew exactly what to do and how to do it and then did it well, professionally and quickly. The two trip/one payment pricing arrangement was much appreciated. George (and Muriel) have a clear understanding of good Customer Service and professionalism and how to deliver both. An excellent experience and GT Plumbing is highly recommended.

Quality job done on time!! Work area was perfectly clean after installation. Tom and George are true professionals. We obtained several estimates including a HomeDepot installation (usually lowest price with an unspecified plumbing outfit). G&T's price was a better value than HD's and all others. We will hire them again for any plumbing job at our home and will refer them to friends.

We are extremely pleased ...just called them yesterday and they were able to come out this afternoon. Very professional, assessed the situations and went right to work. It wasn't easy work as one water pipe had broken off in/near the wall and at first George thought he may have to remove some drywall to get to it, but he was able to avoid that and we are very grateful. That powder room hasn't had running water in the sink in years, so if I could, I would give him an A+!! We will definitely hire him again.

I called because I have a plumbing problem. I live in the city of Rochester. Turns out they don't have a license to work in Rochester. Monroe County is listed as in their service area. They should indicated that they can't work in Rochester so that people don't waste time reading about them and contacting them.

George and Thomas were awesome! They were very professional and it's clear they are experts in their line of work. They were persistent and kept at the blockage for hours. They came prepared and cleaned up after themselves and we would use them again in a heartbeat!! Thank you!!

George came out and gave a very honest and through inspection and price quote estimate. Unfortunately in the end he was not able to do the work because he is not licensed in the city of Rochester, yet*. If he does get his Roc city license I will absolutely always go to him.. He was timely, polite, professional, he responded very quickly even though he wasn't sure he would be able to help me in the first place. I would recommend him to anybody!!!

My go to plumber! Sunday morning flood in basement . Tried the usual techniques to resolve clogged drain pipe , no go. One call and 1 hour later plumbing is fixed! Awesome service! Very professional and mindful of my property.

I have used G T Campbell several times in the past few years. In 2010 he replaced my water heater. He was fast, responsible and reasonably priced. In 2014, I bought 3 Toto toilets on-line to replace the ones in the house that never flushed properly.. He installed all 3 for $75 each, which I thought was very reasonable. In 2014, I had him reinstall the refrigerator ice maker water line. The original line was a 30ft plastic line running along the basement ceiling. Every few years it would split, and I would have to splice in a new section. He installed a copper line and connected to a nearby cold water line about 10 ft from the refrigerator. This solved a long term problem. I would use him for all my plumbing needs. I am very happy with his work.

He was very honest and very pleasant. He was very patient and it was just amazing to watch him work. He has become our official plumber.

He came in assessed the problem. Went to his van, came back with 4 drop clothes and laid them down to not dirty our floors. began to methodically disassembled cracked toilet. after disassembling toilet, piece by piece, he cleaned the area, then proceeded to once again methodically assemble the new toilet. he placed the toilet bowl on top of the wax ring, then began to wiggle the bowl to see if he needed to add shims, the floor seemed not level he placed the shims and carefully began to screw in the nuts to the bolts to tighten the bowl. after he finished this he added the tank, prepared the water lines, tightened everything, put on the cover, then he put on the toilet seat. he then assisted us in giving his opinion on replacing the shower enclosure. He then returned and cleaned up his work area, returned the drop cloths back to his van and wrote up his bill. George was professional, courteous and I will continue to use him as our plumber. I will recommend him highly to friends as well as family. Job well done.
