Description of Work: I had carpenter ants in my cathedral ceiling. The tech insisted that if he sprayed the perimeter of the house and sprayed and planted bait around the inside, the ants would walk through the spray or take the bait back to the nest and kill everybody. Fine, in theory, except I told him I hadn't seen any ants. As for the ants buzzing away in the ceiling, he told me to call a contractor. The next day, ants still buzzing, I drilled 4 holes, 1/8 inch, in the ceiling and sprayed carpenter ant spray in them. No more ants. This company may be a good preventer, but, in my experience, they are not a good exterminator.

Description of Work: They came out for mole removal estimate. We spoke about average cost and process. He was ontime for appointment, very knowledgable. I was disappointed beause i never recieved an actual estimate. I never heard back from them.

They are extremely responsive; earlier in the year I had a problem with bees as I was getting ready for a party. They understood my situation and came right out and took care of it! The communication between the office and the staff in the field is great.
Description of Work: I have used them in the past and they were back out the other day to spray their quarterly perimeter of protection around my house for pests. They did this as part of my annual contract.

We were having work done on the house and the contractor found carpenter ants swarming, but did not find the nest. We were on a trip and didn't get around to calling for a week or so. We called Exodus and they sent a technician out the next day. He searched for ants including spraying something to draw them out and concluded that the ants had moved on and there was no nest currently in the home. He discussed what to do if we see ants in the home, but I was impressed that he did not try to sell us anything we didn't need and didn't push any sort of contract for ongoing care. He gave me some helpful advice about how to deal with seasonal nuisance ants (the little ones) on my own. If we do find carpenter ants at a later date, I'll definitely call Exodus. I felt I was treated very fairly. We did pay $70 for the service, but he sprayed to search for ants and was here for a while so it seemed reasonable to me. I did not do any price comparison and have never hired an exterminator before so I do not know how to rate cost-- this is why I ticked "N/A" under price.

They are very personable and a "home grown" business. I have been very pleased with their service and am happy that I switched to them.
Description of Work: I have an annual contract with Exodus Exterminating. They come every 3 months and will come for any urgent service on a one time basis as well. I pay about $450 a year for their service.

The individual that came showed up on time and was very professional, and the treatment was very effective.
