I thought it was done quickly, thoroughly and in a clean way.

We haven't had a problem. We use them every year. The price depends on what we get done. They had good ratings. They were good, very good. They were very friendly, very thorough, very good. Their price was very good. They were very reasonable with their pricing.

Better than expected. After an inspection, I was told my chimney did not need cleaning. Parts were ordered for a new damper, installation was fast and efficient and there was no mess.

The cleaning went well. But during the inspection the cleaner noticed a small, internal crack and recommended that we have it repaired. We use our fireplace a lot and agreed it should be fixed for peace of mind even though it was not an urgent situation. He could not stay to fix it that day, however, and said we should we call back to schedule. (He also left us with a hand-drawn diagram showing the crack.) After multiple, frustrating attempts to schedule the repair--and no response from the company--we gave up and called another firm. I would not recommend Canterbury Chimney. Afterward, we wondered if the "repair" was a scam.

Went well. They were in and out and very clean.

My daughter bought a house that had a “new roof” that was a disaster and needed to be torn off and replaced. During the process the roofers found a furnace exhaust pipe that was rotted and the previous roofer tried to stick it back in place. Canterbury Chimney Sweeps was recommended to me by the foreman on this job and Isaac heating and Cooling. The foreman went and bought a new pipe while I called Canterbury. It was mid-day at this point and I was concerned it would be too late in the day for someone to come and replace the pipe. I explained the situation and they sent people out right away who assessed the situation and installed the new pipe. I was impressed with how quickly they came and the two fellows who did the work. I would use this company again.

I found a good place that was recommended by a fireplace dealer.

I left an e-mail through the contact section of their web site on Sunday. It's Friday at 6PM now. No response. Good news is that another company responded within 3 hours. The reviews for this company seem good but they have to show up first.

They said it was a crack in the chimney and they said they don’t do that type of work. They put a liner in there and said it was unsafe to use.

Excellent! The chimney was cleaned, the firebox was cleaned, the chimney and firebox were inspected, and the mess was cleaned up.

It went okay. He was friendly. He was very polite. I can't complain.

Having used and been happy with this company previously, I called on 2 different occasions to schedule service. I was only greeted by voice mail, and I left messages both times, repeating my number slowly at the beginning and the end of the message for clarity. I never received a callback. I will not be calling a third time.

It was done professionally. A very good job. I would recommend them to anyone.

when they came to clean the chimney said it didn't need cleaning so they deducked the special price from the over all price ie:price to clean chimney + cap -99.00 from 135.oo =26.oo total price it . They had to order new cape and when it came in said they would install.We hadn't heard from them in a week so my wife called them and they said they had truck problems,after my wife called them it was installed. we've used this company before and were happy.

OK, but the sweep did not go on the roof, and i question how well the flue liner could be swept from below. That is the main reason i put 'no' in the box asking if I'd use them again. The gentleman who did the work was very professional but did not want to go to the effort of going on the roof. All previous chimney sweeps i've used did sweep the chimney from above.

Everything was done in a very professional manner. Drop cloth was placed in front of fireplace and everything was left spotless. I will hire Canterbury Chimney Sweeps again.

They refused to do the job because we did not have a driveway in the front of the house, because the sweeper would have to drag his equipment through deep snow to get the house. We have a walkway, we have no snow, but they would not return my call.

Scheduling was efficient (be sure to call ahead if you have a specific date in mind), and the individual who did the work was friendly, professional and straightforward. He cheerfully dealt with two cats who kept getting underfoot. I don't remember the cost so I guessed above, but it was quite reasonable and well in line with competitors' pricing.

Great chimney sweeping service. Very professional and with all of the tarps and special vaccuums they used, it was perfectly mess free. Great service and they were able to advise us on how often we should have the service done based upon our woodburning habits.
