The service repairman (Steve M.) knew exactly what was wrong and took care of the issue. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Our fridge is under warranty, but would hire Appliance Tec for any of our appliances.

They were not very helpful or professional

it went great. The Tech was awesome.

Problem was tiny piece of broken glass in pump. Technician found glass and put everything back together.

Dryer was under extended warranty, so I called to set up service. I was told Appliance Tec would be contacting me to set up Service Call. I received a call the very same day, and service was scheduled the very next day! He replaced all the rollers in the dryer, which took approx. 45 min. Extremely pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend them!

Ethan from ApplianceTec was an excellent diagnostician, professional and considerate. He fixed the problem and took the time to explain the issue. I have used ApplianceTec many times, they are all very strong technicians and responsive. The ONLY recommendation I would make to this company is improved phone answering during business hours.

2nd tech arrived a few days later with replacement parts. Installed them. Wrote up a receipt. Requested one through e-mail Received an e-mail for $148.21 Balance due. I'm under a warranty contract with Lowes. Was told I HAD to contact Lowes. (Lowes is the one that set up the appointment in the first place.) Lowes and Appliance Tec. Settled the ticket cost. Mistake with Appliance Tec. Receiver a new "0" balance invoice

Very well, we were happy with the service

Very well. The ServiceTec repairman came as promised by the scheduler two days after my call. He was polite and quick. My only "complaint" was that he didn't have the replacement part (I think it was pretty obvious from my description of the problem that the panel would need replacement) so the repair itself occurred 3 business days later. Still, I was very pleased because it was fixed the Monday before Thanksgiving.

ApplianceTec was able to schedule us a day early. Our tech Steve M. called ahead and arrived on time. He covered his shoes on the porch and removed the freezer drawers in order to check on the elements in the back. I put all the freezer items in coolers because I wasn't sure how long the repair would take and wanted to make it easier for him to reinstall the drawer. Within an hour Steve had the inside of the freezer clean and reassembled. He reinstalled the freezer pull out drawer and even reattached the very bottom grille which popped out when we cleaned and we never could get it to stay attached. He apologized for not putting the frozen food back into the drawers because he didn't know where we wanted things, which was fine with us since we used this opportunity to throw some things out. The refrigerator is working great now. We know it was fixed as quickly as possible and we know it was repaired correctly. This same tech also repaired our GE dishwasher a year or so ago. We keep ApplianceTec's number handy because we like the service. We understand the cost of parts and labor and wish it was lower, but we know these systems require parts that are sometimes pricey. The cost of labor is what it is. We would rather pay the rate required for the best service instead of trying to cut corners and end up with botched repairs that require additional trips. We know we can trust Steve's work and his company.

Came when expected,wore shoe covers,was polite and professional,ordered part right there on tablet Scheduled appt. to install part at my convenience,left room clean.

robo call evening before making sure you were to be there at the assigned time. Followup phone call 1/2 hour before arriving to alert me of his arrival time. Polite technician wearing booties over shoes and putting cover down on floor before beginning. Completed job satisfactorily in a short time and left no debris behind.

Called and was on time. We have had them in our house several times and they are always very efficient. Usually they are more friendly, but this guy, Steve, was all business. He could have been a bit more friendly, especially to our daughter.

Less than a month ago we had Appliance Tec replace a defective float valve in our GE dishwasher. Took some effort to find the part, but they did and they replaced it. While inspecting the machine the tech person noticed that the connection to the dishwasher had leaked in the past, but after replacing the float valve there was no leaking, so to help me save money he just replaced the supply line. Well after a couple of weeks we noticed that the connection was leaking. I made another appointment and explained the problem. I was wondering if we would be charged for the service call, since it could be argued that the leak was really a new problem. I was prepared to argue that I would rather have fixed it by replacing the old connection. So a little bit frustrated. After the tech replaced the connector, I asked him, ' I expected to pay for the part, but do I owe you for a service call as well? ' "No, just the part. I explained it all to my supervisor." said the tech. Wow, I really did not expect that. I had to argue with a plumber in the past about paying him just to look at a problem and then again when he fixed it, so to actually back up their work instead of making me pay for a new repair, is very impressive. Hats off to Appliance Tec. They saw the problem and fixed it instead of arguing about who had the correct point. I highly recommend their work and their service. Very happy.

We called the dishwasher company and they said that the motor was in for a recall. They put us in touch with Appliance Tec. They ended up, piece-by-piece, replacing every part of the dishwasher including the tub and even then it still wasn’t right; we ended up buying a new one.

As many reviews note, company is pricey, but does good work with a professional repair person. Interestingly, you can track repairman's progess online to know when he will get to your house.

Called Charlotte Appliance for a referral and they gave me the number for Appliance Tec. They made an appointment for the same week, called the day before to confirm and arrived on time. Service man was professional and fixed the oven in less than 45 minutes. The problem was the bill. $79.95 for the service call (which I was told about ahead of time), $74 for the part, and $96 for labor. To me, $96 for well under an hour of labor ON TOP OF $79.95 for the service call is excessive. I'm glad to have the oven fixed, but I would think twice about calling them again in the future because of the price.
