Description of Work: They replaced a few broken blocks on my garage walls. They patched cracks and they installed a window in the garage. It went okay, except the owner left for the day and none of the workers spoke English, so when the person trying to stop the leak at ground level was doing it incorrectly, I had a hard time explaining what was needed to be done.

+ -1 moreWe had been getting several water stains on our living room ceiling that kept getting larger especially after Hurricane Irene. We called several roofing companies that either never called us back or gave us the run-around as to the time when they would be able to come and do repairs. After calling City Suburb, Inc. and leaving a message, they called us back almost immediately and told us they would come the very next day. We were pleasantly surprised when Surinderpal Singh arrived promptly and was extremely courteous and professional. He inspected the roof and assured us our roof was in good condition and just needed a few repairs. Rather than trying to bilk us out of money for unnecessary work he was very honest on what needed to be done. Since the repairs, we have had quite a bit of rain and flash flooding and no more leaks. We are very pleased and highly recommend City Suburb and Mr. Singh and will definitely use them in the future.
Description of Work: Our roof was leaking and needed repair. Contractor removed all roof bubbles from roof and sealed the divider parapet wall with fabric and flashing cement.

He took it upon himself to make sure that everything that needed to be done. I had a great rapport with this contractor, and I was very happy with his work. He gave me a good deal on the job, and a great price.
Description of Work: Paul, built up the gutters and put a foundation in the inside and bottom. He cleaned out my gutters. He also added gutter shields. On the right side of my roof he put a new roof on and added rafter tips.

I used him for a second small job (leveling concrete on sidewalk) about a month after the first job for which I am just as pleased. His price was the lowest I was quoted and the worksmanship was of the highest quality. Use City Suburb, Inc., if you want your job done quickly, inexpensively and professionally.
Description of Work: I needed the concrete on my walkway re-concreted in certain areas that had chipped and deteriorated and I needed the sidewalk in front of my house leveled and smoothed with new concrete.

Description of Work: City Suburb repaired a broken garage door frame and replaced the door (and coped with a homeless person who had moved into the garage!). They also fixed the roof. Prviously, they fixed a roof tile in the middle of the winter and a gutter. Their work was done in a timely manner and the company was easily reached by phone and email. The work quality was excellent.

+ 2 moreThe initial damage occured in late January, and we had some problems scheduling/coordinating the project with all three Tenants. City Suburb was flexible enough to finish the repairs despite Tenant scheduling issues. City Suburb was professional and courteous.
Description of Work: Because of snow and ice blockage of gutters on a flat roof, there was damage to the inside of four apartments. City Suburb arrived on the same day called and stoped the water leaks by pointing and caulking the exterior of the building. They also added two leaders to my gutters and repaired/painted the damage to the inside walls.
