Ravi and the team at City Suburb successfully addressed the leaks and waterproofing needs of the façade of our 7-story Brooklyn apartment building. This was a complex job involving hanging scaffolding and about two weeks of intensive work on the exterior of our building. The team was professional, and Ravi was available to connect throughout the process. In a job of this nature, there are always unexpected challenges, but Ravi and the team navigated those issues very well. Overall, City Suburb proved to be a very good choice for our project, and we appreciate their efforts in weather-proofing our building. I hired City Suburb, Inc to do pointing for my entire brick house, and they did an excellent job. This was a large residential job, and the Managing Partner (Ravi) made sure that all work was performed timely and for a reasonable price. Along with the pointing work, the company also replaced the lintels for most of my windows, which were extremely rusted, and again, the prices were reasonable. I appreciated that Ravi ensured that his team showed up at 8am everyday without delay, caused no disruption to myself or my neighbors, and never upsold on any service or material. Everything was upfront and straightforward, which is a rarity in New York City. I was so happy with the company's brick pointing work that I immediately retained their services for installing soffit on the rafters of the house, which also came out great. I enthusiastically recommend City Suburb, Inc for masonry or any major renovation.

Also I saved about 10k after Ravi (owner) suggested to repair garage walls differently from what I thought I will do. Bottom line - will definitely use their services again!

Great brickwork done by the elderly gentleman on the team! In the world of construction fully dominated by men, Robbie and team were fairly pleasant to interact with. They did the job efficiently in 2 days with some hiccups and rushed work towards the end but as long as your are flexible in scheduling, I totally recommend Robbie and team.

Ravi is professional, responsive, honest and easy to work with- qualities that are hard to find. He took time on-site to inspect the roof to give me an accurate quote. Instead of upselling me a new roof, he walked me through exactly what was necessary vs nice to have and stands by the quality of his work. As a homeowner, this is everything! He and his team arrived on time, were courteous and came with their own masks in this time of COVID-19. Instead of rushing the work, his team returned the next day to tie up loose ends and finish strong. This says a lot about his commitment to good work. Body of work included repairing roof, replacing gutter and downspout using quality material, installed a dryer vent , sealed any cracks/seams and full roof inspection to catch anything we didn't discuss. I chose City Suburb because of their high positive reviews and body of work the company performs outside of just roofing. They made this process easy, I will hire them again and recommend them to others.

We just moved and decided that we needed some masonry work done. It was a big task, and I decided to contact City Suburb for a quote to do the work. Ravi picked up and we set an appointment which he arrived to on time. Ravi was considerate and professional, making some great suggestions in the process. Ravi’s crew is comprised of some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Everyone showed up on time, the work began when Ravi said it would, and the work was completed on the end date we agreed upon at the start. When all work was completed, a thorough clean up was done. Also, as a considerate bonus to us, Ravi gave us the remaining waterproof paint used to seal the cement wall that was built. It was very nice to have experienced doing work with City Suburb, because when you’ve got people doing a pro job it makes life much less stressful. I’ve already passed the City Suburb contact information on to a friend who liked the work we had done, and I’m likely going to be calling Ravi back soon to do more work for us.

Before my long review just know you should use these guys I highly recommend the team at City Suburb! It is about 4 months post project and I am finally getting a chance to write a review. Had my brick front steps and landing completely repaired. The team replaced my broken stone steps, repointed the bricks, and poured a new concrete landing for me. The work was done in 3 days as quoted with the weather cooperating. They made little mess, cleaned while they worked, and cleaned up before they left everyday. Pricing was consistent with other quotes we received but the professionalism was what ultimately made me move forward. I had a digital contract for the work outlining the job, timeline, and cost the same day they came out to give me an estimate. I am going to have them come out and do additional waterproofing and stonework for me in the next few months.

Ravi was great to work with. He was able to squeeze me in just before the Isiaias storm. Crew was great. Job was done in a timely manner. Communication was good. The work looked great. 1st storm and rain that we didn’t have basement flooding! Will be recommending Ravi and using him again for facade work on our building. Thank you, Ravi.

I am very pleased with the roofing work and stucco repair on my small apartment building. The men were very polite and always cleaned up. Price was fair. Ravinder is very easy talk to. He always makes sure that I am pleased with the work. A special word of praise to Omkar, the supervisor, who pointed out the quality of the work during the job. Indeed, the work is of very high quality. There were some scheduling issues, because Ravinder is very busy. But he ALWAYS answered my phone calls/texts. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
