Ravi and his crew did a terrific job repairing the facade of my building, the cornice, and the front steps. Everyone worked extremely hard, and with a lot of skill they expertly did their work. They were professional, and good natured all the way through. Thank you City Suburb Inc!

We hired Ravi to do some leveling and concrete replacement work in our basement they also had to replace a supporting post. Ravi and his team were just amazing. They showed up on time each day, were courteous and let me know what was going on throughout the job. We ended up hiring them again to tackle several other projects including water proofing the exterior of the home, repairing the stucco and creating a new concrete patio area in the back yard. All in all great work. The price was a little more than we wanted to spent but you get what you pay for.

asked for a quote on refinishing the front of my brick townhouse when I saw Ravi and his crew doing work on a neighboring building. He gave us a fair price, and finished early. He made observations about other conditions that he recommended we address.Ravi explained all issues clearly and worked with us on pricing to Address all. His workers were polite and professional. They did a great job and I would recommend them to any of my neighbor's..all in all, house looks brand new

Ravi showed up on time, thoroughly inspected our issues and came up with a solution. His price was fair. They started the job on time and finished on time. Ravi (the owner) was onsite everyday. I had concerns with the concrete drying properly due to the weather being so cold. Ravi guaranteed his work and said he would follow up in the spring to make sure everything was perfect. He even checked in a few weeks after the job was completed just to make sure we were happy with the work. I highly recommend these guys and will be using them again.

I hired them to work on two buildings I own. The work was done quickly and professionally, they cleaned up after themselves. Not one complaint from any tenant or neighbor. At one building the cornice was in horrible condition, they scrapped, patched, and painted it. They did a remarkable job. I would happily hire them again.

It went really well! Ravi and his team were polite, professional, prompt, and flexible. The work took one extra day than they originally quoted us, but they communicated that in advance, and we were able to adjust our plans. We had the front and back of our brick house repointed. They also caulked the windows, and they did a great job of cleaning up all of the mortar dust and debris after themselves. We would definitely hire them again for an of our masonry or roofing needs!

After meeting with Ravi, I was was very satisfied with his proposal. He explained all work that was necessary. I was even more impressed with the level of maticulious detailing of brick pointing his workers performed. After one week the work was completed, I went to inspect brick pointing. After years of constant dripping, City Suburb found and solved my roof problem. I am very pleased with their work and the results. They were professional. They cleaned everything as expected and I would recommend this company without hesitation.

The work was done professionally, cleanly and with care. Everyone was courteous and I have no hesitation in recomending them .

From start to finish, City Suburb was on time, professional, and diligent. They had to remove concrete pavement on one side of our house, dig down to create a trench for the 40 foot length, found a part of the outer foundation wall missing (surprise!), which they installed to repair it, put in the waterproof barrier, filled in the trench, and put new concrete pavement the entire length of that side of the house. They did the job in four days, even working on Sunday to finish up. Then they clean up all the debris and washed down the driveway. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend them.

The entire project took one week. The driveway was completed in two days and the masonry steps in three. The entire project went well with Ravinder's workers cleaning up after themselves each evening. The workers appear to take pride in their work which showed in the product produced. Ravinder is a good manager who was mostly onsite and on top of things. My sole gripe is Ravinder could have done a better job in reassuring my concerns regarding cement in cold weather that I found on the internet.

City Suburb just completed work on the exterior of our brownstone - we needed 3 through-the-wall air conditioners removed (which required the use of a scaffold rig from the roof), then those areas needed to be restored (3 layers of brick, insulation, sheetrock, plaster). The work also included an application of a coat of thorocoat to the entire exterior 4-story wall for waterproofing purposes. The work took 2 days, as planned. Scheduling was informal, by texting the owner, Mr. Singh, and he worked with us to schedule quickly and was clear about the work plan. Insurance was provided and the work was very professional - a crew of 3 the first day and a crew of 6 the second day. Safety procedures were followed, the crew was knowledgable, careful, and very pleasant. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. No issues whatsoever, and it all looks great! In the photo - a/c's were removed from below the top left and middle left windows and below the awning. And the full exterior was painted with a coat of thorocoat. I would definitely recommend them to others - and I know they provide a variety of services.

This is the second time I used City Suburb. This time for the front stoop, and to make new steps to the basement. The job went very quickly once started, and they were clean and organized. Ravinder did his best to accomodate my requests even though he is very busy and gave a fair price.

Ryan and his crew did a thorough job removing an old roof deck and replacing the roof below. It took several weeks to arrange to have the new deck installed, but he used top of the line materials and took extra time to ensure the new deck was level. Over time, we experienced some leaking during snow melts and heavy rains and Ryan came out periodically to assess the problem. Ultimately he removed portions of the deck to reseal some areas of the roof, and replaced the deck the same day. I am very satisfied with City Suburb’s work, responsiveness, and responsibility. Would definitely hire again.

Writing this review brings up a lot of bad memories/feelings. But I must warn those of you considering these people. Most of these reviews are fake. City Suburb pays hundreds of dollars a month to a company called 'LinkNow' to post reviews monthly for them. It's at the bottom of their website, look for yourself. They post reviews to google, home advisor, yelp, all of them. They also take down negative reviews for a price. They call them 'citations' to try to hide what they're really doing. Ravinder Singh from City Suburb stole thousands of dollars from me. He changed terms of the contract constantly after signing, invented/added prices, and delivers poor work with his unskilled workers. He charged me $3000 for permits that he never got. After I gave him payment he refused to go get permits and ran off with my money. (Yes, permits were part of the contract that he signed) The concrete driveway he was hired to do looks like children laid it and is starting to crack. One part of it was pitched so wrong that I had to force him to redo it because all the water would have been dumped right into my basement window. He used different color concrete so there's a big patch that is just a different color now. None of the lines are straight and there are no right angles. His workers are very unskilled. The basement cinderblocks he replaced are already showing signs of water coming through. If I can prevent at least one person from falling victim to Ravinder Singh and City Suburb maybe I can finally let this go. There are so many more bad things that happened with these people but this review would turn into an essay if I listed them all. You know what you did Ravinder. I don't know how you sleep at night.

Performed excellent masonry work at my residence and cleaned up well upon completion. Crew arrived early on a Sunday and worked for six straight hours until job was completed. Would hire them again.

City Suburb did a great job with the challenging masonry repair and full roof replacement. Ravinder was in constant contact with me and managed the job effectively to the full completion of the job. Quality of the work is very good and I am confident it will hold up for many years to come. Very satisfied with my experience with City Suburb and regularly recommend them to other clients.

Ravi and his team do great work. Needed a few projects done over the course of a few weekends, including sealing the exterior to track down a leak, installing of pavers outdoors to replace a large patch of grass, replacing the front door landing, and getting the driveway concrete re-done. Everything was done well, his team is very heads down, show up early/on time, and get the job done. The projects were done on time and we couldn't be happier with the work.

Workmen started each day promptly and ended at scheduled end time. They worked hard and did high quality work. Work crew was professional and courteous. I have been discussing this project with various contractors (all from Angie's List) for a couple years. I decided to work with City Suburb after my first meeting with Ravi. I made the right decision and so will you by working with City Suburb.
