I am very pleased with the work that was done. I needed to have my entire roof removed and replaced. Paul and his crew not only replaced my roof they put up new gutters, replaced the roof hatch and put copper around the base of my chimney and skylight. The work was completed in a day and a half. I would gladly recommend City Suburb to anyone who needs roofing work done.

Everything was above average. The service was excellent, the timing, communication, and cooperation were great, and the work was satisfactory.

Paul of City Suburb Inc. responded to my call in short time and explained his services clearly. His estimate was the best of three. He and his crew did a very good job and cleaned up after completion of the project. Paul then made sure to take me on an inspection of the finished job to ensure my satisfaction. I am quite satisfied with the work that was done.

I called them that morning to come out for an estimate that evening, which they did. They called to confirm several times. These guys were great. So far so good. I had some minor cracking in the flat roof of a house I just bought. They were on par with what was needed as the others but since they had their stuff with them in the truck he was able to take care of the cracks with flash cement right then. What i liked most is he came down with his iphone to show me the work he was doing as it was going on. I liked that transparency. He took a credit card as payment.

I had to do some Brick pointing Work and have window lentil replace on the side of my 3 family house. I called City Suburb inc. City Suburb inc Showed up as Scheduled on 4/16/2013. install scaffolding remove old pointing,steam wash and re-pointed the wall cleanup after and replace all my window lentils

I called for an estimate on 4/13/13/. I was told someone would come to my house between 4:00 and 5:00 pm. By 5:00 no one showed up. I received a phone message at 5:40 wanting to know if I wanted to reschedule. There was no apology about not showing up. They called the next 2 days but I didn't take their calls. By not showing up or calling by 5:00 I decided they were an unreliable company.

all the siding from my house was blown off as the result of Hurricane Sandy, after calling about 5 different companies, some of which gave me appointment and never even honored such appointment. I then Found City Suburb Inc, online and called them. Mr Paul courteusly responded and gave me an appointment to give me a free , no obligation estimate. I liked the price and the material he would use and contracted them. the job was done in only 2 day (siding and roofing) and I was highly satisfied. Not only would I recommend them, but also will use their services in the future.

Everything went well and there appear to be no problems, such as leaks or missing shingles, though none of the storms we had this winter were as severe as the hurricane. We arranged the job on a Tuesday and it was done the Friday and Saturday of the same week. We would hire them again if we need work done on the roof.

I didn't have a good experience with City Suburb Inc. They agreed to a contract and then they forced the contract to change at the last minute. They agreed to prices in the contract but then they tried to up the prices. They were stubborn about it. They required pretty heavy supervision. Otherwise, they wouldn't do the job right. They did a sloppy job on most things. I thought they were kind of shady, a shady business that I had to be there the whole time to get the minimum of what I considered acceptable, for the money I was spending.

Called Paul and we set up an initial meeting for an estimate. Forwarded to insurance, received check, and contacted Paul again for the job. Unfortunately, the day of the job was the day after the Northeast blizzard hit, and the roof was too icy to perform work. I felt bad that he made the trip out and apologized, but he was very professional about it (we live 30 minutes and a bridge away from his place of business). We rescheduled, they came on time, did the job quickly and were on their way. It was a great experience.

So far no issues, will keep you posted.

My family incurred roof damages as a result of hurricane Sandy. I am a member of Angies List and located City Surburb through the rating that was posted. I contacted City Surburb, and they immediately sent someone out, who was kind, friendly thorough. A date was identified to fix my roof and siding, which was done within the next week. I would recommend City Surburb because they have great followup skills and are willing to work with their customers. I can say that I am satisfied with their work and will have no issues working with them in the future.

The gutter is still leaking, but they are coming back to fix it.

Everything went well, the job was done professionally and with good results. As of this moment I do not have a leaking roof, I do hope that this continues. The front steps leading to the front door were in bad shape and bricks were replaced and repaired. I was happy with the progress of the work and the workers, the job was done in under 3 hours. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and will use them again if necessary.

Paul from City Suburb showed up same day as I called with an estimate and came back the next day to repair the problem He was efficient, clean and totally professional in his conduct.

Paul, Came to give me an estimate and was very patient while I obtained estimates from other contractors. While other contractors were only willing to repair the small sections and larger damaged section they insisted on having to terra coat the enter back side of the house which caused those estimates to be very high. Paul was willing to address work on only the damaged areas and gave me an estimate accordingly. Once everything was agreed upn he was available to start work immediatly and finished 90% of the work in one day. Only the way he would call me over to inspect the work so that I was aware of what was being done and how it was being done. His work is excellent and the materials he used were suited for the repairs. He gave me a fair price and did excellent work and we are currently looking to complete some roof repairs. I would recommend him to anyone in need of masonry work. He may not be as aggressive as other contractors but he is very professional and does excellent work.

Very well, Paul was professional and receptive to feedback. There were many details he said he'd take care of and he did. (He needed a reminder about removing the ivy, but was eceptive and took it down). We called him today to fix some pointing that was missed on the side of the deck, and Paul said he was busy now but will get back to us when he has availability. We will update this review when it is complete, and then give an A for Quality. We'd also like to get the pictures of the repairs on the roof, if possible. We would definitely use Paul and City Suburb Inc again for further waterproofing. He is courteous, reasonable, and professional.

The work was fine and they left the same day. There was some debris left but nothing too serious.

Paul came out when called and gave and estimate. I originally was very skeptical of using him due to the very low quote compared to the others. I told Paul of my concerns and he reassured me that his work was top notch and that I will be pleased. The week before he was to do my job, it rained a good bit. Paul calle me the day before he was scheduled to come and told me that he would starting a day late. He showed up as promised and he and his crew were ready to work. He did the work as scheduled and kept me informed of the progress as the work went along. When the work was completed, I had a few issues and he fixed them. I am very pleased with his work. I plan to use him in the near future for other projects around my house.

They tore off about half of our roof, and then replace the area with new shingles. They did a good job, I can't complain. The only thing I didn't like was that he was too busy with other jobs, and he kept rescheduling me. I understand though sometimes they get busy, and you have to wait. I thought he was a little on the pricey side, but I would use him again.

Paul is an honest & reputable contractor. No hidden charges, no cutting corners. He was in contact with me each step of the process and discussed my questions professionally. The one draw back was that some of his workers were not as skilled as Paul and his brother, and required additional supervision. Once I discussed this with Paul, he immediately addressed the situation to my satisfaction. He is courteous and prompt. When there was a delay due to weather, he always called to re-set the appointment & kept the appointment. He did not 'leave me hanging' waiting for the crew to arrive. They accommodated my work schedule and I felt comfortable letting them work on the outside when I was at business. I plan to use them again for other related work.

They did an excellent job. Everyone was very nice and courteous. The crew was great and the job looks wonderful.

Garage wall was damaged by neighbor"s tree. Sighn gave a very good price. He was here 2 days later, got it fix in a hour, also seal a crack on the side of my house, for free.
