Working with City Suburb was a pleasure. I dealt directly with the owner Ryan through the entire process. I found City Suburb to be responsiveness and knowledgeable. Once the problem was identified, Ryan offered his recommendations and was quick to schedule the work. I live out of state but that didn't stop City Suburb from being flexible with arranging meeting times and communication. When I asked for some touch up work after the job was complete the response i got was "no problem" and a return visit was promtly made to my property. I highly recommend City Suburb.

Ravinder was very responsive and professional. He responded quick to my initial request to provide a free quote on the work involved. I'm a landlord, and it was great being able to work with him without having to be on site at all times. He was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule and got the work done within one day. Would definitely look to work with him again in the future.

The response was quick & efficient. The work summary was accurate. The price was within an acceptable range. The turnaround was quick. I appreciated the professionalism & respect & the attention to details.

I didn't think this was worth the 99 dollar package. I thought this should have been a free estimate. I wasn't very happy. Mr. Singh called to see if there was anything he could do to make me happy. He offered to refund the package deal and offered to do the job when I was ready. He also helped me with my door. I thought that was very Professional of him. To make sure the customer was satisfied. His jesture was greatly appreciated.

City Suburb did a great job and gave a 5 year warranty on the work. Ryan was responsive and easy to work with. The work was done quickly and as far as i can tell was done well. They are not inexpensive, but hopefully it was worth it it. I recommend looking into them if you need a roofing company.

They came on time. They went up on my roof and discovered that the leak was not coming from the roof itself but from an area dealing with the siding. He then was very honest with me by telling me that it was not a roof problem but that I need to have the siding repaired instead. I appreciated him for his professionalism and honesty. I would recommend this company and would call them again to do business with in the future.

Ryan returned my call prompty. He fit us in to take advantage of warmer weather, they were professional had all the right equipment worked quickly and cleaned everything up.

HE called ahead and was responsive to emails.

They did an excellent job. They took their time, normally these days everyone is in a rush and you don't see this kind of workmanship. They didn't use subs and made sure to do great work. Another suggested company had a much higher price when we used them before and we had some trouble. The price with City Suburb was very reasonable and we got a 10 year warranty.

It went well and they did a good job.

Everything went well. Ryan worked really well with us as far as planning and explaining the repairs. He took pictures along the way and kept us informed. We appreciated his attentiveness. The price was fair, they were always on time and finished on schedule.

My concern about price was that I paid the $100.oo for the "deal" which was supposedly worth $250.00 Then I was quoted a price of a thousand dollars to do the job. I said that I already paid $100 which was worth $250.00 according to the deal.so I should only be paying an additional $750.00 for the job. However, Ryan the owner did not agree and he charged me $900.00 so I would like to know what the "deal" was all about since it cost me $1,000.00 no matter what. Basically I do not understand how your deals are applied to the job. It is very unclear.

This was an emergency. My roof was leaking bad. They came promptly, they came when they promised. He was very polite. He stayed until he finished the job because the next day was supposed to be bad weather and he wanted to finish the job so the roof wouldn't leak any more. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needed a roof.

"Ryan" came out to look at the job. He was very nice and professional and told me that the job could not be done in the time allotted. Therefore, I felt that the "big deal" was not a deal for me.

I called them Saturday. They came that day and finished the job the next day. They are very nice and did a great job. They also gave a great price and a 10% discount for seniors.

I hope well. So far it's holding well and there is a one year guaranty

After a storm in our area in December, I checked angies list in order to get a roofer as soon as possible to my home. We had planned to have someone come in around the spring to do some general roof maintenance, but as luck would have it, the top apartment in my three floor home had some pretty serious leaks. Our last roofing work was done years ago and the provider was not available. I appreciated the fact that Ryan was able to contact me right away. I had purchased a "roof maintenance package" and they were able to come as soon I called them. He called me to originally set up a meeting to check out the scope of the work, and to actually go on the roof to see what needed to be done. He was kind enough to let my husband go on the roof with him and he explained everything in detail and pointed out what needed to be done. He collected a deposit and he was very flexible with payment methods and came to do the actual work approximately two days later (due to my scheduling). At the time of the work he allowed my husband to see what he was doing, and explained what he explained to me two days prior (thanks again!) Since it was in December, right around the holidays, and it is really cold-I really appreciated the promptness. We will be doing future work with this company when the weather is a little nicer for additional projects. I would recommend this company to anyone needing this type of work.

City Suburb Inc did a wonderful job. They repaired what needed to be repaired and did not try to make the job bigger than it was. They were professional and punctual. They explained in great detail what was being done and took photographs to show the work. We ere invited onto the roof to see the completed job. They also made some other repairs that were not originally in the agreement at no extra charge which goes to show that these are people who take pride in their work. I would gladly use then again if needed and recommend them to friends and family. They truly earned their A rating.

It went very well. They were very responsive to my text messages, very punctual and they did the job great. They would also send me pictures of the work in progress.

Ryan's quote was about $2000 lower than the two other quotes I got for this job although the details of the job sounded exactly the same. I'm having difficulty writing this review because Ryan is a great guy, but the quality of the work done is variable. There were several guys on the crew and I feel as though I can tell who did which parts. Ryan's pointing work was very neat and I'm extremely happy with those sections. The other workers weren't as neat and I can see mortar streaks under some of the vertical seams. I pointed this out to Ryan and he thinks that it will wear away over time and was unavoidable. I'm not sure about that, but it may well be that I'm the only one who will notice. I also had Ryan paint the cornices and I feel as though that work was a little messy also. Not that our old house was in immaculate condition before, but I can point to new paint drips and splashes on the surrounding bricks. I was also disappointed because when Ryan came to quote I specifically asked about the mortar color because the original mortar is a very pale sand color to match the limestone sills and steps. I definitely wanted to keep that. Ryan said he would give me three samples and I could choose which one I wanted. So imagine my surprise on day two when I see mortar being applied. And it's standard grey. Ryan tried to convince me that it would look fine, mostly, I think, because it was a Sunday and the place to get the other colors was closed. But I stood my ground and I'm extremely glad I did. The grey would have looked terrible. Ryan got the samples and the colors right later in the project, I just wish we'd looked at samples as discussed. Having said all that, Ryan was a very nice guy and communication was easy. I'm not unhappy with the job that was done but I just wish it had been done a little better.

All appointments were kept promptly. Price very reasonable. Good warranty [5 yrs] was provided.

Ryan inspected our roof and showed my landlord and me the cracks in it, the places where snow and rain could enter. He also examined the shingles at the front of the house and showed us that they needed to be replaced, although perhaps not as urgently as the roof needed replacing. He also examined the bricks at the back of the house and advised us that they needed pointing. Ryan was thoroughly professional and the fee he proposed to charge for his work was eminently reasonable: $4,320.00 for replacing the 1000 square foot roof and $990.00 for replacing the shingles. We did not hire him only because our landlord, who would be paying for the majority of this work, wanted first to try a much more modest fix for the leak we had experienced: flashing of the area on the roof immediately above the area in the ceiling where the leak had occurred. For this work, our landlord hired his own crew who had worked on renovating his apartment some years earlier. That crew came the same day and did this limited-area work. As I write this, a second snowstorm has hit the NY City area. My wife and I are keeping our fingers crossed that the limited procedure performed yesterday will be effective in keeping at bay the dreaded white wolf of snow-related leakage. Since Ryan spent time coming here and inspecting our roof, I gave him $100.00 before he left, even though I could have gotten away with just a thank you. Depending on whether we ever use his services, that money will count either as a generous tip or as a deposit on the work we will hire him to perform.

They were expedient, very fast and efficient.

As far as I can see they did a great job. They were very nice, helpful, and cooperative. I would definately use them again.
