After delays due to the weather, the work was started and completed in one day. An early start and the immediate removal of debris permitted the new roof to be completed by the end of the day. As with all jobs, unknown situations came up but Ryan immediately handled and solved them. All workers were extremely patient and pleasant. They answered all our questions and concerns as the work progressed. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who wants a job done right.

I had four other roofers address the problems. None of them accomplished stopping the leak. . My roof is now fixed.

Called Ravinder (City Suburb) regarding a leak on the second floor of a three story building. The leak starts every time when there is heavy rain. He claimed the leak is coming through the brick joins on second floor, which needed to be cut and re-pointed. The whole area that needed to be work on is about 50-60 sq ft. Initially, he quoted $2000.00 and later changed to 2500 because he needs to hang scaffolding which requires more work. I agreed to this price due to his reputation on this website. The work was done in 2 days. The same leak came back once in March 2014 when there was a lots of wet snow, but it has never came back since.

Excellent service and quality of work for the price. They came when they said they would. All of the workers were professional and courteous. They cleaned up the mess and removed all debris. It was a better experience than expected. I thought for sure that I would be ripped off or convinced to do costly unnecessary work. I feel that I could trust him. I plan to use them again real soon. They even installed my mailbox for me. I would definitely recommend them.

This job was done in two installments. The first part involved the gutter and the downspout. Ravinder came to the house and gave us an estimate. We agreed on a day for the work to be done and it was accomplished without problem. Shortlyafter this job was completed, we had a heavy shower and there was no leak from the gutter It took us a while to get Ravinder to get a man out for the rest of the work. We had a call a couple of times to ask him if he was going to do the job. He said he'd get back to us by the end of the week. We kept on waiting and thinking that maybe he had forgotten us, but at the very end of the week he did call and we set up a time for the work to be one. One man did all the work, from about 9 a.m to 6 p.m. We're hoping that the waterproofing cement will do the trick and keep water out of the basement. Though it did take a while for Ravinder to do the second job, I must say that his worker was very clean and hardworking, and Ravinder himself did not try to give us a hard sell. He came at the conclusion of the job to double check and to make sure that we felt comfortable with the work performed.

Paul had a special deal on Angie's List for $5,200 at the time. The price was right but it didn't work out. I also didn't receive the proof of insurance.

Even before the work started,Ryan promptly responded to my phone calls and text messages. He answered all our questions pertaining to the job. Men showed up on time and covered outdoor furniture on our neighbors side and also covered our neighbor's windows so as not to get debris on their property. Men worked constantly and were very polite and quiet. Work was completed in a timely manner even though the weather did not cooperate. The day after, Ryan called to see if the completed work was to our satisfaction. I mentioned a few minor concerns and they returned the next day to rectify. I would use them again for the following reasons: * You always get a quick response to your calls both before and after the job. * The workmen are courteous and neat. * They were concerned about my neighbors property as well as mine Called contractor back for additional work. Did not seem interested. I understand; it probably did not come under his sphere of work. I had 11% discount coupon from Angie's List with his companies name on it. Really didn't seem interested in honoring it or even partially coming to an agreement, which would have been fine. The process was fine from start to finish, but got stand-off-ish when I mentioned the coupon and said it was an Angie's List matter. I didn't mention coupon before the estimate, as you know how that goes. Who is responsible to honor the coupon, contractor or Angie's List? I think the contractor, correct?

We had a persistent leaking roof which many roofers tried to repair over the years. City Suburb offered a $99.00 big deal to make up to 4 minor repairs and to provide photographs of their work and of possible problem areas, if any that may need further attention. Ryan arrived and provided us with the photographic evidence of out water issues and suggested the solution. We went ahead with his solution, which included evening out the many valley's and gully's we had on the roof, where water was pooling, then eventually seeping into our home. Once it was completely evenly graded he covered the entire roof with a maintenance free rubber roofing material. He used a heated tar application to allow for an extra secure bond along seams and "problem" areas. He wrapped and sealed the material up the sides of our roof and used flashing for extra security. He repaired our flat roof all in one day. After, he provided us with photographs of the work. The deal $ was deducted, and we are leak free!

We started with high expectations. The offer was outside of his normal service area, but when we called him, he told us that he would stop and take a look, and if it was a small job he'd do it. However, when he got there, he gave us the impression he did not actually want to do this job. He told us it was way more than the deal was worth, but he would credit it towards a $700 estimate. He seemed in a hurry to get away and was impatient with us. He displayed no interest in doing the work.

Ryan reported job details and when he would be able to begin the job. He was punctual and finished the job within the contracted time frame. Ryan is very professionally and his workers are very polite. The day day the job was to begin rain was forecasted. Ryan called the the night before to reschedule. The job was completed within a 2 day time frame.

Ryan and his crew arrived when promised, and completed all work in 2 days. All of the workers were professional in every sense of the word: polite, caring, skilled workers, and concerned with leaving the entire job area sparkling clean, even after two long days of work. The repair work makes the house and stoop look like new.

Just hired city suburb to do a flat roof overlay. Rai came by right away and gave us an estimate. Very reasonable and he even came by again to meet us in person. Showed us photos and told us our options. We choose a new roof and he he did in one day within the week. It looks great and has a ten year warranty. Nice people and a reliable company. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Called City Suburb to schedule an appointment. The owner was very responsive and came about two days later. He called the day he was coming and called again when he was close to my house. Initially, I just wanted the mortar around my garage repaired, the disconnected downspout reattached and the gutters cleaned, but the owner noticed the gap between my house and the cement around it and said that should be repaired which I agreed with. He provided me with a written estimate for $1500 and I gave him a deposit. About two weeks later the work was performed. His crew completed the job but was not able to get the dirt off the outside of my gutters. He did not want to use a power washer because he was afraid it would chip the paint. He did alert me to this possibility when giving me the estimate. My husband paid him the remaining balance. When I came home from work I noticed some mortar around the garage was not repaired. I call City Suburb to let them know and I was told that in that particular section the cracks were not that bad so they did not repair it. I was disappointed and the owner sensed it, so he immediately called me back and said he would take care of it. I waited about two weeks and they came and fixed it. All in all I am very happy with the work performed. The owner is very nice to deal with and I would use them again in the future.

I chose City Suburb because of the positive reviews on Angie's List and the proximity of the business to my neighborhood. Ryan responded to my call quickly, made good suggestions and recommendations, and provided me with a written price quote. The job was started less than three weeks later. (Of course, we had to wait for more bad weather to clear before we could get started!). Ryan had originally anticipated that the job would take about two days; it actually took closer to three days, which did not pose any problem at all for me. I was glad to see how conscientiously his team worked. They were very cordial to my neighbors while the work was going on, which was very important to me. He was on the site every day to supervise his staff. When the work was complete, all debris was taken away and the area left clean and clear. Ryan was friendly and professional, explained everything clearly, and honored his original cost estimate, even though the project took a day longer than expected. It's clear that he takes great pride in his work, and that a job well done and satisfied customers are very important to him. The front steps look wonderful now, and I'm very pleased with the work. I will certainly recommend City Suburb to my friends and neighbors and won't hesitate to call them again when the need arises.

I purchased a Big Deal for a $99 roof maintenance package. I called him to schedule an appointment, our time schedules did not match for that particular time and then the bad winter started. He was a nice guy on the phone. I no longer need the deal, I need an entire roof replacement after the horrible winter.

Everything went fine. Started promptly at 8 am, wrapped things up by 7 pm. Cleaned up all debris. Checked the roof--everything looked well sealed and felt tight underfoot.

Ryan and his workers did a great job. Ryan was there the entire time to ensure a quality job. I will definitely be calling him to do others jobs on my home.

I assume that they did an adequate job. They were very late for their appointment with me and that caused me to miss work. They were very apologetic when they arrived.

Ryan and his brother supervised and the men were all were skilled laborers. They used the scaffold and ladders going up and down the three story house carefully. They were on time and worked diligently and cleaned up afterwards. I had to use the driveway of my neighbor in which I am very grateful for and the crew were ready to remove equipment to accommodate the cars that went in or out. In one week they were finished with the pointing and needed an extra day to do the down sprout. I was very satisfied with their work.

Things went very well. Ryan came to do the quote and was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and how we would need to wait for the right weather for the mortar to set properly (when I called the cold winter weather had just started to set in). Once the weather looked good he and his team came and did a great job getting the job done and keeping this disruption to the interior of the house to a minimum. It was a job that could have gotten a lot of dust into the house as well as stray mortar on the exterior of the house. They were careful keeping the windows sealed and covering and cleaning the exterior. I was very happy with the process and am also happy to have the work guaranteed, something like this is only really tested during the next big downpour. Given how good the new mortar looks I'm very hopeful the problem has been resolved.

I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and value I received from City Suburb Inc. I called them to request an estimate for a broken leader pipe and downspout in the back of my building. Within two hours, Singh showed up and gave me an estimate that was $1500 less than two other estimates I received from reputable companies on Angie's List. He thought outside the box and proposed a clever way to bring a large ladder into my backyard to keep labor costs low. He returned promptly a few days later with his team to do the work and charged exactly what he said he would. This company is very experienced, hard working and efficient. I highly encourage others to give them a try.

I had several contractors estimate the work. Ryan educated me to the process, listened to my concerns, provided good recommendations, won my confidence & offered a price below the competition. He is knowledgeable, his team prompt & the 2 day job was minimal disruption to my household. The job entailed brick pointing & sealing the entire rear wall & utility room of a 4 family brownstone, repairing damage to the roof & downspout. My cost was $5000 but I benefited from a City Suburb coupon which saved me $1000. Still, it was an unexpected repair & outside my budget. However, Ryan worked out a reasonable payment plan with me for ease of payment. It took over a month before they started the work (principally due to weather conditions) which resulted in quite a bit of water intrusion. There has been no precipitation since then so I am unable to discern the efficacy of the work but the work is warrantied for several years & that's comforting. I would use them again & recommend them to others.

We are very pleased with the professionalism and service. Ravinder actually came the same day we called about a serious leak. He provided a free estimate. Due to the multiple snow storms of the winter of 2013-2014 we had to wait for the snows to melt before the insurance adjustor would come. Neverthless Ravinder honored the estimate given a few weeks before. The day of the repair Ravinder and his helper arrived promptly and thery put in a a 9 hour day of solid work. Since I could not climb up on ladder Ravinder showed me the before and after pictures. Definitely recommend.

They cam in the snow! They were punctual, friendly , informative and proud of their work They worked all day to beat the next snow storm in freezing weather!
