Ravinder and his team exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to anyone. They were very responsive and did the work incredibly efficiently and professionally. They were exceptionally kind and cleaned up the site after all work was completed. I plan on using them again in the future!

We are really happy with the quality of work and professionalism. Addressing the issue of the corroded metal (which had become detached from the balcony and was hanging down) was tricky, but Ryan listened to our concerns and was able to address our needs with a solution that we felt comfortable with. Ryan is very responsive and easy to work with. The cost was reasonable compared to other estimates. We would hire City Suburb again.

Provider contacted me after I had explained that I was having exterior plumbing work done. Once it was completed I will schedule an appointment sometime in June. At that time the provider told me he "does not service the Bronx" even though the providers web page lists the Bronx as an area serviced. see below.Service AreaQueens, Brooklyn, Manhattan , Some Parts Of Bronx and Long Island

They were good. The cleanup wasn't that great. They came on time and were professional. Three of them came out. It was a dead tree and the wood chips were just flying all over. I think there's some still on the gutters and along the sides. The price was okay. The boss was polite and courteous. I didn't have any problems with him.

City Suburb, Inc was a JOY to work with. Not only did I have constant updates on when the work would be done / complete. The job was done above our expectations. To get the job done they had to access a neighbors property, which they requested permission first and were professional and covered all the exposed areas with drop cloths. I would recommend City Suburb Inc and will keep their contact information handy for any other work that may come up in the future.

Ravinder (Ryan) was very responsive and punctual. He gave me an estimate on the spot and began work as soon as permits came through. They worked quickly and the job turned out well.

I purchased a coupon through A. L. at $8999 for brick work. It was a 3-day job. On day 1 and 2, the motar was grinded out from between the bricks. Then the bricks were powered washed. On day 3, the motar was repointed. At the end of each day, the area was left clean. The workers were polite and worked hard. At the end of the job, Mr. Singh went over with me the work that was done! It should be noted that if you are going to have the brick cleaned, do not expect a big change in appearance. If you choose to clean brick with any product that is aggressive, you will remove the protective coating that was created when the brick was created.

The provider never followed-up on even beginning the job. We spoke once back in mid June, a week after I purchased a Big Deal and after that conversation, "Ryan", would make countless vague dates to begin the work, but never appeared. Even AngiesList customer service could not reach him after two weeks of trying, so they refunded me my money.

Ravinder and the team were extremely effective and efficient in their work. Communication with Ravinder was spot on. We laid out the work needed, he proposed the best solutions for our needs at a reasonable price. The team came and completed all the work in one day - unbelievable really. We were worried it might drag on like with some contractors but, no, the team were in and out in one day at the price negotiated. I highly recommend Ravinder and his team.

There was an odor coming from my bedrooms, did not know the exact location. I had removed, replaced the siding and the insulation thinking the odor was coming from there. Unfortunately that was not the problem. I hired a workman by recommendation that they are capable to do foundation work and to correct the problem. It was a big mistake I had made. I had spend so much money trying to fixed this problem until I got so frustrated did know what to do. I was talking with an attorney regarding this problem and he recommend me to Angie List. I immediately contact Angie List customer service the person I spoke with listen carefully to my problem and was very helpful by referred me to City Suburb inc the following day I received a call from Ryan. I s et up an appointment for a free estimate with Ryan to evaluate the problem and to give me a time frame when he will complete the job, he had told me two to three days. He started the job on the 7/17 completed on the 7/19 removed all the rubbish and corrected the problem with the foundation. I must admit that Ryan and his workers had done a remarkable job. He had ensure that all my requested was honor and done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Ryan and his crews for their knowledge, capability, honesty and professionalism style. Ryan is responsive and easy to deal with. He was realistic about his availability and how long the work would take. 1. He gave us a less expensive alternative to replacing our entire back gutter (and wood below) that runs the length of the house. They repaired the two ends, replaced wood, covered and painted to match. 2. They repaired area where round entry way roof (with spanish tiles) hits flat front of house by sealing and patching while also covering other exposed areas. 3. They cleaned and inspected all gutters. The work was done in a few hours and I believe the price was reasonable. In general, I think roofing work/prices are high but Ryan's quote seemed to make sense. I actually received an alternate quote that was more than 3x the price I paid from another angie's list vendor who seemed to be rushing the decision. I will definitely use Ryan again for other work like brick and concrete replacement.

Mr Singh and his large crew were punctual and professional. I was expecting a two day job and they did the work in one day and on a holiday weekend.

It went very smoothly and we are very happy with the results. He was very professional and careful.

After a difficult winter, several rows of steps on my front stoop had sunken and became a serious tripping hazard. As I share this stoop with my neighbor- whose section was not crumbling- my biggest concern was to match the color and style as close as possible. It was clear 3 rows would have to be removed & rebuilt, and everything else grinded out & re-pointed to match the new mortar. I also wanted to make sure any new bricks would match the existing bricks. Ryan offered an initial estimate based on photos I texted him, but I had some specific add-ons I wanted to make sure were understood, so I requested he come in person. (In fact, of the 5 contractors I called, Ryan was the only one who arrived on time to give an estimate.) With a better understanding of what my project would entail, his estimate was slightly below what others had provided, so based on this, his professionalism and excellent reviews I selected City Suburb. His team was very hardworking and courteous, and were able to complete my work in one day (9:30am-7pm). They were able to re-use many of the old bricks and when they couldn't, matched new ones very well. Their grinding and re-pointing work came out beautiful- so many contractors do a sloppy job, but not these guys. They cleaned up well and before I knew it my crumbling and ugly stoop was a distant memory.

The contractor said this work could be done in two days. I was amazed at the speed in which the steps were demolished in one day. Not only that, but new steps were already being laid the same day. The contractor and his crew did a thorough job and cleanup was extremely precise and the work was finished in record time. I will be calling City Suburb, Inc. again for additional work. Good weather helped move the project along. Ryan, the man in charge, was always available when I called him, which is an extremely rare thing and a tremendous help. His men are skilled, and very hard working, arriving by 8 am and not leaving before 6 pm for 5 straight days. His workers never abused meal breaks, and worked very hard all day long. City Suburb is not the least expensive nor the most expensive contractor we interviewed, falling just about midway in the quote department. I strongly recommend them and feel that going the cheapest route will not be advantageous. Just the simple fact that Ryan answers his phone 9 out of every ten times I called instilled tremendous confidence in their services.

Workers came on time, worked a full day and left the area as neat as when they showed up. They were courteous and very hard working. They were extremely competent throughout their work. The work took three days, exactly as promised.

He was very professional and I couldn't be happier. He arrived on time and the price was right. Ravinder Singh was very prompt and very personable. Excellent all around! We were very, very pleased and would recommend him to anyone.

Great experience from first contact -- Ryan was quick to get back to me and provided a detailed, written proposal right away. The initial reason for contacting him was water seepage in the basement, which he proposed treating by sealing the gap between brick wall of house and sidewalk and sealing edges of cornice where rain dripped down. In addition to this, the total scope of work included: new roof on house and porch, repairs and waterproofing of masonry on 2-story back wall of house, cement repairs on front and back exterior stairs, window caulking. There was good contact from Ryan throughout the project, crew worked consistently and fast (finished work in 2 days). The price was fair and we're very satisfied -- would highly recommend this company.
