Description of Work: Trying to get an appointment for an estimate was very frustrating because Ryan initially could not give me an exact time. Finally, when a date was set he didn't show up or even call to cancel. The next day he called to say he was busy and we arranged a meet the following day. The next day came and he called to postpone at the time he was supposed to arrive. I told him to forget it because he was unreliable.

Description of Work: I needed some brickwork done on my front stoop, so I contacted Angie's List by phone on April 27th because I had a question about the $500.00 Big Deal being offered by City Suburb, Inc. When I contacted the provider on April 27th, he asked me to send him a picture of my stoop, which I did. He called me back later that same day to say that he could probably do the work, but couldn't give me a date at the time. He finished the call by saying "If you don't hear from me by Friday, give me a call or send me a text." He sounded cordial enough on the phone, but his statement left me feeling that I was not important to him - he even expected me to follow up with him at the end of the week when I felt it should have been the other way around. He didn't seem eager to have my business; if he was, he would have said something like "I'll get back to you tomorrow to let you know when I can start the job." Instead, he expected me to contact him if I didn't hear back from him.

Description of Work: I purchased a $99 deal for a roof maintenance package in 2013. The service went okay. My wife was home for the service. It did not take them long to do.

Description of Work: Repaired entire roof. It went well there was only one problem with a Direct TV cable which wasn't addressed to my brother's satisfaction. But other then that everything went well.

Description of Work: City Suburb responded to my need for a relatively small job. They repaired loose pointing on my house front brick steps. They were ontime and completed the job in a half day. I will use them again.

Description of Work: I had a unique situation in which a leak needed repair, yet the structure of the roof needed to remain unaltered. This company found a most satisfactory solution.

Description of Work: City Suburb cleaned out and filled a crack in the foundation of my home. Ryan was very pleasant and professional. He did a good job and cleaned up the area after he was finished. It didn't take long. I would recommend him and would certainly use his services again.

Description of Work: Rayen came and gave me an estimate on my roof. He was on time and professional. He said the roof looks good except for some lose shingles that need to be replaced. He quoted me about $1500.00 to replace the lose shingles. He sent pictures of the roof. No work was performed. I have to replace a door that is on the roof leading to the attic, but Rayen does not do that type of work. I will call him when the door is replaced.

Description of Work: He inspected the roof, took a look at the chimney and took care of a shingle repair on the garage.

Description of Work: Paul quoted $1700 to replace a few bricks and repoint area behind downspout. He said the $300 for $99 coupon would bring the job to $1500. The math is off. I know he has to run a business. But I too have to work for a living and I would not respect myself if I paid almost $2000 to replace 10 bricks and repoint a fixed area behind a two story downspout. I am still looking to have it done by a professional mason.

Description of Work: I contacted this company because I need a total roof replacement. We made an appt. for them to come and give an estimate although the person I spoke to insisted it had to be at 7:30-8:00 am. We agreed on Saturday, the 15th at 9 am. Before we hung up I was asked if I had gotten other estimates I said that yes, I had gotten one. He asked me what I had been quoted and as I did not feel comfortable discussing this I explained that I wanted to hear his quote. He said okay and hung up. Regardless to say, nobody showed up for the estimate and I didn't receive a call to cancel the appt. either. I have since given the job to someone else.

Description of Work: Roofing had shown leakage, promptly and courteously Paul came by. He surveyed the Roof in question, determining that it was in fine condition except for the leaking portion, along the base of the chimney attached to the roof. Paul added sufficient tar along the base in a neatly professional manner. I was quite pleased with Paul's attitude, work ethic, and solution. Two days later I requested Paul return to help stop leakage I had also been experiencing in my basement. Paul again surveyed the area in question, determining that concrete repair on the base my home's rear bay window, along with silicone along the windows cracks would be the solution. Paul added sufficient amounts of both substances again quite neatly and professionally, and once again I was quite pleased. It has been eight days now since the work's completion, we've had very powerful rain since, I am delighted to say that not one drop of water has leaked either from the roof or in the basement. Excellent work! Paul's the best!
