I used their services this last Sunday to unclog the toilet. I was very pleased with their work. They were very fast, got here within an hour, solved the problem very quickly, and considering it was a Sunday morning it was great. I would definitely like to recommend them to other people.

As stated above we were very pleased with the service performed and plan on using Michael's plumbing & heating in the future.

Answered my initial call and promised to come that afternoon to diagnose problem. Michael came as promised and determined the problem. Promised to be back with parts next day and did return as promised. Repair was completed promptly and he worked on another minor issue with a faucet when requested. Michael was prompt, professional and the charges were very reasonable. I will be calling on him for my future plumbing needs. I will recommend his services to others without hesitation.

I called Michael's Plumbing on January 28 to make an appointment and get an estimate for a water pressure boosting system. He called back several days later and we made an appointment for Saturday, February 2 10AM at our home. At 11AM he called to say his helper never showed up, he was sorry, could he come by an hour later. We said no.

All went well. Mike is very thorough and takes time to diagnose & troubleshoot the issue. Was efficient with his time.

I came to my country home to find the power had failed and been off since November. I got it restored but the small heater that keeps the pipes from freezing wasn't on and of course they froze. This all discovered late on a Saturday night. After signing up here at 7am I found Mike's service and called at 7:30am on a Sunday expecting to leave a VM. But Mike picked up the phone and I told him about the situation. We was able to shuffle some things around and be at my place by 10am. There were many breaks so he was here for two hours fixing one after another. He got them all done and everything was back in order. In terms of response time, getting the job done and cost I don't think it could have been better. I figured I'd be waiting until Monday and lucky to get water again by Tuesday. Mike really came through and I will definitely use him again for any plumbing jobs that come up.

Mike was very punctual, and came extactly when he said he would, although this was after usual work hours. He was thorough in his approach to the problem, and provided both a temporary and permanent fix. His work was precise, and timely.

This is my second time calling Michael. Each time Michael found a way to get the job done cheaply and efficiently. I will definitely call on him for any future plumbing work.

It went well. He was professional, spent time on each project and was not short tempered when the job took a longer time, since more problems were found.

I was truly impressed by Michaels Plumbing. We called and he told us when he would be in the area to look at what needs to be done. He showed up when promised and gave us a day/time he would be there, how long it would take and approximate cost. The day of the job he was a bit late due to bad weather but called to say he was running a little late which was understandable. He got to the house and went to work. He finished the project in less time than predicted and for less $ than predicted! He was clean, professional and everything I hoped he would be. I couldn't be happier and would call him again and most certainly recommend him!

I had a leak around my toilet and called Michael's Plumbing. Michael answered the phone and discussed my problem with me. We scheduled a time and date for him to come out that worked with my schedule. He came at the scheduled date and time, calling beforehand to let me know he was coming, as I had asked him to do. He fixed the problem in less than an hour. He did a good job fixing it and there have been no problems since. At every step Mike was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I'm very satisfied with the experience and plan on calling him again the next time I have a plumbing problem.

Mike responded quickly to my call and came as soon as possible. The faucet was installed quickly with no issues.

Called to let me know what time he was coming. Very professional and courteous. Had to leave and go and buy some parts. Came back and finished job. Came back a month later to make a readjustment... Came promptly when I asked him to.

Same day service. Professional, courteous.... a great experience. Highly recommend.

Old toilet, tub spout, and bathroom faucet had to be replaced due to mineral deposits from the water system here. Had difficulty removing the old faucet, and had to cut off washers that had frozen up in order to install new one. He cleaned up things nicely as he worked and left no mess behind. Was very punctual and personable. Hourly rate on labor was a bit higher than expected but he wasted no time and his work was satisfactory.

I decided to call Michael because of the many good reviews even though I had read reviews about Michael not returning a customers call. I dismissed the comment, assuming that, perhaps there had been some kind of mix up in communication. I gave Michael a call asking if he could come look at the job(water heater replacement) and suggest options. He arrived as he said he would and after some discussion I asked if he could email me an estimate. I assumed he would need a couple days to get back to me but after a week of not hearing from him, I decided I would try to contact him again...gave him the benefit of the doubt since this was around the time Hurricane Sandy had hit I thought maybe he ran into some problems. Again, no response. Michael has an excellent rating, overall...but, if your in a situation like I am...no hot water...and you need something fixed pretty quickly...think twice about calling Michael.

We are in the process of preparing the house where the leak was discovered for our move at the end of the month. We are having extensive electrical work done and the leak had to be fixed before electricians could get to work in the basement. Michael could have told us we need anything from the new seal he installed to a total replacement of the plumbing system (we are after all rewiring the 75 year old house already) but he only fixed what was wrong and at our request suggested some upgrades that we might want to do after we move in - nothing approaching major renovations. He responded quickly and did not take advantage of us when time was f the essance! He will be our new plumber!

We called Michael to help diagnose and repair a shower mixing valve that would not provide any hot water. He was quick to respond to our phone message and set up an appointment with my wife. He arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, left briefly to pick up parts at a local plumbing supply, and returned to replace the defective valve. Everything is working fine now. We were very happy with his professional service.

Mike made an appt .to come to see the situation and to give me an estimate. It seemed reasonable since some other estimates were particularly higher. Mike really took the time to listen..and consider the options. No firm app. was made at first because he was pretty busy at the time.But he did get back to me. He and his helpers were punctual and very pleasant to deal with. . They worked hard and worked quickly. They actually found the source of the ocasional flooding ! Finally someone found the answer! It was a great relief! And to our surprise the job came out cheaper than the original estimate. I would definitely work with him again.

repaired waste lines during first visit. Gave estimate on shower remodel, came at scheduled time and competed the job within a few hours. Very good service. Professional, friendly, did not waste any time on the clock, had all materials with him, cleaned up after himself.

Mike did an excellent job. He came on a Saturday on relatively short notice. He was polite, gave me an estimate and them completed the job once I gave him the go ahead. He explained in detail the work he did and why he needed to do it. I would use Mike again later and recommend him to friends and family. He is definitely in my contacts.

By the time he came out it was working again. He said that he though he knew what the problem was and thought it would be best to wait and see if it quits working again. I was pleased that he did not try to sell me a new part.

All good. On time, friendly, thoughtful. The thermostat failed & they replaced it within the week.

Michael is a true professional! I left a message for him late Friday evening (explaining that it really wasn't an emergency) and he returned the call first thing Saturday morning. After asking me a few questions, he said he would pick up the required parts and come by the next day to do the repair -- even though it was a Sunday. He turned up promptly, did the repair, and presented me with a very reasonable bill, without even charging me overtime. Very simply, I have never found a better plumber and am happy to refer him to all my friends!

Michael showed up a little late but completed the work on time. He also informed me that I would need a new gas meter from Central Hudson, since the original one would not be able to handle the appliances and the new generator. Michael called Central Hudson and handled everything!!! He made the appointment and met the service crew from the gas company and the new meter was installed and I didn't even have to be there. Michael also took care of the work permit and the inspection of the installation work. I would use Michael for all my plumbing work.
