I had come home on A griday night from work to find that my water softner had sprung a leak. I had water coming out of the unit like niagra falls. Being it was a friday night I thought I was out of luck. However, Mike showed up within a few hours. He had informed me he had some things to do first but would come. He did show in the time frame stated and gave an estimate, byassed the unt so I could have water to the house while he repaired the unit. He had come back on Saturday for the repairs. He worked professionally and was friendly. Put my concerns at ease. I would hire him again. I also would refer him to others.

Michael was able to come the day I called. I had a gas odor from my gas fireplace when the gas valve was in the on position. Michael was able to perform tests to find out where the leak was, and was able to determine it was a loose connection and remedied the problem.

We were very happy with his work and prompt response and would recommend him.

I called Michael at 6:30 PM and told him of my problem. My bathtub and sink with both clogged and wouldn't drain. I live in the area and he came to my house within 45 minutes. Wow that was fast. He was punctual, polite and had a great demeanor. I told him of my issue and saw what was going on and he began working. He was very clean. When he was using the snake or auger or whatever you call it in the bathtub, it got a little messy in the tub, but he had a cleaner and cleaned the tub while he was working so it wouldn't stain the cast iron. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows what he is talking about. In the end, he was able to unclog my sink and bathtub. He even asked me if there were any other plumbing issues in the house. He saw the water pressure in my house was a little low. He went down to my basement and fixed it immediately. I was extremely happy. He also recommended other services I need for my boiler that "The Big Name Company" who I pay every year top dollar to service my boiler never did. He did all of this in about an hour and 15 minutes which was great. His prices were extremely fair and will be calling him for ALL of my plumbing issues. If you want a quality plumber who has fair prices, knowledgeable and at the end not feel that your getting ripped off or trust in your home, call him FIRST.

Mike called me back within a day (I had left a message saying it was not an emergency and that I wanted to make an appointment) and we scheduled for later that week. He had an earlier appointment that day but called me when it was done (earlier than he anticipated - which was great). He came over, looked at the piping and went right to work. He had everything he needed in the truck and was done in about two hours. Mike was neat and the work reflects this. We talked a bit about switching to a on-demand water heater and he gave me a sense of the budget. We will be using him again when we want to switch (or if anything else pops up in the meantime).

I called and left a detaied message on their machine and received no call back.

I called Michael on Friday, June 1st, at approximately 5:45 pm. He answered the phone promptly and professionally. I explained my plumbing issue. He diagnosed the issue over the phone and explained to me what I need to do to stop the leak until he was able to get to my home. He told me that he would try to arrange his schedule to get to my house on Saturday. He called me back Friday night and told me that he was able to rearrange his work for Saturday and would be over around 10:00 am On Saturday he arrived promptly with his Assistant. He fixed the problem very quickly and also gave me some advise on what to do with the floor and wall to prevent mold. We spoke about some other work to be done at my home. Michael was extremely professional and caring. He was able to squeeze me in at the last moment. I would highly recommend him,

Michael is what quality service is all about. It is difficult to find tradesmen with the level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication that he exhibited. He will be our "go to" plumbing and well service man from here on out. He was prompt to return our call, scheduled us in as quickly as possible, spent as much time as needed listening to our concerns and explaining his findings as he diagnosed our water pressure issue. After inspecting all the equipment and running some tests, he honed in on the problem which was a leak in our well system. Next, he was on the phone ordering the needed equipment and parts which included a new well pump and all new piping. This man worked out in the pouring rain as a lightning storm passed through our area! What more can I say?? The job was completed the same day, which was totally unexpected and we now have water pressure like we never thought possible. The price was extremely fair, especially considering the degree of labor involved in this repair job. Michael comes at the highest possible recommendation. He is truly a rare find and I'm so glad I found him here on Angie's list. If you have any plumbing issues and/or well system issues, Michael is your man.

A very positive experience. There was no BS or double talk. He's a one man operation, i hope he can hire more employees like himself. The price was fair. I would highly recommend him for future jobs.

We called Mike on Saturday and he said he could come over on Sunday morning - even though it wasn't an emergency. Plus, he told us there was no Sunday charge. He was a little tardy, but not a big deal as it was a Sunday morning, afterall. He snaked the drain, fixed the stopper and was a very professional and pleasant man. His rate was quite reasonable and he didn't leave a mess in the bathroom! Mike will be our go-to-guy and when asked, and I have been a few times over the years, to recommend a plumber, I will recommend Mike.

He made the repair for me. If you have a problem that requires a second visit, he doesn't mind coming back.

Returned our call within a day. Came next day did washing machine 1st. Order coil for water heater came back when in came in 2 days later. Call came same day completed work.

The exact location of the clog was not obvious but his diagnosis was correct and where to start snaking the line turned out to be right. This saved a lot of time and cost I'm sure. He was professional, precise and careful throughout the job.

I called Mike based on his excellent ratings on Angie's List. He was very professional on the phone and seemed to be interested in the work. He told me his schedule availability and gave me a 2-3 day window whent he would be near my area. He said that he would call me when he is going to be nearby so he could some take a look and give me his evaluation.Well, that's the last I every heard from him, and I was actually quite disappointed, as he was the highest rated plumber I found.

We had water flowing back into a basement bathroom instead of out due to a clogged line. Micheal called back right away even though it was late and came out promptly. He was able to stop the leak to prevent any further damage to our home. He stayed to make sure the job was done right and no more water was coming in. He called the next day to make sure everything was okay and was extremely personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. I am glad we called Micheal and would call him again if we needed.

Michael arrived as promised and efficiently made repairs to our plumbing. He took care of the immediate problem, which interrupted the water supply of the entire house. In addition, he found and explained to me what was wrong with our boiler, and then corrected it. I would recommend his work to friends, and will ask him to help us again, when the need arises. We appreciated receiving a copy of his invoice in an email.

My toilet was leaking, so I went on Angie's list in order to find a good plumber. At the top of the list was michael's Plumbing. His overall rating in every category was an " A" in 42 reports. That's impressive. I figured that this is the guy, and I didn't even look at anyone else. I called Michael, who answered the phone himself. No leaving messages and waiting for someone to get back to you. We set up an appointment for the following week. I called Michael in the morning to confirm. He showed up when he said he would. Actually a little early. He was a really nice guy, and very professional. He fixed the leak from the toilet, and replaced some rusty hardware. While he was there, I asked him to take a look at a leak under our sink, and he fixed that as well. I also told him that I had a leak in the basement where the water line comes through the wall for our well. He went to his truck and came back with some Hydraulic cement, and took care of that leak also. I was very happy with his service, and will be using him again in the future. I highly Recommend him to anyone looking for a good plumber!

On Nov. 14 mike Burell contacted me about replacing my hot water heater & two bathroom faucets because I found him through angie's list. He said he had an opening for Wed, NOV 16, 2011. By 3o'clock I hadn't heard from him so I went out for awhile. Later that evening we spoke again & he said he called @ 4:30 but no one answered, so of course he didn't come. He had my home number as well as my cell phone number, had he called my cell I could have been back home in 15 minutes to meet him. I didn't realize he expected me to stay home all day waiting for him to come. We had another conversation when i got home that same day & set up an appointment for Fri afternoon, Nov. 18,2011. Usually I'm off on Fridays & do my errands, but that morning my boss called & asked if I could work. I had to say no, because Burell was suppose to come that afternoon. I stayed home all day waiting for him and he never showed up. So not only did I lose six hours of pay which I can not afford to do I wasted my day off from work, when I could have completed my errands, after work. I called Burell at 5 o'clock that same evening and asked where he was! His only response was, he wasn't coming & he forgot to call! He didn't even bother to apologize. He showed a total lack of respect for me as a future customer. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I was awakened by my wife telling me the cellar was flooding. With my eyes on the floor, it was a while before I discovered that pressurized water was coming from behind the washing machine. My wife had called a plumber by this time and left a message. I went to Angie,s list and called Michael's Plumbing. He answered and told me that he was on a high priority job and that he would be able to come around noon. Around noon he told me that he'd come across an unanticipated glitch and would get to me as soon as he could. Around four that afternoon he pulled up. He was able to scramble above and behind the washer and diagnose the problem. The rest of the story was a wrap up proposition. He did what he needed to do and I was completely satisfied. The seeming high price included transportation time from where he had been. After he left we got a call-back from the local plumber my wife had called that morning.

Thank God for Mike! He solved many problems that other "professionals" failed to do. It is great to finally find a person that you can trust and depend on.

He came prepared. His price was labor and materials. He did all the work in 3.5 hours. He was on time, efficient, clean. The repaired items have been working without problems or leaks. Mike seems concerned that the repairs are fixed for the long term--we will see.
