Description of Work: Tension spring and steel wire rubbed against air ducts and cut into it. Adjusted pulley mount and now works perfectly. Two technicians for ~30 minutes. Very reasonable.

Description of Work: Replaced a broken spring for garage door. The big wind-up springs. I don't remember the cost but I believe it was reasonable. The work was done a few months ago. Very prompt and professional. I would use them again.

Description of Work: My door was an obsolete model so they could not purchase new panels. fortunately they had enough old stock to replace two of the three damaged panels, and repaired the third. |They adjusted the price for old stock vs new, and even serviced my other door at no additional cost. |The new panels were brighter, but with time they are fading a bit to match the others so OK. Saved me the cost of replacing two doors so that i would have a matching set.

+ -1 moreI contacted Dutchess Overhead Doors looking for information. They responded promptly and the company's owner, Dan Madsen, came to my house within a few days to look at the job. He gave me a verbal estimate on the spot and followed with both an e-mail copy and a paper copy. Dan estimated that it would be three or four weeks before work could begin. I sent in a check for half the cost . The installation occurred within four weeks. The installer removed and hauled away the old doors, did a little extra work on the garage door frame, and installed new tracks for the doors to run on. He was precise, knew what he was doing, and cleaned up. I'm very satisfied with the result.
Description of Work: Dutchess Overhead Doors replaced two old and damaged wooden garage doors with two steel doors. They look good and work very well. I'm not sure if the price I paid was the lowest available as other garage door installers did not return calls, but the price for the two doors, $1930, seemed reasonable, the installation took four hours, and I'm pleased with the result.
