It went very good. Mike was able to accommodate a larger vanity into our bathroom with a few tweaks.

Sr. Tech listened to and glanced at sytem, said everything is fine. I wouldn't waste your money. The owner said that their is virtually no service needs for my forced air propane furnace. I wish he had told me BEFORE I ordered this service. It took about 20 minutes. The tech only vacuumed out the furnace, which I could have done in 5 minutes. The owner told me that he would reimburse me for the "service" if I was unhappy - I never heard from him again, he didn't reimburse me.

They were very nice over the phone and apologized because they do not service my area. When I searched on list this company and the great deal came up. Disappointed but life goes on.

All in all, I'm very happy with the responsiveness, neatness and the workmanship I received: When I called at around 7 to 7:30 am, I got the answering service who was pleasant and she took down the necessary information. I'd say that within an hours time, the owner called me back took down some more information and gave me some options as to what type of WH options I could go with should the WH have to be replaced. He also emailed me some WH literature. He said that by 10 AM he could have someone out to check the WH and sure enough, by 10 AM, Tom, the plumbing mechanic was there. Tom first checked if anything simple was causing the leak (i.e. check the pipes and connections leading to the water heater). Unfortunately, it was in fact a faulty WH tank. So he then sent the serial numbers of the old WH to the office to check if it was still under warranty. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty (it was 10 years old). So he consulted with the office and very shortly after that, I had an emailed estimate to consider of the various options - tank-less vs tank. While considering the options, Tom offered to drain the 75 gal WH. I asked what that alone would cost should I not go with their outfit. He said it was complementary. After I decided to go with their outfit, they were able to install it that same day. It arrived within an hour or two and it was pouring rain! Now for the worrisome part... how are they going to not make a mess or drop it getting the old one out and the new one in with 2 flights of stairs to contend with... a full set of basement stars and stairs leading up to the deck off my kitchen. Tom laid out card board in the house and they were able to get it out and in without making any mess. Both Tom and the delivery person also wore shoe covers. Finally, once the new WH was down the basement, Tom plumbed it in and did a nice neat job! Since the WH was not a simple drop in, he had to do some adjustments to the PEX water lines; the copper leading up to the PEX; the 4" PVC ventilation pipe and the gas line to the WH. He also had the right tools to work with my PEX (Brand: Wirsbo) so he was able to use the fittings designed for that type of PEX so it looks like a pro job.

Dan was out on a job out of town, but he called us very early the next morning and came right away. He found two separate issues and took care off them. He was competent, very pleasant, and we felt he was honest. I'll gladly hire him again.

Technician arrived on time, was pleasant and did the job with no assistance needed.

Excellent ... would and have recommended them to friends. They know what they are doing!! I had interviewed around 12 to 15 different companies and I am very happy to have selected D Rohde.

Luckily while Mike was here I was told that in addition to the cleaning I needed to replace the old wires that lead to the emergency shut-off switch on the wall. I'm so glad he found this additional problem when he was here, otherwise he may have had to come back again when it stopped working entirely. After he left all seemed well. And when I started hearing odd sounds coming from the furnace each night, I began to worry something else was wrong and possibly dangerous. When I called I requested the owner, Dan try to stop by to see what it could be. The woman on the phone was so gracious and kind, I didn't feel foolish asking for a re-visit and she made sure to pass the message on to him. He showed up a day or so later even though this is a VERY busy time of year for them and after checking my furnace again he assured me it was fine and that any sounds I might be hearing could simply be the fan revving up or slowing down. Nothing to worry about. So, when he left I felt so much better and safer and he didn't charge me for this extra visit knowing that it was all part of their original offer to check my furnace. Plus, as the kind and decent person he is, he also fixed a little problem I was having with the stopper in my tub! I will be sure to call on them the next time I need service due to their incredible kindness, honesty and reliability!! Thank you, Dan, Mike and Sue!!

Tom came and did service on boiler. Very nice guy did job and explained what he was doing. Gave estimates on some other things but wasn't pushy. Will definitely use them again!!

The beginning of the work seemed great but as I am become more knowledgeable about sump-pump and valve and plumbing work, it appear that they use the cheapest material which caused me to spent more money and hire another company to fix D. Rhode's work.

They were excellent. The technician that came out was very professional, courteous, he worked quickly and was neat from beginning to start. I would absolutely use them again.

Everything was excellent except that the Tech did not check for Co2 leaks. Other than that, excellent knowledge, professionalism, etc. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

The work was efficient, and these guys showed up on time, quietly did their work and at every step of the way, inspired confidence in what was a significant job. As long as I live in New Hamburg, Dan Rhode is the plumber to whom I will turn for ALL my heating & hot water needs. You can't go wrong this this company and I give it my highest rating, something I rarely do.

Dan came out to review the job and I was given a prompt estimate. The estimate was the middle price of the three estimates that I got, but was by far the most thorough. Dan explained everything fully and gave me lots of options. The job involved installing a new central air conditioning system, including all duct work. They gave me a start date and the workers were always on time and very professional. They were very respectful of my home and cleaned up well at the end of each day. The installation went very smoothly and I am thrilled with the work. I would highly recommend them.

What a great experience from first estimate to completed job! All appointments were on time and every employee was friendly and helpful. I had an estimate a few hours after the first visit. It was the lowest of 3 companies and had options. Dan was very patient and answered all my questions. I never felt pressured into purchasing one system over another. The install was very clean and on time. Very highly recommended!

It was just that he quoted on the lowest quality equipment's whereas my own guy for the same price would have used a higher level of equipment. He was right on time.

They did a great job. They had a very reasonable bid; explained all of the possible options, and their reasons for their recommendations; got the job done on-time and in a day and cleaned up well afterwards; and have been very responsive when called for help with minor glitches.

I've used this company before and I am still impressed by how great they are. They were quick to make an appointment and came on time. Good listeners for having the problems explained to them and knew immediately what would need to be done to fix our problems and concerns. They did a very thorough job. Our AC unit had not been serviced in while (we had only bought the house less than 2 years ago). Cleaned it up, sealed the leaks and got it running so efficiently that we wondered if it was even turned on because it ran so silently! The cold air seems colder and our upstairs bedrooms are more than comfortable in this 90 degree heat. They also gave our boiler a once over and alerted us to get some things fixed before the fall - which we will with their company!

It did not happen because the plumber did not show up for the scheduled appointment and he did not call that he could not make it.

I called to see if I can get someone to give me an estimate on a possible clogged pipe. I told him what happened this morning and told him that I do have another appointment later that day with another plumber. I want to get the best deal and wanted to get a couple of quotes. This F'n guy said that he didn't think it would be worth the trip for his guy. I expressed to him that this is something that needs to be done today. He proceeded to make excuses. As a new home owner, I want to make sure that I deal with a professional who will help me take care of my investment. I don't need someone who is a coward, scared of competition. The funny thing is that his appointment would have been 1st and I would most likely have gone with him. Whatever! The lack of professionalism! You just lost a customer and I hope others read this and chose the next plumber.
