The company sent 1 person to install. The tech complete the install. The water heater was too heavy for one person. I had no choice to assist. I have now sprained my back. I emailed the company and left several messages for my warranty, and requested my warranty which was assured over the phone. Took a very long time to receive warranty. Disappointing experience.

They were very professional and thorough. Will continue to use their services in the future.

I thought the price was reasonable and he reminded me that I should probably be getting an annual check-up anyway. He did not find the problem, but gave me an outline of the possible next steps if the problem was to happen again. He was very prompt, calling to give me his est. arrival time, and professional. All in all, I would definitely use him for problems in the future.

.Last yr , we were told that our a/c freon is low. When they came back, the freon is gone which is unbelievable. They said they could not find the leak but believes there is . I appreciate that they tried to find it but for them not being able to find it is not a good sign. They recommended a new one but I will have to try to have it fixed before thinking of buying a new one.

Technician showed up on time, was very professional, respectful and friendly. He did a complete service on the gas furnace. I will be having them back to service the central air conditioning unit. I highly recommend them

The person performing the work were relatively punctual and very professional. I don't recall the guys name, but he was super polite and kind. He performed the work in a reasonable time frame. Only concern was the price of the parts, thought it was a bit higher than I'd known, but I'm no professional so I can be wrong. My sink pipe is no longer leaking or popping off and flooding my floor so I'm very satisfied. I'm in the process of hiring them for more work.

They were professional and responsive. I am quite happy with the outcome. There were between 1 to 3 people here doing work and it took around 5 days to complete the job.

Throughout the course of a day, noticed less and less hot water. Even though the problem seemed to correct itself, for over a week we called on a different company that we had used previously with great success. We figured that was a warning and we wanted it looked at and fixed. The other firm never returned our calland naturally on a Saturday late afternoon, the hot water totally quit. This time we tried D. Rhode and left a message. Whithin an hour they called us. Mike came out the next day (Sunday) at around 12:30. My husband and he worked on the problem together for an hour and a half with him explaining everything as he went. Fortunately he had the necessary part on his truck so everything began working properly in short order. We have some other work that needs to be done and we will definitely be calling them again.

I am completely satisfied with their work, their pricing, their punctuality, and their time spend with me explaining exactly what needs to be done and how they will do it. provider told me he'd be at my house between 10 and 12 and showed up at 11. No complaints about that He showed up and went right to work. My main reason for hiring Rohde's was to clean my furnace but also show him a leaky part that needed to be replaced. He assured me that it was a common part to be replaced and charged an extra 60 dollars or so to replace the part. His part stopped the leak and stopped the problem. Provider went above and beyond to take the time to educate me with what he was doing while he was doing. To me this is very important when a service provider is in my home. These provider's get the best reviews when they do this. Not only quality of work is important but education too. We discussed future projects that i plan to re-hire them for and i plan to re-use their services in the future

Provider arrived right on time. Cleaned and replace a part in the furnace. Explained about a new unit that would replace both furnace and hot water heater. Needed to replace a thermostat. Total time was about an hour.

Dan came right away after I called. He looked over the entire furnace and replaced the leaky part. He showed me other possible parts that might give trouble in the future and explained how and why. We discussed options for replacing other parts with NO pressure to do so at that time. I felt he was honest and informative. He told me that he was not "trained" in the System 2000, but the problem I was having was simple to fix. He spent well over an hour between examining, going out and buying the part and replacing it and only charged me about $100. ( I forget exactly.) Dan was polite and serious and I made sure to attach his business card to the furnace in case I needed him again. He gave me a senior and an AngiesList discount.

Dan was very courteous and professional, he returned my call promptly and answered all of my questions. So far (as of 3/7/14), we received an in-home estimate and a written proposal. I am definitely going to hire him to replace/intsall the boiler in my townhome. I am confident that he will do a great job and will check back in once the work is completed.

Replaced boiler with Buderus 4 section gas boiler with new zone valves and expansion tank. Replaced water heater with Buderus S32 indirect water heater. Installed Honeywell AQ25142B outdoor reset control and Honeywell RTH2300 Thermostat. Redirected all existing plumbing and gas lines to new equipment. We originally purchased a 22 point furnace cleaning special (Sunday 3/9) that was advertised on Angie's List because our old boiler was shutting down automatically due to redirected flames that were shooting out from under a protective plate. The special indicated that we would be hearing from the service within 3 business days, when I reached Dan Rohdes (owner) on The following Monday to explain what was going on with my system, he scheduled an appointment for that evening, however, I missed the confirmation call, so Dan rescheduled for first thing in the AM on Tuesday. Dan arrived promptly on time and inspected my furnace, when he was done, he advised me that because of what was going wrong with my system, he would need to take apart my furnace to properly fix the problem with no guarantee that the issue would not recur. Prior to this issue, my wife and I spoke about replacing the water heater so we inquired about the cost of replacing both the furnace and water heater with a more efficient system. The price that Dan gave us was reasonable when compared to estimates we received from friends who recently had similar systems put in. After agreeing to the price and system, we scheduled for the system to be installed the next day. The new system arrived around 8:00 AM and Dan arrived shortly thereafter with his brother Mike. The entire job took approximately 8 hours to complete which I thought was fast considering the amount of work that was done. It's been over a week since the system was installed, and we are very happy with it. Our only concern with the new water tank was switching from a 50 gallon to a 32 gallon tank since we are a family of 5 with 2 people who like to take baths every day instead of showering. So far we have no issues with lack of hot water. Using the furnace to heat my hot water seems to be more efficient. But only time will tell when we receive our bill. It's important for me to point out that Dan Rohdes is a NYC Fire Fighter and his insight regarding fire code helped me in my decision to have a new system installed and gave me confidence that the job would get get done rights. My experience with D.Rohde Heating and Plumbing has been a pleasant one. Both Dan and Mike have been professional, responsive and very willing to stand by their word...and their work. They replaced a power venter that was about 15 years old. It was no longer sealed as it should be and fumes were escaping and were being circulated to my living space above the garage. It was a difficult problem to diagnose and after numerous service calls from other heating companies, this repair has finally solved the problem. Dan was very accessible by phone and was extremely helpful even when the weather complicated and delayed the delivery of the part. The power venter was installed by Mike and he was happy to explain, in detail to me, what he was doing as he made the repair. Both Dan and Mike are conscientious and take their business quite seriously. He was very nice and businesslike. He didn't try to sell us a bill of goods, he just answered the questions we had.

Went fine- the assistant spent several hours trying to find out whyy the system wasn't working. In the end I think the prior company had actually put a fews wires togehter "backwards" and that was the real problem. Once that was determined the system now works again.

Was on time, checked everything that was supposed to get checked. Would use again.

Dan showed up on time and was very helpful in answering my questions and recommending service. He did a water test for me to see the extent of the water problems I told him about. He also is looking into adding a piece of equipment to help my furnace run more efficiently and will replace the rod in my hot water heater which is making the hot water smell like sulfur. I received an email very soon after buying a deal through Angie's List for the furnace check up and scheduled an appointment for the next week. The technician was polite and efficient and as we have a newer furnace didn't need to spend much time though I am entirely confident that he did everything necessary to keep the furnace in good working order. I bought this deal because we were not satisfied with the service (or lack there of) from another company we used last year. I was so impressed with the service that I asked them to quote us a price for central air.
