The company emailed me back promptly and let me know that they do not service my area. I wish they would have indicated that they did not service Port Jervis.

They were wonderful. They were there on time, the technician was knowledgeable, polite and very considerate. Gave me information that I needed. I think he cleaned it better than the other company I used several years ago.

The technician Dan was very timely, friendly, and professional. The technician will return in the spring to complete the system recharge, replacement of drip pan, and system check.

The refund was for the boiler tune-up since my house did not have a boiler.

I knew going into the cooling season that my 15 year old Trane air conditioning system would need to have coolant added, which is expensive. I opted to try D. Rhode's $49.00 tune up offer from Angies. They responded immediately to my email and we set an appointment. It came as no surprise that I did need coolant but I was dismayed to find that mold had formed in the attic unit and that I would need a blue light installed. After a bit of sticker shock I went with their recommendations and they were back as scheduled to install. They cleaned the unit and installed the light which only comes on when the unit is active. I had the best cooling season I have had in 15 years, not once did I have to go into the attic to dry the water sensor off in order to get the unit cooling again. I am very impressed! My old maintenance folks were never able to get me through a season without me making weekly trips to the attic to dry the puck in order to get the cooling going again. I will me using D. Rhode from here on .

It was very good. Scheduling was easy. I called him up and he was here the next day. He was friendly and did the job professionally.

The provider was great. They were on time. Then they quickly identified the problem. I could tell they were very skilled and knew exactly what to do. The problem was fixed and he then proceeded to very thoroughly inspect all the remaining units. I would gladly use them again and will be referring them.

I love this company. I've used them before and I think they're the best. I want to use them for all my air conditioning/heating needs but it's just too far out of their service area to come to me. I don't know of anyone else I can trust other than D. Rhode Heating and Plumbing. Call them people!! They'll be honest and fair with you.

I almost expect that with these "tune up specials", it gives the heating a/c company a toe in the door. Once in, they want to sell, sell, sell. Don't repair, replace. That's what these specials are about. With the D Rohde $69 special, he addressed my immediate problem and did the tune up. The technician suggested improvements, no scam, no ripoff. It's an honest company, that keeps their appointment, honors their price, and I shall be using them in the future. Very happy with the results of the visit.

The first plumbing guy installed the new faucet. After he left and I checked it, I noticed the hot water water pressure was very low, and was unacceptable. I called Rhode back and told them this, so a few days later another plumber came out to check it. He too was here for quite a while, and when he was done he said there was "a problem with rubber material from the gasket on the old faucet that had come apart and clogged up the line", and he said the only way it could be rectified was "to do a whole house water system flush", to get the stuff out that was clogging things up.I had never heard of this before and asked how much that would cost, and he said it depended on how long it would take to flush out the stuff that was in there ..."it could be two hours, could take four hours" at a cost of between $200 - $400 dollars. I told him I had to think about that, and then contacted an old friend of mine who sells plumbing supplies in AL, and he said he had never heard of a "whole house flush", had no idea why they would say that, and told me most likely the bits of rubber gasket were lodged somewhere in the faucet handle itself. He walked me through removing it and told me to turn the water on to clear it out ... and sure enough, bits of rubber came out. After doing this a few more times and putting it all back together ... the hot water pressure was just as it should be. I don't know if the Rhode plumber who told me this did not know what he was talking about, or if they were just trying to rip us off. Either way it left a bad taste in my mouth ... and I will never use (or recommend) Rhode again.

The work involved removing old , stems and seats replace with parts from the kit I already had. Took about an hour, his guy explained what was to be done and why. Gave me options if I wanted to upgrade.(At my request) Overall happy with work it was done quickly and correctly.

He called us promptly, showed up when he was supposed to, was friendly, and did everything in an efficient manner. Price was better than any we looked at.

I found the response by Rohde to be incredulous. Yes, there were two issues at hand. One the option he didn't give me but he wrote about is, he should have told me that I may be able to get parts for this unit for the unit. What was stated to me is that parts for this unit were not available because he told me that the parts for this unit were unavailable. Low refrigerant does not cost $2500...what was done was over treatment of repair. There was no cost for repair because he told me he couldn't repair only option was to replace. The second issue is also wholly ridiculous because I have three professional degrees and my command and understanding of the technical language is not to be deemed within an excuse of 'misunderstanding. I found this humorous since I can electrical wire a house and install a security system so the notion that I don't things 'electrical' is absurd. Additionally, I met their representative on site. Telephone conversations occurred before we met at the house. The only thing that was transacted was an over charge of $2306.05...and on top of that he wanted to charge me the same amount for the second unit.

I used an Angie's List coupon to pre pay for an A/C tune up ($50). Our unit had not been checked for a couple of years. The technician cleaned it out and tested various components. A few days later, the A/C unit stopped blowing cold air so I called back and within a day, the same technician returned to replace a blown capacitor ($160 + tax). He explained to me how the unit worked and what the capacitor does and he had the unit running within 30 minutes. The timing of the blown capacitor was horrible coming so soon after maintenance was performed, but that's life.

This provider was FANTASTIC. He was prompt in returning phone call and arriving promptly for scheduled appointment. Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Yes, I would use him again.

At first he thought the compressor needed to be replaced and promised to get me a quote ASAP. He sent me an email the next day but didn't follow up next week for an appointment. I called them and another guy came out who had discussed my AC problem with the previous guy and tried installing a "hard start" - which ended up working and solved the problem without having to replace the compressor (which is a lot more expensive).

Left a message and never received a call. If you cant be bothered to call back then don't list yourself
